In this episode I want to learn how to build an efoil myselft at home. A commercial efoil from companies like Lift or Flite are 10.000 to 15.000€ BUT the do it yourself (DIY) approach of Julian and Frank is below 1.800€ total cost (including the foil, which I already own as a wingfoiler :D). Zane Kekoa Schweitzer is a Hawaiian waterman and inspiring human being. In this interview he tells the story about wingfoiling jaws for the first time, what the ultimate waterman championship is, how he teaches his students wing foiling in a couple of days and how he talked Pete Cabrinha into handing him the first wing on the island. Growing up with legends of the surfing world like Pete Cabrinha, Robby Naish, Laird Hamilton, Gerry Lopez and many many more, he is not only a true waterman but also an inspiration. Sam Aben is a 17-year old Dutch allround rider (big air, kite wave, wing and kite foil racing) who aspires to go to the 2024 Olympics in kite foil racing. As a f-one and Manera rider who is going to finish his highschool his year he want's to dedicate his gap year completely to his training for the Dutch Olympics campaign.
