As You Wish Talk Radio Contact, Healing, and Self-Mastery at E-Ceti Ranch Guest Host Peter Slattery Opens the ECETI Ranch Conversation With James Gilliland unavailable, Peter Maxwell Slattery temporarily takes over the program from E-Ceti Ranch during a Self-Mastery Ambassador Workshop. He explains that participants have experienced several days of reported daytime and nighttime phenomena, contact activity, spiritual practices, and personal experiences throughout the property. Rather than presenting a single formal teaching, Slattery invites attendees to describe what they have witnessed and how the workshop has affected them. The episode unfolds as a series of firsthand accounts centered on aerial phenomena, healing, spiritual contact, resilience, belonging, and the atmosphere participants associate with the ranch. A Rocket Scientist Reflects on Night-Watch Phenomena Joe, an attendee with more than forty years of experience working in manned spaceflight, describes his first E-Ceti night watch as overwhelming. He recalls seeing numerous satellites and unidentified objects moving across the sky, while military-grade night-vision goggles revealed far more activity than he could see unaided. Joe also reports flashes that appeared during conversations about spirituality and interprets them as communication or informational “downloads” from higher-dimensional beings. Slattery asks which specific movements, flashes, turns, or apparent responses led Joe to regard some of the activity as anomalous rather than ordinary satellites or space debris. Science, Intuition, and Experiences Beyond the Physical Joe shares an earlier experience in which he says he prayed to Archangel Haniel for help solving a difficult programming problem. He reports awakening later with the solution fully formed, entering approximately 650 lines of code from memory, and finding that the program worked. The discussion then turns to old space-shuttle footage that Joe remembers as showing jellyfish-like forms moving in space. Joe also refers to reports he attributes to Russian space research involving microorganisms recovered from the exterior of spacecraft. Slattery connects these accounts with his own belief that some atmospheric and space phenomena may be organic and that contact may involve more than conventional physical craft. Healing, Emotional Release, and the Power of Intention The conversation shifts from aerial sightings to the emotional and spiritual effects of the workshop. Joe describes experiencing love, joy, tingling, and tears during James Gilliland's clearing practices, which he interprets as interaction with benevolent spiritual intelligences. He also recounts repeating an intention to release chronic neck pain during a walk around the property and says the pain disappeared before the exercise ended. Slattery presents the experience as an example of healing connected with focused intention, emotional release, the walking practice, and the supportive field participants believe has developed at the ranch. He further explains that the table work, clearings, and group practices are intended to lower emotional defenses, release trauma and judgment, and deepen connection among attendees. Cameron's Story of Resilience and Transformation Cameron, a volunteer and returning attendee, describes E-Ceti as a place where he can connect with nature, spiritual teachings, and people who understand unusual experiences. He shares that he was struck by a train and lost both legs and one arm, yet learned to live independently with prosthetics. He describes rebuilding his identity and daily life through independence, adaptability, perseverance, resilience, and a determination to maintain personal freedom. Cameron also explains that a later UFO encounter redirected his search for meaning and truth. Since first coming to E-Ceti around 2019 or 2020, he says the ranch's teachings, clearings, and community have contributed to his physical, emotional, mental, psychological, and spiritual growth. Sightings, Belonging, and a Family Beyond Ordinary Life Cameron recounts seeing fleets, converging objects, blinkers, and rapid “power-ups” during sky watches at the ranch. He also describes filming a cigar-shaped object off the central coast of California and notes that many unusual events happen too quickly to record. Beyond the sightings, he emphasizes the value of being among people who listen without ridicule or judgment. Slattery and Cameron portray the ranch as a place where previously isolated individuals form friendships, release emotional burdens, and develop a sense of extended family. Cameron says he chose compassion, forgiveness, and perseverance rather than remaining in what he describes as a victim role, viewing adversity as an opportunity for deeper strength and gratitude. Night Vision, Sasquatch Experiences, and Group Energy Linda, another returning attendee, explains that her experiences at E-Ceti inspired her to purchase night-vision goggles and continue sky watching at home. She reports seeing unusual aerial movements, military aircraft, and what she believes are benevolent beings providing protection. Linda also describes becoming deeply emotional near an area dedicated to a Sasquatch family, saying she sensed warmth, love, and a protective presence. Slattery notes that several participants have reported Bigfoot or Sasquatch experiences during the workshop and connects those reports with the region's reputation. The final attendee describes the workshop as a temporary release from the pressures of ordinary life, where she feels able to lower her defenses, practice self-love, and experience what she regards as unconditional acceptance. A Sanctuary for Contact, Community, and Inner Development Slattery closes by encouraging listeners to explore E-Ceti's events, clearing techniques, educational resources, and opportunities to support the ranch financially. He points to the tens of thousands of people who, according to him, have visited during the ranch's roughly forty years of operation. He describes the property as an energetic field strengthened by repeated spiritual practices, workshops, and contact work. At the same time, he stresses that the purpose of contact is not to depend upon external beings for rescue, validation, or answers, but to strengthen each person's direct relationship with God or Source and help individuals become more self-reliant. The final promotional segment invites audiences to watch future programs, attend workshops, view sky-watch footage, and explore teachings on self-mastery, herbalism, grounding, shielding, and related practices.

Each month, writers gather for feedback at Script Lab Laurie Slattery, who discovered Savage Wonder's Script Lab online and appreciated the nonprofit's focus on veterans, showed up for the first time at a workshop last month. Her grandfather stormed Iwo Jima with the Marines, and her nephew served in Iraq. "I wrote some poetry and a script that I had to retrieve from an old computer," she says. After moving to Beacon three years ago, "it took me a while to get my nerve up, but I need some enlightenment and to be around creative people." During the three-hour session, Slattery observed as the group read, then mildly critiqued several script excerpts. Suggestions are delivered with a positive spirit; nothing gets carved up. Francis Kielbe, who had made revisions based on feedback from the previous Script Lab meeting, listened to "Version 2.0" of his screenplay about depressed monsters attending an AA-style gathering. Rob Barron, a regular who teaches theater at The City College of New York, suggested that Kielbe consider "character directions. Do you want the vampire to be like Bela Lugosi or some frat boy? What kind of zombie are you looking for?" Topher Kage, an actor, writer, Army veteran and director of experience at Savage Wonder, plays a genial and gentle host who asks writers, "What do you want to get out of this?" Most come to hear the dialogue outside of their heads. Lauren O'Brien, who created the one-woman Lolo's Boyfriend Show, is writing a TV pilot. "Early in the process, it's hard to tell what you have. Does it hit with people? Is it confusing?" she asks. "The lab helps you see what works and what doesn't work. I'm ready to feel it." O'Brien, who lives in Beacon, heard buzz about the gathering and decided to take the plunge. "I'm a sensitive artist, but we always need feedback," she says. As Kage read the opening scene at a frantic pace, O'Brien pressed play on a phone soundtrack as her alter ego darted around Manhattan, chased by a mystery man wearing expensive shoes. As much as the creators enjoy hearing people read their work, several attendees show up to bring the scripts alive. Cold and semi-cold readings notwithstanding, volunteers keep things moving. Animating one of Barron's scenes, Beacon resident Lily Cabe played a waitress with aplomb, supporting O'Brien and Ted Swindley, author of Always … Patsy Cline, who poured on the smarm as a rogue substance abuser with three ex-wives and a prison bid on his resume. Swindley also dug into his role as an air traffic controller in Kage's script, a 10-minute play presented with authentic sound effects. "I like to work the acting muscle," says Swindley, who also provides advice. Time limits for individual works are loose, but everyone gets an equitable shot depending on the work's length and merit. Kielbe's monster mash lasted four pages; others are more elaborate. "We get excellent feedback from skilled people, and I'm honored to get the attention," says O'Brien. "This vortex of creativity and sharing with others is like being close to God. I feel like I'm part of something." Script Lab is held at 6 p.m. for writers ages 21 and older on the first Wednesday of each month at Savage Wonder, 141 Main St., in Beacon. The next sessions are July 1 and Aug. 5. See dub.sh/script-lab.

How do you protect communities from intensifying floods, heat, storms, and other hazards when the words around those risks can shut the conversation down? In this episode of People Behind the Plans , recorded live at NPC26, APA Editor in Chief Meghan Stromberg talks with Ryan Slattery, AICP , a resilience and hazard mitigation planner in Houston, about what it takes to keep difficult conversations moving when trust is fragile, language is loaded, and the stakes are real. Drawing on more than a decade of work helping communities prepare for and recover from shocks and stresses, Ryan reflects on why “meeting people where they are” is not about avoiding hard truths. It is about finding the way into conversations that matter. Along the way, he shares what planners can learn from criticism, why the best engagement starts with listening, and how the work of protecting communities continues even when the vocabulary gets complicated. Ryan also offers a window into planning from inside a large engineering firm, where resilience work can be shaped alongside stormwater, transportation, and environmental expertise from the start. He talks about where AI may help planners make sense of complex information — and where human judgment still matters most — as well as the growing tensions around data centers, water, and the conversations communities cannot afford to postpone. And because Houston is never just a backdrop, Ryan makes the case for an NPC27 itinerary with bayou trails for hiking and biking, culture in every direction, and plenty of great food along the way. It is a conversation about resilience, community trust, and the uncomfortable moments that can make planners better at the work. Frank is joined by Joe, aka "Muscles of the Multiverse," to talk Marvel storytelling from the comics page to the MCU screen, then go all-in on Disney+'s Wonder Man after its eight-episode drop. Joe breaks down what he does on YouTube, why he started the Reading the Multiverse podcast, and how he approaches Marvel adaptation trends without expecting (or wanting) a 1-to-1 translation. From there, the episode shifts into a full Wonder Man discussion: why the show works as a character-first story, how it balances comedy with real stakes, and why the Simon Williams and Trevor Slattery dynamic ended up being the surprise engine of the season. The conversation also gets into Simon's anxiety and identity pressure, the Department of Damage Control angle, the "Doorman" detour episode, and what all of this might be setting up for mutants and the next big MCU era. Timestamps and Topics (major beats) 00:00 Intro and guest welcome: Joe "Muscles of the Multiverse" 00:30 Joe's content approach: MCU-to-comics explainers + Reading the Multiverse podcast 02:15 Quick MCU news: Ian McKellen "destroyed New Jersey" comment and what it could imply 05:10 Wonder Man first reactions: why it's landing better than expected 06:40 Character-driven Marvel: Simon's relatability, anxiety, and hiding "who you are" in Hollywood 09:00 Acting as the hook: standout performances, "meta" acting scenes, and why Trevor works now 18:10 Wonder Man powers explained: ionic energy basics and how the MCU might simplify the lore 20:10 Bigger MCU threads: Vision/Wanda possibilities, mutant framing, and Damage Control as a warning sign 30:45 Episode balance talk: comedy vs drama, and why the Doorman episode hits so hard 41:00 What's next for Simon: hero-by-proxy theory, team potential, and final scores 44:40 Disney+ marketing debate: why some shows feel under-pushed and what Marvel can fix 50:35 Recommendations: The Ultimates (Deniz Camp) and revisiting Schitt's Creek 53:10 Joe's upcoming work: Doctor Doom deep cuts, Fantastic Four read-through, and the editing grind Key Takeaways Wonder Man works because it treats Simon Williams like a person first, superhero second. The show's comedy lands because the stakes stay real in the background, especially with Damage Control looming. Trevor Slattery is fully recontextualized here: still funny, but also weirdly wise and essential to Simon's growth. The Doorman episode is a standout swing that doubles as a Hollywood critique and a superhero fatigue commentary. Joe's breakdown of Simon's ionic-energy comic history highlights why Marvel rarely does strict comic-to-screen adaptation. Damage Control and the "quota" vibe point toward a wider MCU theme: institutional fear of powered people. Mutant groundwork is starting to feel less like a sudden switch and more like a slow social shift in-world. Both hosts land at a 9/10, with the only "missing point" being more about feel than a specific flaw. Memorable Quotes "There's usually never a 1 to 1 adaptation." "I didn't know that I needed more Trevor Slattery in my life. But now I do." "Mephisto is not going to be in everything." "It felt like it was made to be for an episodic TV show." "You can't help but root for Simon." Call to Action If you enjoyed this episode, make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss the next review and interview. The Bald Prince and His Tall Knight Make Perfect Travel Companions This week on the podcast, Brian and Darryl are talking about the new GOT spinoff A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. And Wonderman Episode 1. All this and… some Brandon Sanderson news. Episode Index Intro: 0:07 Sanderson: 8:45 Wonderman: 19:00 Dunk & Egg: 35:07 Brandon Sanderson's Literary Fantasy Universe ‘Cosmere' Picked Up by Apple TV (Exclusive) https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/brandon-sandersons-mistborn-stormlight-archive-movie-tv-1236487271/ Wonderman (Disney+) Episode 1 – “Matinee” (Premiere) Episode 1 introduces us to Simon Williams (played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a struggling actor and stuntman whose career is in a tailspin. After being fired from a TV role and dumped by his girlfriend, Simon is at a crossroads. When he runs into Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley), a fellow actor with an eccentric reputation, he learns Slattery is auditioning for a remake of the classic superhero film Wonder Man — a movie Simon loved as a kid and which inspired him to pursue acting in the first place. Simon pushes for a shot at the role, but his agent refuses. Undeterred, he somehow lands an audition alongside Slattery anyway. Slattery gives him advice that helps him make an impression. Meanwhile, Department of Damage Control agent P. Cleary secretly contacts Slattery with instructions to watch Simon closely because he might have actual superpowers, tying Simon's acting ambitions to real-world MCU stakes. This episode sets up two parallel arcs: Simon's Hollywood hustle and dream of stardom, and the hint that he may be more than just an actor, potentially linking him to actual superhero abilities and the broader Marvel universe. Tone-wise, Episode 1 blends industry satire, comedy, and superhero setup, spotlighting the absurdities of Hollywood while weaving in classic MCU connective tissue. Ratings: Out of 5 Here’s a Note For You… Get Out Darryl: 3.75/5 Brian: 3.8/5 A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (HBO Max) Episode 1 – “The Hedge Knight” This premiere introduces Dunk (Ser Duncan the Tall) and Egg (the boy who becomes his squire), setting up the tone and stakes for the series. It takes place about 100 years before Game of Thrones and focuses on a smaller-scale story full of character and humor rather than sweeping war and politics. Here's what happens: Dunk buries his mentor, Ser Arlan of Pennytree, and takes his sword, shield, and three horses as he heads toward the Ashford tourney, hoping to make his name and find work. At an inn, he meets a young bald boy who asks to be his squire. After initially refusing, Dunk ultimately accepts him and names the boy Egg. At Ashford, Dunk tries to enter the tournament but learns he needs someone reputable to vouch for him. He seeks out knights who knew Ser Arlan, but nobody will put their name on the line for a wandering hedge knight. Along the way we see the rough, earthy humor and grounded Westerosi world the show is leaning into (including some decidedly human moments missing from prior franchise entries). By the end, Dunk officially becomes Ser Duncan the Tall, and he and Egg share a moment under the stars, signaling the start of their journey together. Tone note: it's lighter and more character-focused than Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon, blending heartfelt moments with gritty, grounded humor. Episode 2 – “Hard Salt Beef” In the second episode, Dunk's quest to enter the Ashford tourney continues and the story expands slightly into the world's wider politics and personality. Key beats: Dunk spends much of the episode telling other knights about his mentor Ser Arlan, trying to get someone to vouch for him so he can compete, but keeps getting brushed off. Egg helps by pointing out the unfairness of Dunk needing permission when he's already a knight, showing how their dynamic is evolving. Members of House Targaryen arrive at the tourney — princes including Baelor, Maekar, and Aerion — and their presence adds weight to the event. Dunk overhears a conversation about missing Targaryen children and uses the moment (and a bit of boldness) to appeal directly to Prince Baelor to vouch for him. Baelor does remember Ser Arlan and, while not lavish in praise, quietly ensures Dunk's name is added to the tournament list. Dunk and Egg also start to settle more into the tourney rhythm — from watching performances to joining in games — as Dunk grapples with what legacy and honor really mean in this world. This episode deepens the relationship between Dunk and Egg, introduces more of Westeros's nobility (in a relatively casual, grounded way), and frames Dunk's struggles not just to fight but to matter. Quick Character & World Context Dunk and Egg are adapted from the Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas by George R.R. Martin. The series is intentionally smaller in scale, focusing on relationships and the everyday lives of knights and squires rather than epic political wars or dragons. Don't forget to grab your free scripture journal at PrayingChristianWomen.com/journal today! Is prayer meant to be a monologue where we ask for things, or a genuine two-way conversation where God talks back? This week, Jennifer Slattery, host of the Faith Over Fear podcast, joins Jaime for an inspiring discussion on how to hear God's voice through the practice of interactive journaling. In this episode, Jennifer unpacks the practical steps of this relational tool, explaining how to move from an intellectualized faith to an emotional connection with the Father. She discusses the importance of releasing expectations and trusting God to speak on His terms—whether through Scripture, nature, or even, as her daughter experiences it, through calculus. Jennifer also shares her moving personal testimony of overcoming the shame of homelessness in her youth. She details a specific moment where she expected God’s condemnation but instead received a persistent, healing message of grace that aligned perfectly with Scripture. You’ll walk away with a fresh perspective on how to attune your ears to God's frequency, practical tips to start your own journaling habit, and the reassurance that God wants to connect with you just as much as you want to connect with Him. SEASON 2 - EPISODE 177 - James Slattery - Colourist In this extended episode of the Team Deakins Podcast, we speak with colourist James Slattery (THE LOST BUS, EMPIRE OF LIGHT, 1917). How does someone become a colourist? What do they really do? What is a CDL? DI? QC? DIT? P3? HDR? James, with whom we've worked with several times, graciously explains what all these acronyms (and more) mean, how a colourist generally goes about their work nowadays on any given project, and what he's able to do to help filmmakers solve problems and help realize their visions in the final stages of post-production. James has experience timing dailies and also applying the finishing grade, and he helps us explain the different responsibilities and expectations of each process. James later helps us provide an overview of the different types of deliverables for a film, and he shares some common mistakes young colorists today should avoid. Though the role of a colourist is technically and creatively demanding, James, throughout our conversation, stresses the importance of being able to work with others as a member of the team. - This episode is sponsored by Aputure

Bevan Slattery, Australian entrepreneur and founder of multiple telecommunications ventures, spoke at The Tech Capital the 3rd annual APAC Finance Forum in Singapore on the evolving digital infrastructure landscape in Australia and Asia. Slattery noted the extensive rebuilding of internet connectivity over the past 12 to 24 months. “When you look at communications from the United States to Singapore, for example, or even India, they kind of realise we need new routes away from routes that are, I'd say, at risk at some level,” he said. “Really we're seeing an entire new route being built from the US to Australia and then Australia all deep water down the bottom then kind of coming back up to Singapore and India and then beyond.” He touched on the unprecedented scale of investment in data centres and AI facilities, while stressing operational risks. “People aren't realising is that they're still data centres at the end of the day, so data's got to flow in,” he said. “From a risk standpoint… you just have to make sure that you build your infrastructure and facilities to be able to withstand and evolve as the computer evolves over 25 years. If you redo your architecture and make sure it's flexible, you've got this asset that can go for 25 years and last, you know, four generations of GPUs.” Slattery also addressed recent disruptions to subsea cables in the Middle East, citing four recent cable breaks. “It doesn't look like sabotage. It just looks like genuine,” he said. “What our focus is on is new corridors. So we built Perthaman, the only cable… that avoided issues and challenges like that.” He revealed the company had secured terrestrial capacity from Oman through Saudi Arabia and Jordan into the Mediterranean to mitigate risk. Discussing regulatory challenges, Slattery acknowledged the complexity of establishing new infrastructure in previously undeveloped locations. “If you keep building to the same location, regulators, local government, environment agencies… they've seen applications before and approvals are consistent. But now that we're actually needed to build these new routes that are diverse away from these other locations… we're having to go through this education process. It's hard work, but once we do that, the community sees the benefit, it'll actually be easier for the second and third person,” he said. Looking ahead, Slattery said he was satisfied with the current state of connectivity investment. “The position we're in is such a great spot… we still own 100% of the business from a sovereign capability in Australia… the world is now realising each country needs a sovereign capability or a trusted partner. The other thing that's really helped a lot is just the amount of investment happening in data centres and AI. Connectivity's got to follow.” Slattery also outlined his philanthropic projects, including the creation of a million square metres of tolerant reef over eight years and research on Megaptera species. “By understanding where the Megaptera go and what they're doing, we're actually having a much bigger understanding of the ecosystem… everything from small fish to birds to entirely new aggregation zones,” he said.

In this episode of The Broker Link, Gillan Boyer and Josh Slattery unpack the proposed CMS 2027 rule and what it could mean for agents, consumers, and the future of the insurance industry. The discussion highlights a clear shift toward deregulation, with several proposed changes aimed at reducing administrative burden while increasing flexibility for both agents and consumers. Key topics include updates to Special Enrollment Period (SEP) rules, allowing plan changes when providers leave a network, and the removal of the 12-hour delay between educational and marketing events. Gillan and Josh also break down proposals to shorten record retention requirements for call recordings, simplify TPMO disclaimers, and eliminate certain low-value compliance requirements. The conversation explores how these changes could give agents more time to focus on what evidence shows matters most — educating and serving clients. Additionally, the episode covers proposed updates to the Stars program and discusses the long-term impact of making IRA changes permanent, particularly regarding Part D cost structures. Overall, the proposed 2027 rule signals a meaningful shift in CMS's approach — one that industry professionals are cautiously optimistic about as it moves toward a more practical, agent-friendly regulatory environment. James Gilliland and Peter Maxwell Slattery have both established retreat centers that have become world renowned popular hubs for UFO sightings, extraterrestrial contacts and angelic interactions they and others have experienced. The many UFO sightings and contacts have been documented in thousands of videos and photographs taken at their respective retreats located in Mt Adams, Washington, USA and Carlyle near Albury Wodonga, Victoria, Australia. In this Exopolitics Today interview with Dr. Michael Salla, James and Peter describe the significance of 3I/Atlas in terms of it being a mirror for humanity's unresolved fears and hopes in establishing extraterrestrial contact. They emphasize the importance of achieving self-mastery before making contact to ensure one is only interacting with truly benevolent and enlightened beings rather than deceivers. James and Peter also respond to questions about covert government forces tracking and interfering with extraterrestrial contactees, and how they have communicated with high level officials within the covert government trying to understand what is happening at their respective retreat centers. Peter described experiences he has had with individuals associated with the “Collins Group” who believe all extraterrestrials are demonic deceivers, and he has attempted to educate them about benevolent extraterrestrial civilizations.   This week, we print big or go home. Bad at Sports cast their eyes to New York from the safe confines of the Chicago Architectural Biennial booth at EXPO 2025 to talk with the legendary Two Palms studio in the guise of Alex Slattery. If you've ever stood slack-jawed in front of a monoprint the size of a small car or a woodblock cut so large it needed its own logistics plan, chances are Two Palms was behind it. Since the 1990s, David Lasry and company have been redefining what printmaking can be—working with artists like Carroll Dunham, Elizabeth Peyton, Mel Bochner, Cecily Brown, Terry Winters, Chris Ofili, Dana Schutz, Richard Prince, Chuck Close, Jeff Koons, and yes, even channeling the ghost of Andy Warhol. From delicate gestures to total madness with ink and paper, the studio's collaborations are as unpredictable as they are radical. We talk risk, scale, failure, and discovery—the alchemy of artist–printer collaborations that make Two Palms a force in contemporary art. Along the way we wander through stories of impossible woodblocks, ink disasters turned into triumphs, and why printmaking might just be the most punk medium of them all. So pour a glass, sharpen your barens, and get ready to nerd out about the future of prints.   Two Palms https://www.twopalms.us/ @twopalmsnyc   Name-Drop  Carroll Dunham — https://www.presenhuber.com/artists/carroll-dunham#tab:slideshow Elizabeth Peyton — https://www.davidzwirner.com/artists/elizabeth-peyton Mel Bochner — http://www.melbochner.net/ Cecily Brown — https://gagosian.com/artists/cecily-brown/ Terry Winters —https://www.terrywinters.org/ Chris Ofili — https://www.davidzwirner.com/artists/chris-ofili/survey Dana Schutz — https://www.davidzwirner.com/artists/dana-schutz Richard Prince — http://www.richardprince.com/ Chuck Close — https://www.pacegallery.com/artists/chuck-close/ Jeff Koons — https://www.jeffkoons.com/ Two Palms — https://www.twopalms.us/ Marilyn Minter — https://www.twopalms.us/featured-works/marilyn-minter Stanley Whitney — https://www.twopalms.us/featured-works/stanley-whitney Ana Benaroya — https://www.twopalms.us/featured-works/ana-benaroya David Paul Lasry — https://www.nga.gov/artists/21067-david-paul-lasry Alex Slattery — https://www.instagram.com/alexslattery/ EXPO CHICAGO - https://www.expochicago.com/ Chicago Architectural Biennial 6 - https://chicagoarchitecturebiennial.org/ Institutions that love these prints: Whitney Museum of American Art — https://whitney.org/ MoMA — https://www.moma.org/ The Met — https://www.metmuseum.org/

In this episode of the Ad Tech Godpod, host AdTechGod speaks with Hillary Slattery, Senior Director of Product Management at IAB Tech Lab. They discuss Hillary's career journey, the differences between IAB and IAB Tech Lab, the rise of programmatic advertising in CTV, challenges in transparency and data sharing, innovations in live event advertising, the role of curation, and the impact of AI on the advertising industry. Hillary emphasizes the importance of transparency, the need for standards in advertising, and her motivation as a female leader in a technical role. Takeaways Hillary Slattery has a diverse background in ad tech. IAB and IAB Tech Lab serve different but complementary roles. Programmatic advertising in CTV is a growing trend. Transparency in data sharing is a significant challenge. Curation is becoming increasingly important in advertising. AI is reshaping the advertising landscape. Hillary values her role as a female technical lead. The conversations in ad tech are always evolving and interesting. There are legitimate reasons for the lack of transparency from sellers. Hillary is motivated by the impact of her work and the people she collaborates with. Host Kate unpacks the details, implications, and what these shifts mean for advertisers, creators, and platforms heading into 2025. 5 Key Highlights: TikTok's U.S. operations are set to spin into a new company with majority American ownership (80%), including Oracle, Andreessen Horowitz, and Silver Lake, while ByteDance retains 20%. A new TikTok U.S. app is reportedly in testing, requiring users to migrate accounts, raising concerns about logins, content transfers, and algorithm performance. Rembrandt acquired Spaceback, adding scale with 3,000+ advertisers and expanding its AI-driven creative offerings to blend product placements with organic content. The merger reflects broader industry trends: AI-driven “intelligent creative,” creative functions shifting into buying platforms, and the blending of context with content. Index Exchange and Grace Note launched the first integration enabling show-level targeting and reporting in CTV, addressing long-standing transparency challenges for advertisers.
