Montana State rolled to a 98-66 win over Montana on Saturday in Bozeman. Following the game, Lady Griz senior Tyler McCliment-Call, freshman Avery Waddington and interim head coach Nate Harris addressed the media after UM fell to 6-9 in Big Sky Conference play, 10-16 overall.
Montana State exploded offensively on the way to a 98-66 win over Montana on Saturday in Bozeman. The 98 points is the most ever scored by MSU in the rivalry series.The Bobcats set the program record with an 18th straight win and moved to 15-0 in Big Sky play, 25-2 overall. MSU has won 15 of 18 against the Lady Griz, including 11 straight in Bozeman. Following the game, MSU's Taylee Chirrick (center), Esmeralda Morales (right) and KJ Martin along with head coach Tricia Binford addressed the media.
Montana won for the 9th straight game to stay atop the Big Sky standings by outlasting Montana State for an 89-85 win on Saturday night in Bozeman. Montana is now 13-2 in conference play, 20-8 overall. UM 11th-year head coach Travis DeCuire won his 221st game, tying Jiggs Dahlberg for the Griz hoops career record. DeCuire along with senior guards Kai Johnson (right) and Brandon Whitney addressed the media following the victory. Montana State fell to 10-3 at home this season and are now 7-8 in Big Sky Conference play, 12-16 overall after Saturday. MSU head coach Matt Logie along with senior Jabe Mullins and junior Patrick McMahon addressed the media.
Montana 11th-year head coach Travis DeCuire can tie the UM record for career wins with a victory on Saturday against rival Montana State. His next win will help him tie Jiggs Dahlberg for the most in UM men's hoops history.

Montana dominated Montana State in women's basketball for four decades under Robin Selvig's leadership. Since Selvig retired in 2016, the tables have turned significantly. Montana State has won 12 of the last 15 matchups between the two teams, but Montana won 72-50 in Missoula last year in their last meeting. Montana State has won eight of the last 10. MSU 20th-year head coach Tricia Binford is 20-21 all-time against UM. The Lady Griz will be led by interim head coach Nate Harris. After trailing for much of the first 30 minutes, MSU surged to an 85-70 win to advance to the NCAA Tourney for the 3rd year in a row. This is the first time the two teams have played since. The 309th matchup between MSU and Montana takes place Saturday night in Missoula. The Grizzlies lead the all-time series 156-152.
