It's Monday, March 24th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Four Eritrean Christian leaders languishing in prison For more than 20 years, four courageous Christian pastors have been unjustly detained in Eritrea, Africa without charges, reports International Christian Concern. Their crime? Practicing their faith and serving their communities. Pastor Haile Naizghe, a former senior accountant with World Vision, dedicated his life to spiritual care. Dr. Kiflu Gebremeskel, a mathematics lecturer with a Ph.D. from the United States, committed to education and faith. Pastor Meron Gebreselasie is an anesthetist who provided critical medical care to his neighbors. Pastor Kidane Weldou, a secondary school biology teacher, inspired many. These men were arrested in the early 2000s for their leadership in local churches. Instead of fostering their invaluable contributions to Eritrean society, they remain imprisoned under appalling conditions, without access to critical medical care.  Hebrews 13:3 says, "Remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them." Dr. Gebremeskel has high blood pressure, and is in poor health. And Pastor Nayzgi has severe skin problems and has been suffering for a long time. Sign a petition created by International Christian Concern to demand accountability from the Eritrean government. Click a special link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. According to Open Doors, Eritrea, Africa is the sixth worst country worldwide for the persecution of Christians. Trump revokes security clearances for Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden In a memo published late Friday night, President Donald Trump directed federal agencies to remove the security clearances for former Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Joe Biden, and other former high-ranking Democrats and their Republican allies who fought vigorously to prevent Trump from being re-elected in 2024, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Trump wrote, “I have determined that it is no longer in the national interest for the following individuals to access classified information.” Two others denied access are two former Republican U.S. House members, Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, who served on the disreputable January 6 Committee. Top Biden prosecutor found dead at 43 after indicting 4 Russians Former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Jessica Aber, who was found dead at the age of 43 by Virginia authorities on Saturday, was at the helm of high-profile investigations into intelligence leaks, allegations of war crimes against Russian-linked individuals, and people suspected of providing sensitive U.S. technology to Moscow before she stepped down at the start of the year, reports Newsweek. In late 2023, Aber was also involved in an indictment against four Russia-affiliated individuals charged with torture, inhuman treatment, and unlawful confinement of a U.S. national in Ukraine after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. In a news release Saturday, the Alexandria Police Department confirmed Aber's death without noting the cause. Boxer George Foreman, a devout Christian, dead at 76 Former heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman, known as much for his gregarious personality as his vicious right hook, died Friday, reports ABC News. He was 76 years old. A two-time heavyweight champion, he also won gold at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics against Russian boxer Ionas Chepulis. ANNOUNCER: “The fight will continue at the count of nine. Chepulis looks in very bad shape. George is going after the Russian. The referee warns George for holding and hitting. “Foreman throwing bombs in there. Ripping punches by George Foreman. He's all over the Russian. Chepulis looks all through. George pouring it on, and the referee stops the fight in the second round. It's all over. George Foreman wins the gold medal. “There's George holding up the American flag in the center of the ring before thousands of impressed spectators and millions more of television viewers. An inspiring ending to Olympic boxing at the Mexico City 19th Olympiad.” Appearing on 100 Huntley Street in April 2013, Foreman shared his testimony, on how God got his attention in a near death experience which he chronicled in his spiritual autobiography entitled, God In My Corner. FOREMAN: “I never could lose that thought: ‘You're gonna die. You're gonna die.' And in a dirty old dressing room, when I had all these wonderful homes, I was about to die. “I heard a voice within me say, ‘You believe in God. Why are you scared to die?' And I was afraid. I was scared. And I realized it was God talking with me. I didn't believe in religion. I thought that was for -- you got to be a sissy. Everybody who had taken up religion in those days had lost a wife or a husband or a boxing match, and they were carrying their Bibles as a baby. “I tried to make a deal in that dressing room. I said, ‘I can still box and give money to charity and for cancer.' And I heard a voice say, ‘I don't want your money. I want you!' And I remember tears. The first time I heard anyone turn down money, number one. Jesus Christ is coming alive in me. That's what happened to me in that dressing room.” In his post-boxing career, Foreman later saw success pitching the now-omnipresent countertop grill that bears his name. FOREMAN: “The George Foreman Grilling Machine is very special. Everyone should have one. Number one because this grill has something no other grill has: slants. You put your food in and the grease rolls down.” Unbelievably, he sold 100 million Foreman Grills, earning $5 million a month at one point. Idaho enacts law protecting conscience rights for medical professionals Idaho has enacted a new law designed to protect healthcare providers from having to perform or participate in procedures, like abortions or transgender surgeries, that violate their deeply held beliefs, reports The Christian Post. Last Wednesday, Idaho's Republican Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 59, also known as the Medical Ethics Defense Act. Samaritan's Purse needs volunteers and money to help storm victims And finally, as The Worldview reported on March 18th, severe weather took the lives of 42 Americans and left 100,000 without power across seven states. Samaritan's Purse said it's sending volunteers to assist with recovery efforts in Missouri and Oklahoma after powerful storms, fueled by heavy winds, ripped through the two states, reports The Christian Post. John Schultz, a Samaritan's Purse staffer, asked for help in Southeastern Missouri. SCHULTZ: “The wind is still continuing to rage after these storms that caused nearly 100 tornadoes across this whole region over the past weekend. So many homeowners have lost a lot here. “We need additional help from volunteers to come out and serve the homeowners in Jesus' name right here in Poplar Bluff, and north of here in Piedmont, Missouri.” If you would like to volunteer your help or send money to help the victims of the storms in the name of Jesus, click a special link through our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. 1 John 3:17 asks, “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need,  but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, March 24th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Subscribe by Amazon Music or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com. Sluts and surprises.Based on a post by Ostrich Mack. Listen to the ► Podcast at Steamy Stories.Peter is summoned for sex.It was 11 o clock on a Wednesday when Peter got the WhatsApp.A photo of a thong, pushed slightly to the side to reveal a neatly trimmed cunt, and the text."We need a real cock."Peter laughed. "Jeez Lucy, you don't mince your words." He replied."Come quickly, but don't cum quickly. Mark is away and your service is needed.""Pun intended with a smiley face."Peter and Lucy had been fuck-buddies for several years and had enjoyed some great adventures sexually. They were eminently compatible but had no intentions for a permanent relationship. When Lucy's husband Mark was away, she would contact Peter, and they generally ended up in bed together. In the past they had also shared with other friends who would either visit Lucy, or who came from the town where they both lived.Peter sighed and decided that as he had a free day from work that he would head towards Lucy's house."What a cheek using the royal "we", he thought. But really, he was laughing about it all.Lucy and Peter had an arrangement for when Peter would visit her at home. He would go into a side street next to her house and use the entrance to her garden. This way he would be out of view from the nosy neighbors. It paid to be discreet in such a small town.Peter entered the garden, closing the gate quietly behind him, and walked up to the patio doors which were slightly open. He stopped and looked inside. Lucy was inside leaning over the kitchen counter with her back to him, obviously engrossed in something on her tablet. Peter noticed that she also had air pods in her ears, and she swayed her ass to the rhythm of the music on her tablet.Peter knew that her petite frame was perfectly proportioned, with small firm tits with nipples standing out like bullets when they were teased. Her hips curved gently out from a narrow waist, framing a perfect cunt. Her pubic hair was neatly trimmed. She had an athletic body and perfect legs.Peter walked stealthily behind her and slipped his hand under the long t-shirt she had on. As was her wont, Lucy had no panties on."Hmm." groaned Lucy without looking round. "I didn't expect you back so soon."Peter was puzzled. "Back so soon?" he thought. "That's an odd thing to say."Feeling that Lucy's cunt already slick was, Peter slipped a finger inside her. "Oh, nice," said Lucy, still not turning around. She pushed against Peter's finger.Peter's cock was already hard, and he decided to free it from the confines of his jeans. It sprung out and Peter didn't hesitate to slip it between Lucy's outer lips.Lucy froze. She turned her head and saw to her shock Peter standing behind her. She went to say something, but Peter covered her mouth with his hand. Lucy looked completely confused at the situation, but slowly recovered her composure.Without a word from either Peter slipped his cock in Lucy's love channel all the way in until his balls were resting on Lucy's ass. They stood like that for a couple of seconds.Lucy turned her head back toward the counter and pushed herself back against Peter.Peter withdrew slightly and started to rock backwards and forwards in a gentle rhythm. Lucy didn't utter a word, but gently purred her pleasure with "Umm, Hmm, Hmm." In time to the movement.Peter closed his eyes. Lucy's cunt walls were milking his cock as if it was the first time she had fucked like this. They kept the rhythm going for minutes, both with their eyes closed, both gently making love, enjoying the penetration and the feeling of being filled with Peter's fat cock.Out of nowhere, Peter felt a hand on his ball sack, gently massaging his balls. And then a tongue licking his cock as it sawed in and out of Lucy's dripping cunt.Peter looked down and to his surprise he saw Alison, Lucy's friend with whom they had shared earlier erotic adventures, on her knees under Lucy's body. Her hands were on Lucy's thighs, and she was eating at Lucy's cunt and caressing Peter's balls at the same time.Still no words were spoken. "Wow, that is hot!" thought Peter. He gradually increased the pace and depth of his strokes, withdrawing almost completely, before gently pushing back into Lucy until he bottomed out.Lucy's breathing was becoming shallower and more rapid as she enjoyed the sensation of Peter's cock filling her up and withdrawing again and again.Alison found Lucy's clit and began to lick furiously at it. She trapped that nub between her lips and teased it with her tongue. Alison's free hand was rubbing her own love bud to a crescendo. Finally, Lucy spoke. "Oh fuck, oh fuck, it's coming. I'm coming, don't stop please!"Alison too was on the verge and panting furiously as she whipped herself to a climax. Then Lucy collapsed on the counter. She pushed her ass back onto Peter as if she wanted him even deeper in her. Gasping for air, her whole body was trembling from the orgasm that washed over her like a pleasure wave.Peter was still rock hard and not even close to coming. He held his cock in Lucy's cunt until she started to come down from her high.He withdrew his cock from her, only to be met with Lucy's sad eyes missing that feeling of being utterly filled by him.Alison got to her feet and went to sit on the sofa so that she could bring herself to the peak. Lucy went to sit on one side of her and Peter on the other.Peter took hold of Alison's hands and prevented her from making herself come. Alison pleaded."Please Peter, I am so close."Peter shook his head. "No Alison, that's why we're here."Lucy traced her finger over Alison's blouse, opening the buttons as she progressed downwards. When it was completely open, she leaned in and took Alison's right nipple in her mouth, biting it gently.Alison jumped from the electric shock that spread over her whole body.Peter then leaned in and did the same to Alison's left nipple, letting go of Alison's hands.Alison placed her hands above her head and leaned back, pushing her beautiful tits up and out. Her nipples were standing erect like bullets.A red glow spread along her neck and over her chest as she began to squirm under the attention of her two lovers.Lucy's hand slid down to Alison's naked cunt, and she inserted a finger between her folds.Alison groaned in approval.Peter's hand slipped downwards too and found Alison's clit. He massaged it in gentle circles. All this time both Lucy and Peter were licking and biting Alison's nipples. This was driving Alison crazy with lust. She lifted her hips off the sofa to try and get more pressure from the hands massaging her.Lucy slipped a second finger inside and increased the pressure and pace.Alison's mouth formed an "O", but no sound came out.Peter rubbed faster and harder and the effect could be seen and heard from Alison's breathing."Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes." She gasped. Her legs stiffened and she clenched her teeth, her breath hissing from her mouth like air escaping from a punctured tire. Alison began to spasm as her orgasm crashed through her, but Lucy and Peter didn't stop. They continued their assault on her nipples and cunt as Alison shook and trembled.Alison's eyes rolled upward in her head, and it seemed as if she was gone into a trance, feeling only the crazy sensations racking her body. Then she began to shake violently, crying, barking out "Ah! Ah! Ah!" as tears rolled down her cheeks."Stop! I can't take any more." She cried out.Peter leaned in and kissed Alison on the lips and said, "You're welcome sweetie."Lucy kissed Alison too. Then she leaned across Alison and kissed Peter passionately saying ""Hello lover. What a delightful surprise."Peter smiled. "I thought I had been summoned by the Royal "We". He laughed. "Didn't expect that there would be two of you."Lucy smiled back. "Well, I certainly didn't expect to be taken from behind by surprise, as Alison had gone to unpack, and I thought that she was fingering me. How nice it was to have your magnificent cock inside me once again."Alison had somewhat recovered. "And imagine my surprise to come downstairs to find Peter balls deep inside you, whilst you were bent over the counter. I just couldn't resist.""Well," said Lucy. "We have the house to ourselves. Mark is on a trip and Katie has a hockey game this evening and won't be back until very late. I would suggest you get comfortable, and we can have some fun."Katie, Lucy and Mark's daughter was now twenty years old and had the looks of her mother. She was taller though having inherited that from her father. She was an avid hockey player and had enjoyed some success in the regional leagues."Great idea." Said Alison. "Peter, it's so good to see you again. The last time we met was great fun. Remember?"Peter remembered all too well. Alison had been visiting and they met on a walk. After taking shelter at Lucy's from a torrential rain shower, some fun and games had been had, ending up with Peter giving Alison a good spanking and a good fucking. Finally, Peter ended in bed with both Lucy and Alison. Great memories indeed."So, what's the plan? "Peter asked. His cock was still hard and precum was leaking from its bulbous head."Well, we need to take care of that first." Alison answered."I am going to clean up and prepare something to eat. "Said Lucy. "You guys have fun."Alison smiled. She beckoned Peter with her finger to come closer. Peter shifted a little toward her."So, what can I do for your soldier there? "Alison asked.Peter smiled. "Knock yourself out sweetie "I'm up for anything."Alison stood and faced Peter as he sat on the sofa, his cock standing straight up.She straddled Peter's thighs and lowered herself onto his awaiting shaft."Oh, I'm still a bit sore," she said as Peter's cock entered her."Go gently then." Peter said.Alison slid slowly downwards until Peter was fully inside her. She stopped to enjoy the feeling of this fat cock filling her up like never before. Her juices were flowing again, and she was leaking over Peter's balls and thighs.Alison rocked gently back and forth getting used to Peter's size, He wasn't more than average length, but the girth of his shaft was impressive.Alison's lips were stretched to the limit, and they massaged Peter's cock with every movement. The soreness that had been before made way for a warm satisfying fullness.Alison raised herself and gently let herself fall again. The friction made her incredibly aroused. Peter too was feeling his balls get tighter and tighter as Alison accelerated her movements.Alison slowed down again. Peter felt slightly frustrated as he had been building to the point of no return."We want to enjoy this and make it last a little longer." Alison said.Peter grunted. He was lost in the feeling, craving release.Alison started to increase both the depth and frequency of her movement. This time Peter bucked himself upwards to meet her downward stroke and slammed himself into her. Peter felt his cum rising. His balls became tighter, and he was determined to reach his climax now.Just as he was about to blow his load, Alison raised herself until only the head of Peter's cock was inside her. Some very tiny movements upward and downward, massaging the head of Peter's cock, drove him crazy. His cock twitched as he spurted his first load on cum into Alison. She slammed herself on to Peter until he was fully inside her. He was still coming, and Alison wanted to get him as deep as possible inside."That's it Peter. Fill me up. Oh, what a fantastic cock you have. Later I want it in my ass."Peter was shocked. He had never done anal before. However, Alison's dirty talk made him come even harder. He was soon empty but didn't want to withdraw from the warm sensuous pocket that was Alison's cunt.

We've all been there. Stuck, unmotivated, and unsure of what to do or where to go next. And just as we've struggled, we've also had to help others who can't seem to move forward. Whether you're a leader, manager, mentor, or just someone who wants to be more effective in tough conversations, knowing how to cut through resistance is a critical skill. People don't just fear failure, they fear success. Staying stuck, or just refusing to advance, feels safer than the prospect of higher expectations and the weight of added responsibility.  People are complicated, and it's not as simple as offering advice or motivation. Different personalities bring different sources of resistance, and pushing too hard, or in the wrong way, can backfire. So how do you actually help? How do you guide someone toward action without overwhelming them? In this episode, we break down the principles of managing these interactions so you can help them get out of their own way without getting stuck yourself. In this practical episode, Brett covers:  How to distill and discern why they feel stuck Scripts for open-ended questions that foster agency and self-discovery A framework for building a plan focused on securing the small wins first Tools to build and sustain momentum–and when to check in Why the victim mindset is so destructive and how to set boundaries to protect yourself SPEAKER SCHOOL – Are you someone who struggles with social anxiety? How about pitching more effectively in meetings? Maybe you're already on a speaker circuit but looking to sharpen your next message? Speaker School is built for you. This two-day immersive workshop isn't just another public speaking course. It's a live training experience where you'll get real reps and detailed feedback in a supportive environment with like-minded peers who have the same goal as you - to take a massive step forward. Best of all, you'll leave with proven tools and strategies to continue improving long after the event, so you're not just better for a weekend, but for years to come.

How do we live a life of meaning in today's challenging world? With the global pandemic amplifying feelings of disconnection and aimlessness, society is now grappling with how to transition from merely surviving to truly flourishing. Dr. Corey Keyes, a prominent figure in the field of positive psychology, explores these themes in his latest book, Languishing. But what does it take to move from a state of languishing to one of flourishing? In this episode of Tuesdays with Morrisey, host Adam Morrisey dives deep into this topic with Dr. Corey Keyes, a recently retired sociology professor from Emory University and a pioneering researcher on the science of flourishing. Dr. Keyes offers insights into why society's obsession with happiness might be misguided and outlines the essential elements that contribute to a meaningful and fulfilling life.Episode Highlights:- The Growing State of Languishing: Dr. Keyes defines languishing as the absence of positive and meaningful life aspects such as direction, meaning, contribution, and belonging. He notes that the pandemic has exacerbated this state, leading to a widespread sense of numbness and disconnection.- Overemphasis on Happiness: Society's pursuit of happiness, often at the expense of deeper fulfillment, is critiqued by Dr. Keyes. He emphasizes that happiness should naturally arise from a life filled with purpose and connection rather than being an isolated goal.- Ingredients for Flourishing: Flourishing involves more than just feeling good; it requires functioning well in areas like self-acceptance, purpose, personal growth, positive relationships, and social contribution. Dr. Keyes outlines five key activities for flourishing: helping others, continuous learning, engaging in spiritual practices, connecting with others, and participating in active leisure.Dr. Corey Keyes is a retired professor of sociology from Emory University and a leading figure in the positive psychology movement. He is renowned for his research on mental well-being and flourishing and is the author of Languishing. Dr. Keyes was one of the first to teach a university course on happiness and has dedicated his career to understanding the complexities of human flourishing.

Too many of us are apathetic, busy, languishing, overwhelmed, distracted, and fearful. We're afraid of disappointing people. We struggle with people-pleasing. We work in a frenetic, unfocused manner. And so today, I want to talk about what I believe is a counter-tactic: living a focused, consecrated life. This week, I sit down with one of my key leaders, Dave, whom you met in chapter 6 of my book and also here on the podcast in late March. This is an important conversation for the day and hour we live. If you're burnt out, distracted, and fearful, we want to give you a roadmap back to focus and back to life. If you're feeling demotivated and aimless, but you're not depressed, you might be languishing. But what exactly is languishing, and what can you do about it? Claudia Hammond talks to the sociologist Dr Corey Keyes, who coined the term. He has some solutions that could help you move from languishing to flourishing, as well as poetic descriptions of how nature inspires his work and hopeful tales about the search for meaning in the modern world. We hope that the many children currently going through exams across the country are flourishing, but exam success is far from the only influence on their futures. A new study shows that children who perceive greater household chaos at the age of 16 are more likely to have poor mental health by the age of 23. The most fascinating aspect of the research is that it involved twins living in the same household, and their perceptions of chaos were often wildly different. So what can parents do improve their children's perception of chaos? Professor Daryl O'Connor from the School of Psychology at the University of Leeds joins Claudia in the studio to look at the evidence. We also have the story of a survivor of child sexual abuse, who fell apart when a weekend away triggered memories of what had happened to him. He went to the police, and eventually his abuser was sent to prison. But the process of doing that destroyed his coping mechanism – to lock it away and ignore it. He tells us how the Salford-based charity We Are Survivors helped him put his life back together. He now encourages abuse survivors to seek help. Details of other organisations that can provide support are available at bbc.co.uk/actionline.And do you have an old friend you've lost touch with? Why don't you get back in touch? New research shows that we're often reluctant to do so. Claudia and Daryl dig into the detail and wonder whether it could even help us stop languishing.Presenter: Claudia Hammond Producer: Ben Motley Content Editor: Holly Squire Production Coordinator: Siobhan Maguire

Join us in the next Design Your New Life in Retirement group program starting April 26. __________________________ Today's Building Block: Wellness What will your life in retirement really be like? Will you flourish or languish? Our guest today is Corey Keyes, a renowned expert and author of the groundbreaking book Languishing: How to Feel Alive Again in a World That Wears Us Down. Corey explains what languishing is and the five essential "vitamins" for flourishing, derived from extensive research, offering practical strategies to improve well-being. Corey Keyes joins us from North Carolina. _________________________ Bio Corey Keyes is professor emeritus of Sociology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA where he held the Winship Distinguished Research Professorship. He was a member of the prestigious MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Successful Aging. He has been called on to participate in several U.S. National Academies of Science initiatives – “The Future of Human Healthspan” and improving national statistics to measure recovery from mental illness. His research introduced the concepts of social well-being, flourishing, languishing, the two continua model of mental health and illness, and his work is being used to prevent mental illness via the promotion of positive (flourishing) mental health. He has been selected to give several honorary lectureships, including the Dorosin Memorial Lecture for the National College Health Association, The Chesley Lecture on Aging at Minnesota State University, and the Anita Spenser Lectureship in Clinical Behavioral Sciences at McMaster University. _________________________ For More on Corey Keyes Languishing: How to Feel Alive Again in a World That Wears Us Down _________________________ Podcast Episodes You May Like The Mindful Body – Ellen Langer The Self-Healing Mind – Gregory Scott Brown, M.D. Chatter & Your Inner Voice – Ethan Kross The Power of Fun – Catherine Price ______________________ Wise Quotes On Flourishing and Languishing "....the good news is that flourishing is at its peak during what most of us would consider the first decade of retirement. So roughly between 60 to 74, it is at its peak and before you retire and throughout your adult working phase, it starts out pretty low in early to late twenties, but it's steadily increases and increases so that as you get settled into your career and become senior and established, you tend to on average leave your career on a high note. You're flourishing, but it gets better. And that's the point I want to make, that it's the first decade at least of retirement. People are doing really well on average. It's the problems that come with if we live long enough. And by that I mean roughly past the age of 75 plus and more and more of us are. We see a downturn in flourishing and an increase in languishing towards the end of life." On Activities That Promote Flourishing "... five of the activities stood out among people who were flourishing, who they did more of the following. They engaged in more forms of helping behavior. It might be volunteering, helping people, or even living your purpose. Go out there and help someone or help something in the world and make it better. The second vitamin, that flourishers did more of was that they connected, prioritizing warm, trusting relationships. Relationships where they had a sense of belonging, where they were part of a community and relationships where they mattered. And by that I meant they were needed. And in my measurement of flourishing, the sense of contributing worth and value to the world is baked into flourishing. So the second thing they did more of was connect around warmth, trust, belonging, and mattering. The third was they were very active in learning something new and prioritizing personal growth.

When you're languishing you may not be mentally unwell, but you're probably feeling low, directionless or undervalued, you might feel disconnected from others and like your life lacks meaning and purpose. He has recently published a book, Languishing: How to Feel Alive Again in a World That Wears Us Down, outlining his life's research into the components of a life well-lived and offering tips for how all of us can nudge ourselves closer to flourishing. I hope by the end of this episode, instead of asking people, "How are you doing today?" you'll be asking them, "What's causing you to flourish today?"
