MIDI War is a Japanese MC/DJ. Her music career first started in 2004 in Osaka, Japan, where she was born and raised. She acted as MC for Hardcore Techno, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Breakcore, Dubstep, Grime and it was an instant success. Her performance molded into extreme/brutal style that impressed the crowds. She now plays over 80 parties a year all over Japan. Since 2007, she moved to Tokyo and joined Superbad MIDI Breaks, at this time she became a mo ther and decided to put aside her MC skills for a while and started DJing. In 2012, started organizing parties with SBMB crew called ‘’TOTAL DESTRUCTION’’ which featured artists such as Lenny Dee, AKIRA, Drokz, Hellish, Thrasher, Drumcorps a.k.a Aaron Spectre and Bong-Ra etc.. At the same time, they run their own label, launching underground music mostly from abroad. November 2018 marked a new beginning era for her, she’s becoming a freelance DJ which gave her take the opportunity to play in different music scenes. Her musical taste goes from Terrorcore, UK Hardcore, Speedcore, Frenchcore, Raggacore, Breakcore and Oldskool Hardcore. Watch out for her bad-attitude selecta of amen breaks, brutal kicks and heavy bass on the dance floor!

Aaron Spectre / Drumcorps is an American musician who creates electronic music across the emotional, sonic and instrumental spectrum, from dancefloor-slaying ragga jungle and breakcore to finely crafted grind/industrial/vocal music that he performs with guitar, synths and records everywhere from raves to grindcore festivals. Aaron's work transcends genres and could be described as what aliens would assemble from relics found after the dark side of the musical apocalypse. His most recent full-length Drumcorps release, "Falling Forward" is a masterful slab of songs that I liken to a rowdy pirate ship in the spirit of a cathedral like Nine Inch Nail's "The Fragile" which features a guest appearance from legendary drummer Iggor Cavalera. In this expansive podcast episode, host Christina Rowatt and Aaron Spectre discuss his history, music around the world (born and raised in the Massachusetts hardcore scene, he has also lived in Berlin, Switzerland, New York and is currently based in Amsterdam), art, evolution and the usual rambling adventures through the creative process. Enter the Void. The Void is also Christina's YouTube channel. Watch here: youtube.com/thevoidwithchristina

For this show we got a visit from Tha Fruitbat, reporting from Sacramento with a collection of originals and remixes. It's fast, hard breakbeat and electro — glitched, chopped, and beaten like the redheaded bastard lovechild of Si Begg, Aaron Spectre, and Audiovoid, having slipped each other GHB in the secretly shared hopes of setting off just such an unholy union. Don't picture it.

Berlin resident Aaron Spectre mashes up the place. Fact. Propelled along by a junglistic undercurrent, his sets have become something of legend, drawing on grime, hip hop, dubstep, ragga, punk, thrash metal and ear-pummelling breakcore. If this floats your boat, we recommend you check his excellent productions on Death$ucker and Omeko. This set was recorded at the Mega Bass Robo Orgy in London, June 2005. ^ Download flyer artwork for Mega Bass Robo Orgy
