What if the key to real freedom is the very thing your flesh resists most—dying to self? In this dynamic Campus Days 2026 session, Mike & Carrie Pickett reveal why the greatest enemy to truth is often our love for self—and how that mindset keeps us stuck, anxious, and limited. But there's another way: a life where the Word defines reality, not feelings, circumstances, or the world's opinions. Discover why there's actual joy in laying down your self-life! If you're ready to stop being held hostage by old mindsets and start living truly free in Christ, press play and let this message reset your perspective. On this Freedom Friday, we discussed our right to freedom from spiritual bondage, through Christ our saviour. We had Dean VanderMey join us to discuss the importance of understanding our right to spiritual freedom through Christ, so long as we confess our sins and forgive others. Dean VanderMey is the Executive Director of Set Free Ministries. He has expertise in. Then we had Lana Silk join us to share an update on what’s happening in Iran. Lana Silk is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Transform Iran, a Christian organization that shares the gospel in Iran. Lana passionately works to help bring freedom to the people of Iran through ministry and humanitarian aid. The Law vs. The Label: Staying Free in Christ"So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law." — Galatians 5:1The Battle for the MindI've been reading and studying the book of Galatians and really thinking about what it means to have complete freedom in Christ. When Paul wrote to the Galatians on Christian liberty, he was addressing a specific crisis: legalism. Judaizers had entered the church teaching Gentile believers that they had to obey the Old Testament Law—specifically circumcision—to be truly saved.Paul wrote to settle the score on:Works vs. God's GraceTrue Freedom vs. Religious SlaveryThe Power of the Holy Spirit vs. The Desires of the FleshNew Life in the Here and NowWhen we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are made free and new. We don't just look forward to an everlasting life in heaven; we get to partake in an abundant life on earth here and now. We are called to walk in the very "newness of life" Paul describes in Romans 6:4:"For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives."This abundant life will have challenges and trials. I bring this up to remind you of your responsibility to develop a total dependence on the Lord. It is through these challenges that we grow and become spiritually mature. From Bondage to VictoryThe word "freedom" means so much to me because I know what it feels like to be trapped in bondage to the attacks of the enemy. But I also know what it's like to see those chains of oppression fall in the name of Jesus, never to return.Your freedom in Christ is secure when you put your faith in Jesus and make Him your Lord and Savior. We await a hopeful future when Christ will return to fully restore all things—a life where every tear is wiped away (Revelation 21:4-5), where sin no longer rules, and every broken Read the rest at: https://open.substack.com/pub/litwithprayer/p/the-law-vs-the-label-staying-free?r=5sajy&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true

Romans 6:11 — Should a Christian fear death? In this sermon from Romans 6:11 titled “Free in Christ,” Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones reminds the listener that those who are in Christ will never taste spiritual death and that is one of the most comforting truths for a Christian. Paul explains in Romans 6:11 that Christians can count themselves dead to sin but alive in Christ. Dr. Lloyd-Jones points to several key truths in this verse: the whole relationship to sin has changed; sin no longer has dominion over the Christian, even though they have contact with sin in their bodies; they are no longer under the law and its condemnation; and the dominion of death no longer remains. A Christian no longer sins as a slave, but sins voluntarily as a free person. Not even the devil himself can make a Christian a slave to sin and its consequences. Christians are indeed dead to sin's realm, rule, and reign.

In Romans 8:1-4, we have the glorious proclamation that IF we are in Christ, we are no longer under condemnation, but have liberation in Christ, propitiation through Christ's sacrificial death for sin, and sanctification through the work of Christ and the Holy Spirit's power in our lives.
Curious about how God's promise to Abraham impacts us today? Listen in as Pastor Steve explains from Galatians 3:15-29! God's Word reveals how this ancient promise truly unites all believers, Jew and Gentile, in Christ. Our Great God makes no distinction among sinners when it comes to salvation!

TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible, where each day we journey together through the pages of Scripture. In today's episode, host Hunter invites us into Proverbs chapters 4 through 6 and the powerful truth found in Romans chapter 8. We'll reflect on the call to pursue wisdom, the promise of God's transformative love, and what it means to live free from condemnation. At the heart of today's reading is a message of hope: no matter our brokenness, nothing can separate us from the love of God revealed in Christ Jesus. Join us as we spend time in prayer, gratitude, and encouragement—reminding ourselves and one another that we are deeply loved by God and invited to walk in the fullness of His resurrection life. So, grab your Bible and let's dive in as we set our hearts on wisdom, freedom, and the unbreakable love of God. TODAY'S DEVOTION: God does what our bodies cannot do, and God achieves what our sinful natures fail to achieve. At the beginning of Romans 8, we hear: “So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body, God declared an end to sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.” There are just some things that cannot be done on our own, try as we might. We and our world are too broken, and to us, it might seem beyond repair, beyond redemption, or hope. But not to God. All things are possible with God. God sent us Mister Hope himself, his Son, in a body like ours. And through Jesus, God brought us the life he shares with the Father and the Spirit—a vision for what our lives can be as we walk in his Spirit. Resurrection life is on offer to us—right here, right now. A life not just someday, but a life of hope, peace, joy, kindness, and grace. A life free. You are loved by God. He has united himself to you, just as you are, in his Son. And there is now no separation—not from your circumstance, your shame, your failings, not from anything in heaven or earth. That's the promise in Christ: there is no separating you from that love. Now, because of what Christ has done for you, you are invited to live into that love, to live in and through Christ by the Spirit. Let his life in you find fuller expression today in everything you do. That's the prayer I have for my own soul. That's the prayer I have for my family, for my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's the prayer I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Loving God, you have knit us together in the body of Christ from every nation and tongue. Make us a vessel of your peace today. Make us a vessel of your peace today. Where hatred stirs, let us bear your love. Where wounds run deep, let us be agents of pardon. Where fear grips hearts, may we speak faith. Where sorrow hangs heavy, May we carry joy. Teach us to listen more than we speak. To understand before we are understood. To love. For in surrender, we find abundance. In mercy, we discover grace. And in dying, we rise into your life. In the name of Jesus. Amen. And now as our Lord has taught us, we are bold to pray: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
