Now, faced with the impossible, they're all given a second chance. But as their new realities become clear, a deeper mystery unfolds, and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.FBI (CBS)From Emmy Award winner Dick Wolf and the team behind the "Law & Order" franchise, "FBI" is a fast-paced drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Not taking no for an answer, Max disrupts the status quo and proves he will stop at nothing to breathe new life into this understaffed, underfunded and underappreciated hospital -- the only one in the world capable of treating Ebola patients, prisoners from Rikers Island and the president of the United States all under one roof -- and return it to the glory that put it on the map. When the parents in the group meet Will, a 30-something guy who's been so focused on raising his daughter that he's lost sight of who he is as a man, they see just how far down the rabbit hole of PTA, parenting and princesses he has gone. The friends decide to band together to get him out in the dating world and make him realize that being a great parent doesn't mean sacrificing everything about his own identity.A Million Little Things (ABC)It has been said that friendship isn't one big thing, it's a million little things. That is certainly true for a group of friends from Boston who bonded under unexpected circumstances. Some have achieved success, others are struggling in their careers and relationships, but all of them feel stuck in life. After one of them dies unexpectedly, it's just the wake-up call the others need to finally start living. Along the way, they discover that friends may be the one thing that can save them from themselves. The Cool Kids (FOX)"The Cool Kids" is a comedy about a rowdy, rag-tag group of friends living in a retirement community who are willing to break every rule to have fun, because, at their age, what do they really have to lose? Hank, a gruff, opinionated, 21st-century Archie Bunker who will go to any lengths to have a good time, is the leader of this motley crew. His loyal -- but less than helpful -- friends include Charlie, a bumbling storyteller who constantly goes off on tangents about some bizarre and barely believable episodes from his life; and Sid, a naysaying, pill-popping hypochondriac who shoots down every scheme but still gets roped in. Complicating matters is Margaret, a brash, confident woman who forces her way into their group and refuses to leave because she's not going to take crap from anyone -- especially not these three. But what unites them all is their shared belief that they're not done yet -- not by a long shot. Growing old with dignity is for chumps. His twin sister doesn't share his exceptional mind, but she has a much clearer vision of what life has in store for the young genius. Jim Parsons, who plays the adult version of Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory," narrates. The Good Doctor (ABC)Shaun Murphy, a young autistic surgeon who has savant syndrome, relocates from a quiet country life to join the surgical unit at the prestigious San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital -- a move strongly supported by his mentor, Dr. Aaron Glassman. If a cop was walking up to my carwith his gun drawn, would I be justified in defending myself with deadly force?Frank Fontana, I robbeda bank once.Updated Oct 30True Story...I was driving oneday when I started to be tailed by a police car. At a certain point the lightsstarting flashing and I pulled over. It was only then that I realized that Iwas being tailed by 1/2 a dozen cop cars. When I stopped, I had the windows upand the radio on. I heard some voices and realized the cops were yelling at me.By the time I got the window down, they were irrately yelling; “HANDS OUT OFTHE WINDOW.”One officer approached my car gundrawn, held high and tight to his body. He grabbed my left hand and asked thatI slowly remove the keys from the ignition and hand them to him. After doingso, he asked that I exit the vehicle. At some point I remember looking up andseeing the inside of the barrel of his gun, this I did not like.Once out of the vehicle, I waswalked to the rear of my car and frisked while two officers had their gunsdrawn and a third had a taser. They next asked to search my car.Once they were satisfied that Iwas not a threat they explained to me that a bank was just robbed and my carmatched the description of the getaway car.Very early on in this ordeal, Ihad two thoughts.1. Theyobviously are looking for someone, else. I doubt me speeding would elicit thismuch attention.2. Ireasonably believed I could get shot. I had no idea what was on their minds, and while I own and handle guns, I can't stress how much I disliked seeing theinside of that barrel. My gut feel was to be ascompliant as possible to eliminate giving them a reason to shoot. Wholeincident took 5 minutes and I now have this interesting story to tell.My condolences to the family ofDeven G…but here is how not to act in such a situation.

http://searchforschlock.com/media/podcasts/sfs-060-SwordAndTheSorcerer.mp3 Download MP3 We've seen Brain Smasher...A Love Story and we've seen Captain America, but we decided to give director Albert Pyun one more chance anyway and watch what is perhaps Pyun's most well-regarded film. (Sorry, Alien from L.A.) This one is a fantasy epic about a guy with a sword that's really three swords, and it shoots swords out of it. It's every bit as awesome as I just made it sound. Also along for the ride is Bull from Night Court and Frank Fontana from Murphy Brown, or as we call them, "The Dream Team." Original post located at searchforschlock.com.
