Sarah Desmarais is the guitarist and vocalist for the Massachusetts-based band, Fucko. Sarah also works in marketing for America’s Test Kitchen - which is something I learned early in the conversation and it wound up steering the beginning of the episode. Sarah and i discuss what it’s like picking up an instrument (guitar) a little later than folks typically pick it up and start noodling around.
