When they moved in, they had a verbal agreement that Ariel would pay 2/3's of the rent and Chris would pay 1/3 based on his income. Now, Ariel thinks they should be splitting the rent 50/50 and he disagrees. That wasn't what they agreed to last year. Ariel argues that they are equal on the lease, so they should equally pay now that they are no longer together. What do you think?
