What if generosity isn't something God wants from you, but something He wants for you? Many people approach generosity with hesitation. They hear the word giving and assume a financial ask is coming. They may wonder if generosity will lead to pressure, obligation, or guilt. But biblical generosity is not meant to be a burden. It is an invitation into joy, freedom, and deeper fellowship with God's heart. Todd Harper, co-founder of Generous Giving, has spent more than two decades helping people discover the joy and freedom of biblical generosity. Through Generous Giving's Journey of Generosity experience, he has seen countless people move from viewing giving as an obligation to seeing it as an opportunity. What Is a Journey of Generosity? A Journey of Generosity, often called a JOG, is a one- or two-day conversational experience designed to help people explore what Scripture teaches about generosity. As Todd likes to clarify, “There's no jogging at a JOG.” Instead, participants gather in a pressure-free environment to consider the biblical truth that “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). The experience includes teaching, stories, discussion, and reflection. Rather than focusing on fundraising, it creates space for people to think deeply and honestly about generosity. That pressure-free approach is central to the experience. Generous Giving does not ask participants for money during a Journey of Generosity. The goal is not to raise funds for an organization, but to help people encounter the beauty of biblical generosity. Removing the Pressure Around Giving For many people, conversations about generosity can feel uncomfortable because they assume there is an agenda. They expect that any teaching on giving will eventually lead to an ask. Todd understands that hesitation. In fact, he says Generous Giving has to repeat often that there really is no catch. After 25 years of hosting these experiences, the ministry has built a reputation for creating “no strings attached” conversations about generosity. That matters because when people do not feel pressured, they are more likely to engage honestly. Walls come down. People can focus on God's Word, listen to stories of real-life generosity, and reflect on what God may be inviting them into. Instead of asking, “How much do I have to give?” they begin asking, “What joy might God have for me in a more generous life?” From Obligation to Opportunity One of the most powerful shifts that often happens during a Journey of Generosity is the movement from “ought to” to “get to.” Many Christians know they should be generous. They believe giving matters. They may even give faithfully. But they can still experience generosity primarily as a duty, an obligation, or a sacrifice. Biblical generosity invites us into something deeper. God is not merely trying to take something away from us. He is forming us into people who reflect His character. He is loosening our grip on money and possessions so we can experience greater freedom, joy, and trust. As people hear stories of others living radically other-centered lives, generosity often becomes attractive. It begins to look less like a demand and more like an invitation. That change never gets old for Todd. He says one of the great joys of facilitating these experiences is watching people move from giving grudgingly to giving joyfully. God Wants Something Good for You For someone who is still hesitant, Todd's encouragement is simple: God wants something good for you. He recently facilitated a Journey of Generosity where one participant, who had walked with the Lord for 40 years, said the experience changed his perspective on generosity and made him want to lean in. That is the heart of biblical generosity. It is not about pressure. It is not about guilt. It is not about meeting someone else's agenda. It is about discovering the joy of participating in God's work with open hands. Generosity shapes our hearts because it draws us closer to the heart of God. Scripture reminds us that God Himself is generous. He gives life, grace, mercy, provision, and ultimately, His Son. When we grow in generosity, we reflect the character of the One who has given everything for us. Take the Next Step If you would like to explore biblical generosity in a deeper, pressure-free way, consider learning more about a Journey of Generosity through Generous Giving. This one- or two-day experience is designed to help believers think more deeply about generosity, faithful stewardship, and the joy of living with open hands. To learn more, visit GenerousGiving.org. On Today's Program, Rob Answers Listener Questions: I'm helping settle my mom's estate. Most of it in Ohio is resolved, but a small pension is going through probate in another state, where she passed away. The attorney sent paperwork asking me to waive my right to an estate audit. Is that normal, and should I sign it—especially given past financial misbehavior in the estate? Also, should I hire my own attorney to help me navigate this? I was scammed while looking for remote work online by people claiming to be connected with Temu. They had me rate items, then pushed my balance negative and kept asking me to add money. Now the account supposedly shows $25,000, but they won't let me withdraw unless I pay another $30,000. What should I do? I'm single and interested in charitable gift annuities. Can I set one up so a family member or friend receives income after me, rather than a spouse? I'm considering around $10,000. How would that work, and what should I look for? My husband and I were recently introduced to something called the Starfish program. Are you familiar with it, and how can we evaluate whether it's a good idea? I'm 68; my husband is 61 and still working; and my Social Security benefit is low because I was a stay-at-home mom for much of my life. Can I collect Social Security based on my husband's record, and how would that work for both of us? I used to be an over-packer, but then a 1-month trip to 3 countries and 12 cities converted me. I didn't want to worry about losing my luggage, nor did I want to pay $1,200 in checked luggage fees, so I decided to finally conquer the skill of "packing light".In the end, it worked out really well especially as we would have missed our return flight if we'd check luggage because our first leg was so late, there would have been no time to collect our bags and go through customs. We had to JOG from our international gate to our domestic gate and arrived with only minutes to spare. In this episode, I talk about my packing light strategies.NEXT WEEK06/04/2026 A Conversation with Mark Decarlo About Happiness in the WorkplaceRESOURCESPack Light Printable: http://tinyurl.com/bywdpacklightSeason of Self-Care: https://bywdreams.mailerpage.com/seasonselfcareWebsite:BYWDreams.comOur books: TinyURL.com/BYWDbooks

In this episode of the Exponential Australia Church Leaders Podcast, Charlie sits down with Martine Wilson (Generosity Path) and Nick Wood (The Bridge Church, Sydney) for an honest and practical conversation about generosity, money, and the mission of God in Australia. Martine Wilson serves as Oceania Regional Director with Generosity Path, helping churches and parachurch orgs across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific grow cultures of whole-life generosity rooted in discipleship and mission. In this conversation she explores why churches often avoid talking about money, how cultural messages of scarcity shape Christians more than we realise, and why generosity must be formed at the level of the heart - not driven by guilt, pressure, or fundraising agendas. She is joined by Nick Wood, Assistant Pastor and Discipleship Director at The Bridge Church, who shares how Bridge are intentionally discipling believers in this area of faith and embedding generosity into their broader discipleship pathway, including doing the Journey of Generosity (JOG) course in their Connect Groups in 2025.Generosity Path supports pastors and church planters through resources like the Journey of Generosity course (JOG), leader coaching, and practical church stories that help form joyful, open-handed disciples.

Let's talk about why speed work is essential to getting faster. Speed workouts are designed to increase your running efficiency, improve your VO2 max (which is your aerobic capacity), and train your body to run faster while using less energy. The goal isn't just to get faster during speed workouts, but to make you a stronger, more efficient runner across all distances. So, even if you're training for a marathon, incorporating speed work will help you maintain a faster pace on race day.

After 23 years of service, one can liken Jog into Spring to Opening Day here in Independence! It's an event born of heart + soul as a gift. A gift in memory of a local mother + teacher in support of local students - some of whom practice here at Studio 108. AND, you get to RUN!! Ashley and Breanna Roche sit with me today to tell the story of their mother and their family's non-profit organization that has organized this event - rain or shine - and mostly rain - for the past many years. The weather this year looks iffy but the love at this event is a sure thing! PS All who sign up to run with the studio receive a studio tank top. Please sign up for both the run AND the studio event via these two links: https://runsignup.com/Race/OH/Independence/JogIntoSpringwww.studio108.net/community-events

22-year-old Vladek Hasel was a well-known figure in his community. Local shopkeepers, employees, police officers, and countless other residents knew him well. Vladek was approachable and outgoing, always ready to strike up a conversation with anyone and genuinely interested in learning about their lives. He was the kind of person who, after hearing a server's story of struggling, would leave a $500 tip—while heading back to his own apartment to sleep on a deflated air mattress. However, in the Fall of 2021, something changed. Vladek began voicing fears for his safety. He went so far as to buy a knife and ask a friend if he could borrow a gun and then he disappeared. Bryan Vladek Hasel was 22 years old when he went missing from the Orlando, Florida, area in November 2021. The exact date of his disappearance is unknown. He is white, 5'8” with blond to light brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he weighed approximately 210 lbs. He was born in Russia but does not have an accent. A podcast to answer all your questions about productivity, time management, self-development and goal planning. My name is Carl Pullein, and I am your host for this show. So, 2024 is here. A New Year with a lot of potential new opportunities and plans. The challenge you will face (because we all face this challenge) is executing on all the ideas and plans you have for this year without a loss of enthusiasm or energy. And that will happen because no matter how well you have planned the year, things will not work out as you imagine. Some things will go exactly how you expect them to, but most will not. And that's the same for everyone. If you deliver all your plans and projects exactly as conceived, you are not ambitious enough to move forward. You're making things too easy. So how do you avoid the loss of enthusiasm and energy that you will need to see you through the year? Well, that's the topic of this week's question, so let me hand you over to the Mystery Podcast Voice for the question. This week's question comes from Carrie. Carrie asks, hi Carl, every year I get excited about all the things I want to do, and when it gets to February or March, I lose all my enthusiasm because I haven't done anything I had planned to do. Do you have any advice on avoiding this? Hi Carrie, thank you for your question and Happy New Year to you too. One thing I can tell you straight up is you are not alone. It turns out 92% of those who set New Year goals or resolutions have given up by 16th February. Only 8% manage to achieve some of their goals. This means we need to learn what those eight percent do that is different from the 92%. The first thing I discovered about the 8% is they have no more than three goals for the year. And those three are very specific. For example, they may have a financial, a physical and perhaps a career goal. And that's it. If we use these as an example, the financial goal is possibly the easiest. Imagine your financial goal is to save $5,000 this year. You can break that down into twelve months and send $417.00 per month to your savings account. On the 31st of December, you will have a little over $5,000 in it. On a task level, this is a 30-second task once a month where you send the $417.00 to your account. Now, if your finances are tight, you may have to review what you are spending money on and make some changes to what you spend, but the action to take is just thirty seconds per month. Physical goals can be a little more complex. Not everyone does exercise to lose weight. Some just want to improve their overall health; others would like to challenge themselves physically by running a marathon or climbing a big mountain. However, whatever the purpose or “what” the goal is, physical goals mean you need to find time for regular exercise. The essence of the goal is to find the time and do the exercise, and that will almost certainly achieve your goal. The difficulty with these types of goals is the starting point. If you have not exercised for a number of years and are not in great shape, it is going to be hard. This is like pulling a large truck. The hardest part of pulling a truck is the start. When the rope you are attached to takes the strain to get the truck moving, it takes an inordinate amount of strength. However, once the truck begins to move, it gets easier and easier. The difficulty then becomes stopping the truck. Starting an exercise programme is the same. It's incredibly hard to begin with. The first session's never that bad until you wake up the following morning. When you step out of bed, your muscles scream out in pain, and you'll wonder how on earth you will be able to repeat your exercise again today. The thing is, getting fit and staying fit is the same. It's all about turning up and doing the exercise. But it doesn't have to be the same exercise each day. Jog one day, walk the next. Then perhaps go for a swim or do some light weights in the gym on other days. Fitness is all about movement, so find time each day for movement. What I've discovered about fitness is that it's all about routine. It needs to be built into your day, and the time of day you do it needs to work for you. Once it becomes a routine and you get through the first fourteen days, it becomes much easier, and there's rarely any muscle soreness (and when you do get sore, you feel a sense of achievement because you know you had a good session the day before). What about a career goal? This is likely to be the most complex of goals. There are likely to be multiple different parts to it. Skills acquisition, experience and time are all involved. So, finding out what skills you need to move up the corporate ladder would be one task. Arranging a meeting with your boss or HR to discuss your goal would be a first step. Once you know what you need to do, you can then formulate a plan to make it happen. If you need to go back to school, then you can research how best to do that. Then you will need to find the time to study. Again, like exercise, this needs to be scheduled. You won't achieve educational goals by winging it. You need to set aside dedicated time for studying. A number of my coaching clients have dedicated days for learning. Two of my clients use the weekends for studying and taking courses or having coaching sessions. Saturday mornings seem to be the most common time for this, but it will depend on your own schedule. Just one piece of advice here, avoid Sunday nights. These are not the best times for studying. You'll be distracted by what you have to do next week and likely be tired from all your social activities. The thought of sitting down to study after an eventful weekend would be off-putting for most. Ultimately, if you want to successfully achieve your goals in 2024, then you will need to establish some habits and routines. This does not need to be overwhelming. You can do as much or as little as you feel capable of. For example, if you plan to read twenty-five books in 2024, that's one book every two weeks. If you spent an average of forty-five minutes reading each day, you would easily accomplish that goal. This means the only question you need to answer is, when? When will you do your reading? Perhaps you could include this as part of your morning routine, or instead of watching TV late at night, you read a book. I will confess that in the last six months, I have spent far too much time watching TV in the evenings. In 2024, instead of watching TV, I intend to read. I have already prepared a comfortable corner to read. It's a place Louis, my little dog, likes to cuddle up to me in the evenings, and I'm already looking forward to it. I will still watch TV. However, I have created a list of TV shows and YouTube videos to watch, and I have allocated Saturday evenings to TV watching. If I find I have the urge to watch something, I will add it to the list, and then on Saturday, I can open the list and choose from that list. What about daily and weekly planning? This is something that will bring you so many rewards. Having a plan for the week is a no-brainer for me. I know what happens when I don't have a plan. The week goes south very quickly and then I am in overwhelm territory just trying to keep up with silly little things. When I have a plan for the week, I am more focused. The right things get done, and I have the mental space to deal with the unknowns and urgencies of others without losing focus. This is something I would recommend to everyone. Make it a habit in 2024 to do both the weekly and daily planning sessions. This one habit will do so much for you when it comes to achieving your goals in 2024. One thing I must stress, though, is to keep your list of goals as short as you can. Two or three goals is about the right number. Any more than that, and you will be overwhelmed and unable to stay focused on what needs to be done. Remember, we are all a work in progress. You do not have to change everything in twelve months. Pick the two or three things that are most on your mind right now. I neglected my fitness in 2023, and regaining my fitness is my number one goal in 2024. Today, I will be heading out for a run, no matter what the weather is. It's the first day of the year, and it's not about how well or far I run; it's about re-establishing the habit of exercising each day. Get the 1st of January in the bag, and tomorrow I can do a few push-ups or go for a long walk. My goal in January is to do some form of exercise every day. I'm not worried about February right now. If I get through January having done exercise on 25 or more days, that's a result I will accept. It's not perfect, but it's 25 days of exercise—that's something to celebrate! I can then decide what I will do in February to maintain my momentum. And that's what setting and achieving goals is all about. You are not going to be perfect every day or week. But that does not mean you failed. It just means you had a bad day. You can pick it back up the next day or week. It's not what you achieve in one day; it's what you have accomplished over 365 days. (Or 366 days this year) So there you go, Carrie. Keep your list of goals short, and look for habits and routines you can build so that the action you need to take becomes automatic. And remember, just because you had a bad day or week doesn't mean you failed. You can pick yourself up at any time and get moving again. Thank you for your question and thank you to you too for listening. It just remains for me now to wish you all a very, very productive 2024.

JEFF MUSGRAVE Welcome to the PT on ICE daily show. I'm going to be your host, Dr. Jeff Musgrave. This podcast is brought to you by the Institute of Clinical Excellence. It is Wednesday, so it is all things older adults. So excited to be here with you today. So even if you're not treating primarily older adults, I think you're gonna find a lot of value in today's topic. So today's topic, we're gonna be discussing permission to succeed. So this is very common in the older adult space, but you're gonna see this in lots of different populations that you're gonna be treating. where because of the interactions that older adults or any of your patients on your caseload have had, they've got a very negative outlook on their ability to recover, their ability to return to the things that they love. I've seen this across acute care all the way into the fitness realm. and especially people when they first come to us in the fitness realm for training as older adults in stronger life, they will need some encouragement. They will need some reframing of what is possible and reframing of how they see themselves. So I believe that you will not get the person physically if you do not first get them mentally. You have got to build that confidence in between their ears. They've got to see and understand a path forward before you're going to get the body on board. So I would love to share with you today some tips to make that just a little bit easier. I think a quote that really sets the stage for this discussion is from Dr. Justin Dunaway. We love to quote him in the older adult division and one of our favorite quotes of his is, beliefs and expectations are the foundation upon which outcomes are built. Beliefs and expectations are the outcome are the foundation upon outcomes are built. So we really have to believe that it's possible. We've got to know our patient's beliefs and we've got to set the stage for them to be successful. So, because our older adults have heard, you've got the worst case of, insert diagnosis, bone on bone, you've got degenerative disc disease, they've heard all these nocebos or noxious language that strikes fear in the hearts of our patients. Whether they're older adults or not, you're going to see this in younger populations too, but we see it a ton in our older adult population. So I've got three tips for you today to try to help move patients towards a mindset that's going to allow you to be successful. ACKNOWLEDGE CONCERNS So the first one is acknowledge. You need to acknowledge their concerns. Our older adults come with some baggage typically. They've lived more years, more decades, they've had more injuries, and oftentimes they've been told more negative things than our younger patients. They've been told You can't get better, or you'll never do X, Y, or Z again. Jog, run, swim, lift heavy things, insert the favorite activity that they love that is part of the reason they're living their life. This happens all the time, unfortunately. So, we need to hear those concerns. If it looks like we're running into a barrier where they think they can't do what your job is to help them do, we've got to ask some clarifying questions. We need this information anyway. Why do you think it's not possible for you to fully recover from this back injury? Is it a bad experience with physical therapy? Is it negative expectations that have been set from another provider? Is it an experience a friend or loved one had? And then you get the opportunity to find out what was their bout of care like? What type of treatment intervention were they getting? Was it even appropriate? Was it the right movement? Was it at the right intensity? Was it across the right duration? Was there such a huge disconnect between what they actually wanted to do and what they were being asked to do? that they didn't see the connection, they never did their home exercise program. There is so much we need to know about why they have the negative outlook that they have. And then you get the opportunity after hearing everything, because if you cut them short in this phase, you will not get them. If you don't hear all their concerns and why, you can't give them the information they need to help them bridge that gap from I can't get better to oh, maybe I can get better. You don't have to completely change their mindset in one or two visits. Unlikely you'll be able to do that anyway. What you need to do is inspire some curiosity. You need them to be curious about the possibility of getting better. If you can get them from, I don't think it's possible, to now I'm curious, you've cracked the door open and created just a little bit of hope. you may be wildly successful with this patient. So, once you've heard everything, you get the opportunity to share some success stories. And you can say, man, I hear you. I know you've been told by this provider, and I can understand based on what you've seen, based on your imaging, based on your past experience, why you would be concerned that maybe you can't overcome this. but I've seen people in your condition with this diagnosis at your age, maybe even older, maybe even less healthy than you, get over this. It's gonna take time, it's gonna take hard work and consistency, but man, how would your life be different? If you could bridge the gap to a full recovery, what would you do differently? How much better would your life be? Let's just be curious. We've got time together. Let's do this thing. So I would call that step one. Acknowledge their concerns, ask clarifying questions, share success stories. have to do that first. Let them get it all out. You want to know every objection they have so that you can tell them why they don't need to be concerned about that. CRAFT EXPERIENCES THAT ENSURE SUCCESS The second piece, your job is to craft. Your job is to craft experiences that ensure success. There are two ways that we commonly do this with older adults that I assure you work with younger adults as well. The first one is make it laughably easy. In the older adult division, we call this intentional underdosage. This could be because someone is fearful, This could be because someone just has very low confidence. This could be because they're in unfamiliar setting or they've never done any weight training before. You're getting to set the stage for them. And you can do that by building successful reps. You want to make it so easy there's no way they can fail. Ramp it up a little bit. Let them be successful. Oh man, that's awesome. You're stronger than I thought you were. Ramp it up a little more. Ramp it up a little more. But what you don't want to do here is get greedy. If you get greedy as a clinician, I've done this several times, where you're like, man, I think they can actually deadlift 100 pounds, let's see if we can knock that off the list on day one deadlifting. And then they get scared, they get fatigued, or maybe you just misjudged it, and they can't lift that up, and now you've ended on an unsuccessful rep. You've shot yourself in the foot. So when you make it laughably easy, you intentionally underdose, make it easier than what you know they can do, you want to stop short of their maximal capacity. typically on that first visit, unless you're calculating an estimated one rep max, which is a whole nother topic. If you're already familiar with estimated one rep max testing, that is not the same as intentional underdosage. We're talking day one, building confidence, okay? So that's how we're going to, that's the first way we can craft an experience to ensure success is to intentionally underdose. The second thing that we're gonna do is test retest. We're going to show them that we can be successful. We're going to identify the asterisk sign, the comparable sign, whatever you want to call it. Doesn't matter. Especially when the primary concern is pain. Often with older adults it's function, but sometimes it's still pain. So I don't know, you know, the reason I'm here is because I can't get my arm up into the top cabinets anymore. I get shoulder pain. I get stuck. It hurts. Your job as a clinician, after you do your assessment, you figure out their range of motion, their strength, you've done a solid subjective, you ruled everything out, you've got a pretty good idea of what's going on, you're gonna give them some treatment, and then you're gonna retest, right? You need to make it very clear, you need very accurate measurements, and you need to tell the patient, here's where you got to. Man, that was about here, wasn't it? and make it really clear to them. You want them to remember that first measurement because what you're going to do is you're going to make them better. You're going to use your voodoo, right? You're going to throw your darts. You're going to do some manual therapy. You're going to do some exercise. You're going to put all those components of a solid treatment together and then at the end, you're going to knock their socks off, right? They thought that their shoulder could never get better. They've already been to PT several different times or it's been 10 years since this has been going on and you're going to show them. You're going to crack the door open on a successful recovery, just enough to at least make them curious. Test, retest. So when you craft that experience, you've got two solid options here. You can Intentionally underdose, if you're looking at a strength or a functional goal, or you're gonna use test, retest. Make it very clear, be very accurate on both measurements. Make it super clear, make sure it's your asterisk sign. You're gonna show them success. You're gonna give them the experience of being successful when they walked in the door and thought they could not be successful. FOCUS ON BELIEF CHANGE And then the third thing, once you've done that, you've still got work to do. You've got to focus them. You're going to have to focus them. You're going to have to refocus them throughout the entire bout of care. These beliefs go deep. They've been going on for a long time. You're going to have to chip away at those across the entire bout of care from the first interaction to the last one. Okay, especially if these beliefs have been long standing. So once you, the bedrock of changing their beliefs is giving them a successful rep and then reminding them of that success. You would think it would be obvious. There are so many client interactions where I did not do a good job of sharing. Remember, here's where we started. You can only slide your hands down to your knees when you came in and you had searing pain down your leg. And then they're at mid-shin, or maybe almost they're touching their ankles in the first visit. When that is their comparable sign, they're like, oh no, I moved that much. like you absolutely did not, but I did not make it clear enough what was going on at the beginning to show you how you progressed. So you need to make that painfully clear. After that, you need to remind them of their progress. Each visit, remember where you started. Remember where you started. The first day you walked in, you thought that it was going to be impossible to lift up this 10-pound weight from an elevated surface. You looked at that weight. You stared at it. You looked at me. You looked back at the weight. You were like, this is not happening. And then what happened? You walked up, you moved that thing. You got several reps. We even got up to 15 pounds that first time. You didn't think you could do 10. You thought that was out of reach. Now you're lifting 30 pounds. 30 pounds. You have had a 300% increase in your functional ability. Incredible. Now you're doing it off the floor. Think about how that opens up your life. How many things in your life weigh 20 to 30 pounds? Now you're doing it for reps. Think about all the things you can do now that you could not then. And the reality is, our patients aren't gonna have this nice, linear progression. So the third step on focus is going to be to share with them, these are a couple of my favorites I like to use, is progress is non-linear. We like to think it's just going to go up and up and up and every visit is going to be a smashing success. It's going to be the most you've ever done. It's going to be incredible. But that is not the case. We know that it's more like a good stock in the stock market. A really solid stock has got down days. and your patients are going to have down days. Medically, especially with older adults, they tend to be more medically complex. If you've got a progressive neurological condition, you've got someone with MS, and they're going through an exacerbation, there may be two weeks where there's flatline progress or reduction, but if it's still above where they started, you need to highlight that. Yeah, but we're not where we started, and we know this is going to end. And then we're going to start climbing again. And when we back up and look at this picture, it's going to be off the charts. When we back up, we've still got a solid line going up that day. So the other quote is, every day is not going to be your best day. Come in and give me what you got. That gives our patients permission to do what they can. And sometimes that is enough to crack the door open on a really solid recovery. I love this quote. Now, I'll share it with you. It comes from a spiritual realm, so I'll share that and then I'll give you the bit for it. So, a man with an experience of God is never at the mercy of a man with an argument. A man with an experience in God is never at the mercy of a man with an argument. So, if we reframe this around our patient's beliefs and expectations, their argument of I can't get better, we're gonna chip away at that by producing these successful experiences, building on success. We're gonna chip away at those beliefs. It's like, man, I know you thought you couldn't do it, but you've already done it. You're already someone you didn't think you were. SUMMARY And that's what I've got for you, team. So three steps to give your patients permission to succeed. One, acknowledge their concern. You've got to listen well, ask clarifying questions, know all the barriers that are in your way, and you're going to push those out of the way with success, stories of sharing how you're going to be different. Second thing is you're going to craft successful scenarios. You're going to ensure success, whether it's an intentional underdosage or test-retest. You're going to show them what they didn't think could be done. You're going to do it. Not you, they're going to do it. They're going to be the ones that are going to show themselves. those experiences, and then you're going to focus them on that success. You're going to focus on the long game, how their life's going to be different. You're going to be highlighting how those little incremental changes are going to change their life. And over time, you're going to change their beliefs, their expectations about themselves, and you will change the way they age. You will change their life if you can do those things. Team, if you've got other strategies, if you found any of these things helpful or you've got other strategies you want to share, I'd love for you to drop that in the comments. If you're watching this on Instagram. If you want to learn more about what we're doing in the older adult division, our next cohort of level one is going to start August 14th. Level two, the last cohort completely sold out. So just so that's on your radar. It doesn't come around as often, but that next cohort is going to be October 17th. I'm going to be in Houston, Texas this weekend. We still got some seats. If you're in the area, you don't want to miss it. It's going to be an absolute blast. Then the 22nd of June, we're going to be Charlotte, North Carolina. Then I'll be back in Victor, New York on July 20th. And team, after that, we're going to have an MMOA Summit the following weekend.
