Psalm 118 considers the salvation that God has worked for his people because of his steadfast love for them. The psalm calls God's people to respond with thankful praise. Speaker: Jude St. John

This week's psalm praises God for deliverance from a deadly situation. We consider gratefulness and how we as God's people should respond to our salvation. Speaker: Jude St. John

 Psalm 115 develops a contrast between the worship of the living God and lifeless idols. This contrast demonstrates that worshiping God leads to life while idol worship leads only to death. When we behold God's character and reflect on His action we find every reason to trust in the Lord and praise Him forever. Speaker: Aaron Hesman

Psalm 114 began with a look back at the Exodus and ended pointing us forward to our own lives with God. Its message can be summed up in the title we've repeated: When God is present, everything changes. Speaker: Rick Walton

This week we look at a wisdom psalm which concerns itself with the fear of the Lord and the blessings that come with that heart posture. Speaker: Jude St. John

Psalm 111 calls God's people to praise Him for His wondrous works and His faithful Word, and to live in reverent awe, ordering their lives in the fear of the Lord. Speaker: Barry Usher

Psalm 110 gives us a portrait of Jesus the Messiah as God's divinely appointed King, eternal Priest, and conquering Warrior. Through these roles, God reveals the depth of His steadfast love given to His people in Christ. Speaker: Barry Usher

We will see in this Psalm that God loves his people with a steadfast love and so they can cry out to him in their suffering and pray that he will deliver them. Speaker: Jude St. John

God's steadfast love is seen in His promises and their salvation. We should respond with a steadfast heart towards Him. Speaker: Jude St. John

The psalmist calls God's people to consider the steadfast love of the Lord, and to thank and praise Him accordingly. Speaker: Jude St. John

As the gospel advances in Acts 14, God's power is made known- confronting unbelief, exposing idolatry, and strengthening the church through faithful witness and perseverance in the face of opposition.

No opposition or obstacle can stop the advance of God's powerful gospel of salvation in Jesus. Speaker: Barry Usher

As the church in Acts officially moves to missions in the Gentile world, God makes it clear that he is the one who guides his church.

Persecution continues against the church in Jerusalem and against the Apostles. The disciples receive a powerful answer to their prayers. Speaker: Jude St. John

Today's passage deals with the growth of the church in the city of Antioch. Speaker: Jude St. John

In Acts 11, we see that as the early church grew in its understanding of the gospel, their unity and fellowship were strengthened through mutual accountability, submission to God, and obedience to His Word. Speaker: Barry Usher
