Chosen Out of the World is where Christians stand as per our Lord. Read John fifteen, verses eighteen to twenty-three. Yet as many believers know today's America is far from the saving grace of #God. Many of these proudly find themselves standing. The question is asked of everyone, just where do they stand. How many times on social media do we see examples of these young generations screaming at those who disagree with them. The Onus today is on these people to dig themselves out of their pathway of delusion. Yet, they cannot; they need God's #grace, and the #deliverance found in knowing #Jesus #Christ as their #savior. It is here where the #Truechurch of #JesusChrist stands and all #Christianbelievers; to simply bring the #TruthofChrist and the #deliverance, #healing, and #love that is offered to each of them. #ChosenOutoftheWorld
Not everything you do is necessarily the right thing. You may have friends who are a bad influence on you, or maybe you're battling an addiction that's difficult to overcome. Today, Pastor Ricky tells you that staying close to other Christ followers will help you in your walk with God. Instead of hanging out with people who are indulging in sin, you can choose to seek out someone who has a strong relationship with God. That person can build up your faith in Jesus and help you get back on track.
You've been given the freedom to do what you like. You can choose what you want to eat or what you want to watch. But have you ever thought about the fact that your actions create an influence on others as well? Do you ever wonder if a particular habit of yours glorifies God or not? In today's message, Pastor Ricky tells you how to create guidelines for your life. Instead of doing whatever you like, you can choose to do the things that would glorify God and help others around you to grow in their faith in God.
Colossians 2:6-17
Most people today view religion as a set of rules and regulations they have to keep, but this is not the message of the New Testament. We are told to let no on judge us in what we do or don't do, as well as not to judge others who are weak in their faith or understanding. The law was given to set people apart for God's purpose, but we have a better covenant now in Jesus Christ. We are not under the curse of the law anymore, so why would anyone want to go back under it? Jesus has set us free so that we can live free in Him. Don't go back to slavery or abuse freedom; rather let faith, hope and love abound.
Join Pastor Hank Meadows this week as he explores the freedom that can only come from submitting to Christ. Thanks for stopping by!
In the Western world, we have been conditioned to crave freedom and break free of limitations. However, such thinking will only result in anarchy and confusion. In our efforts to be set free from all constraints, we find ourselves ironically enslaved to the one thing that we did not expect – our own desires. Ultimately, we are still enslaved. Given our sinfulness, being enslaved to our desires leads only to sin and death. True freedom is being set free to be who we are designed to be in God. In other words, true freedom as the Bible envisions is freedom to obey and worship God. In Romans 6:1-23, Paul declares that we are no longer enslaved in the realm of sin and death. We are set free from our slavery to sin and raised to new life in Christ. His story has become our story. Through Christ's work on the cross, we are alive and free in Christ. Therefore, in Christ, we are truly free – free to obey and worship the God we love.

As the 4th of July approaches, we celebrate our freedom as a country and as individuals. As we consider the blessings of freedom, it's also an excellent time to reflect on what it means to be free in Christ. So, what is biblical freedom, and what does it mean when the Bible says, "For freedom, Christ has set us free" (Galatians 5:1)? On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Focus on the Family's project manager, Emerson Collins offers insight into what freedom in Christ and freedom from sin truly mean.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Billy Joel says, "I would rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints." This is a line in "Only the Good Die Young" that has always intrigued me. This would mean that living for God is a life fully of mourning, sorrow, and pure misery. The Apostle Paul does not command us to weep, but to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. In fact, as a Christian we would say that living for God is the source of our joy. In this sermon we consider what it means to live for God and discerning what pleases him.
This is the day that everything changed. Jesus walks out of the grave victoriously with our freedom in hand. We are called to live in this same freedom and walk in it. Listen in as we see how to be set free in Christ. thebridgebluffton.com
BACK TO GALATIANS – Free in Christ means ALIVE in Christ. You and I have been made free, but not free from responsibility, but free from enslavement to SIN, the DEVIL and this WORLD. We are now slaves of the perfect master, our friend and savior Jesus Christ. We are freed to SERVE, and freed to LOVE, and freed to actually GET ALONG with each other. As we WALK in the Spirit, we enjoy an entirely new kind of LIFE, known for its joy, peace, kindness, service to others and love. READ Galatians 5 – the entire chapter in preparation for this Sunday, focusing on Verses 13-18.
Regardless of how many times you've heard the gospel, every Christian needs to be reminded of how God's grace relates to our faith and our obedience. We tend to believe we can earn God's favor by keeping his law, on the one hand, or else we abuse his grace by using it as an excuse to live how we want. In this message from Galatians 3, David Platt helps us understand the relationship between God's grace and God's law. The gospel reminds us that Christ has obeyed the law in our place and died to take the punishment we deserve. Therefore, the blessing of God comes to us freely by grace through faith.

Today's Promise: Galatians 5:1 Jesus set you free. It's as simple as that. You are no longer a slave to your sin, selfishness, fear, or past failures. As a free person in Jesus Christ, never allow anyone to put you back under the law of bondage. Unfortunately, even though we live in a free country, many people still live in bondage to their hearts. They live as slaves to their fear, failures, and desires. However, Christ freed you to live in a loving relationship with Jesus.
Pastor Kyle Worley preaches from Romans 8:2–4 on the freedom we have, in Christ Jesus, from the law of sin and death.
Butterflies are a stunning picture of the new life you have in Jesus. The old has gone, and the new has come! That is reason for celebration.
