Gearhead Consultants and Garage Hour hosts Justin Case and Marking Time met up high above the city to watch it all burn during our recent eclipsalypse.  Rounds were chambered, pizza from Sprouts was et, and beers from Red Leg, Pike's Peak, Outer Range and Dry Dock were sipped, but unfortunately, no pepperoni armed pajama perp apocalypse was thwarted, not even in the driveway.  Fortunately, Justin and Justmark didn't mind missing “shoot, shovel and shut up” because doin's were to be discussed: a positive word or three about hybrid automotive technology, the growing dumbness of nanny tech in cars, Eneos sneg for fun and kitchen, Van Café and LaRue for edible freebies, and Dude Food ala dove and grilled sirloin from Omaha Steaks. Don't forget the sauce: Led Zeppelin, free televisions, Gold Camp Road, apocalypse booze and getaway vehicles, some guns, historical eclipses, more electric car fails, and Chuck Norris.

His research covers Mesoamerica, the American Southwest, and the historical connections between the two regions. He is the author of numerous books and has presented lectures at the University of New Mexico, Yale University, San Diego State University, and numerous others. He most recently consulted on and performed in the Casagrandes Movie for Nickelodeon, which is now streaming on Netflix.@kurlytlapoyawaRuben Arellano Tlakatekatl is a scholar, activist, and professor of history. His research explores Chicana/Chicano indigeneity, Mexican indigenist nationalism, and Coahuiltecan identity resurgence. Other areas of research include Aztlan (US Southwest), Anawak (Mesoamerica), and Native North America. He has presented and published widely on these topics and has taught courses at various institutions. He currently teaches history at Dallas College – Mountain View Campus. We discuss the Foucault Pendulum Anomaly, where pendulums act very strangely beneath full solar eclipses, implying something is very wrong with Standard Model physics and the way it views gravity and mass and the interaction between them. For the last part of the show, we give an overview of the Missing 411 mystery, followed by several actual accounts of the missing persons.
