The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which has conducted insurgencies against Turkiye for four decades, has disbanded and surrendered its weapons. This declaration follows a request from the group's incarcerated leader, Abdullah Öcalan, for dissolution as part of a proposed agreement by the Turkish government regarding his potential release. We ask Timur Tatwan, co-chair of the Democratic Kurdish Community Centre in Australia about the future of PKK. - Partiya Karkerên Kurdistan, ku zêdeyî 40 salî li dijî Tirkiyê serhildanek kir, xwe fesix kir û çekên xwe danîn. Ev eşkerekirin piştî wê yekê tê ku rêberê zindankirî yê komê, Abdullah Öcalan, wekî beşek ji rêkeftinekê ku ji hêla hukûmeta Tirkiyeyê ve ji bo serbestberdana wî hatibû pêşkêş kirin, daxwaza hilweşandinê kiribû. Gelo dê siberoja PKK çi be, ew pirsa û pirsên din ji hevserokê Navenda Demokratîk a Civaka Kurd li Australya Tîmur Tatwan tên pirsîn.

For almost 15 years, the situation in Syria has been tense. Many people hoped that things would improve and that peace would return to the country when the Assad regime fell. However, there have been civilian casualties recently as a result of heightened tensions in southern Syria. Additionally, there is still uncertainty surrounding the situation of the Kurds in Syria, especially in light of the agreement that SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi and Interim President of Syria Ahmed Shari'i reached on March 10. Dr Sarbast Nabi, a professor of political philosophy at Koya University in the Kurdistan Region, shares his views on the current situation in Syria with us. - Ev bû nêzika 15 salin ku rewşa Sûriyê bi her awayî aloze, lê piştî helweşîna rêcîma Essed xelkê hêvî dikir ku rewş baş bibe û aramî li welêt çê bibe. Originating from Los Angeles, GELO brings a unique blend of West Coast rap and trap, with "LAW & ORDER" serving as a narrative on the complex relationship between street life and law enforcement in LA. The track quickly garnered attention for its authentic storytelling and gritty beats, earning praise for the dynamic synergy between GELO and Plaqueboymax. It debuted at #72 on the Billboard Hot 100 and saw a notable performance on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart, reflecting strong genre-specific appeal. Linktree: https://linktr.ee/AnalyticIn this segment of Notorious Mass Effect, Analytic Dreamz explores the transition of LiAngelo Ball, or Gelo, from basketball to a burgeoning music career. Born November 24, 1998, in Chino Hills, California, Gelo's basketball journey was notable but fraught with challenges, including a collegiate stint at UCLA cut short by a shoplifting incident in China. After going undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, he ventured into music with "Tweaker," released on January 3, 2025, under Born to Ball Music Group. This track, with its early 2000s Southern rap vibe, similar to Big Tymers, quickly became a viral sensation, especially after a snippet was played on a Kick livestream with streamer N3on. "Tweaker" not only dominated cultural conversations but also became an anthem in NBA and NFL locker rooms. On Spotify, it debuted at #149 globally with 1.32 million streams and peaked at #24 in the US, while on YouTube, it garnered 4 million views on WorldStarHipHop, trending above major artists. The song's catchy lyrics have turned into memes, with phrases like "swerve bend that corner" becoming cultural touchstones. Its influence extends to live performances, with Gelo scheduled for Rolling Loud California 2025. Despite no physical sales, its digital success positions it among the top streamed rap songs globally. Analytic Dreamz discusses how "Tweaker" taps into nostalgia, offering a fun, feel-good energy that resonates with fans, highlighting Gelo's potential to carve out a significant place in music, demonstrating his versatility beyond the basketball court.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/analytic-dreamz-notorious-mass-effect/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
