Maybe you grew up in a church that boiled the Christian life down to a list of do's and don'ts. And after you went out there and gave it your best shot, you were left frustrated and discouraged, as you simply didn't measure up! Today on Abounding Grace we'll discover that Jesus has set us free from that sort of burden. Instead He calls us to a life of faith and belief. Pastor Ed Taylor focuses on just a few verses today in Romans chapter eight. And they are verses 2-4. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111
As we turn back to Romans chapter eight, we encounter a glorious truth. There is incredible freedom to be found in Jesus and the gospel of grace. We're released from the burden of trying to live up to a standard, we could never reach on our own. Instead, God has done all the heavy lifting for us. And when we realize it's all done by Jesus, we can simply embrace it by faith and be thankful! To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/302/29?v=20251111
Following your heart means so many things to everyone. Freedom is following a light that you are getting to pursue without thinking about it. Tony talks a parasite in your mind of negative talk that judges everything you do. Fear is what the mind can create. This episode touches on who you are surrounding yourself with. If you have people that expect you to do what is expected is one thing but we actually feel bad when we think we want to do what we want. It's like we feel guilty to go against the grain. If you feel obligated and move in the direction of other people's expectations of you. Spirit sees humans as being too serious. There is no time to be silly or whimsical we have the perception that we need to buckle down and get serious when it comes to working or achieving something. This episode goes into the ingredients of what it takes to manifest your desires by lightening up and just expect the Universe to provide. Those that work long hours and struggle to make progress believe that it is the only way achievement can happen and they are right...for them. Energies rise to the level of your belief. Paul uses the analogy of sowing and reaping to summarize all his warnings, corrections, and instructions that he has presented throughout the letter, concluding that living free in Christ is to do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Spirit reminds us that we are free-spirited beings and our given right when we are born is freedom. Yet we are born into a system for the masses where we are given just as much freedom as others will give us. It is a subtle hand of control and it is conditional. In this podcast we explore what it is like to be free and have limits at the same time. As long as we stay within the lines we are allocated some measure of freedom but it comes at a price. This episode goes on by saying we as humans have come to this earth to push the envelopes and the limits so others can follow and hopefully their journey will not be so challenging. Our most basic freedom is to react in the way that is best. We have the freedom to think and react as we raise our consciousness. If you are looking for more answers on this topic listen in and discover more about the source in which your brain is talking to you in this podcast. This Meditation only podcast channel with Tony and his Tuning Forks: https://raisingyourspiritsmeditation.buzzsprout.comIn the meditation portion of this podcast we used the Sunlight Meditation: The Eye of the Storm - 1150 Hz Meditation For safety reasons we ask that you not listen to the meditation portion of this podcast if you are driving or operating any machinery as the sounds and frequencies will place you in an altered state. Wilderness experiences are times where the believer is led by the Spirit of God into times of discomfort and trials. The gift of the wilderness is important because it is where we reach the end of self and find dependency on God alone.
God is not afraid to keep you needy because it has always been His plan to meet every one of your physical, emotional and spiritual needs. The enemy uses self-centered rebellion as a trap to get us to try and meet our needs ourselves instead of relying on our great Heavenly Father.
The enemy wants you to agree with his lie that this feeling of fear means that you are in big trouble and no one is coming to help you! God wants us to respond to feelings of fear by taking courage and trusting Him to come through.
Being near to the heart of God helps us to have real, tangible confidence that God is everything His Word promises us. The enemy wants us to feel trapped and isolated in our sin. But God wants to be near to us, and all we need to do is turn and repent. He is right there waiting with open arms.
Life has a way of loading us down with stress, disappointment, and unforgiveness. Each moment feels like another rock tossed into the rucksack we carry. Before long, the weight slows us down and keeps us from running the race God set before us. In this episode of Walking in Command, Pastor Anthony unpacks 1 John 4:20–5:3, Hebrews 12:1, and Matthew 5 to show us how to: Lay down bitterness and anger Walk in obedience and discipline to Christ Forgive those who've wounded us Trade the heavy rucksack of life for the light burden of Jesus The true test of sonship isn't in what we say but in how we treat those who've hurt us. Get the rocks out of your rucksack—and discover the freedom of walking in command.

Comparison is a dangerous trap designed by the enemy to keep us feeling prideful, envious, frustrated, and hopeless. God's desire is to give us contentment through an understanding of our identity in Christ and His love and acceptance.
We have a real enemy that uses accusation to try and keep us from trusting in the love of Father God. God will provide discernment to us when we ask so we can distinguish His voice of truth from the lies of our accuser.
If you've ever found yourself in front of a judge, being “let off with a warning” is a good thing. But what if, in addition to letting you go without consequences, the judge hands you a very generous gift? Turning to our study, do we undervalue the freedom from guilt offered to us? Let's explore that question. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
You've seen it, right? Someone trying to push a beach ball under the water? Regardless of how much effort is put into it, that beach ball will find its way back up. Could it be that we do the same thing with guilt? And is there such a thing as good guilt? We'll wrestle with these questions in this study. Psalm 130 Learn more about your ad choices. The trap of overindulgence is designed to get us to take any tangible gift which God has given and overemphasize it; the enemy wants you to make the gift your god. The Father wants you to enjoy all of the good gifts He gives you, as well as having all the moderation you need to enjoy them and not let them have mastery over you.
Envy is a dangerous trap of the enemy that can eat away at our spiritual health. God wants us to lean into Him for contentment, peace and joy rather than coveting what others have that we think will meet our need.
Self-pity wants to draw comfort, value and help from others instead of going to Father God for these things. You can choose to follow Jesus out of a life of slavery to self-pity and into the freedom of reliance on God.
Unforgiveness is a snare the enemy is using to keep many Christ followers from living out their joyful purpose. We are meant to live free and then bring freedom to others that are bound up in sin.

The big guy is in a great mood today as he continually steers the Ouija board to sprinkles, silly trans people, retarded lesbians, and drunk women crashing their golf carts.
We need to talk about the fire but God controls Fridays and he wanted us to focus on immigration. Apparently, we're going to see a lot more serious consequences from our open borders. God also wants Gavin to check in on his childhood pal.
It's the last Serious Tuesday before the holidays so we need to catch up on 2 Live jews, Carry On, The Madness, the NYYR gala, Gavin's "profanity-laced tirades," the mysterious drones, Hannah Kobayashi's dead dad, Roger Avery on J6, Justin Trudeau's faggotry, the fall of Britain, Derek Heggie's Islamophobia, autistic trans kids, Michael Conahan's Cash for Kids scandal, Biden's pardon, and a massive update of our Terrible Black Female Politicians.
Gavin and Anthony recap Atlantic City, animals having consciousness, and the apparent alien invasion.
Before we get to the God Wheel, we look for Christmas card volunteers, honest tourism, and the new “uneducated” criticism MAGA Extremists are getting. Then, God encourages us to mock feminists, examine incompetence, and have a good laugh at Joy Reid's smoke detector.
