If there was a huge asteroid hurtling toward Earth threatening to destroy life as we know it and you could see one more show before you die, what would it be? It can be anything you want - a show you've seen before, one that you wish you'd seen, or something you've made up entirely. What would be YOUR Last Show on Earth? This is the podcast in which we ask a special guest the big, BIG question that nobody ever needed or bothered to ask. Our guest this episode is Joanne HarrisJoanne Harris OBE FRSL is an award winning bestselling English-French author, who is probably best known for her novel Chocolat which was made into an Oscar-nominated movie starring Johnny Depp and Juliette Binoche. [YouTube Video Version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDLBkQ8kTeA] We are joined by the dynamic cast of Hunted & Confronted on this powerpacked episode! Not only are we adjusting to our new operating system, but we're also flooded with callers in this edition, as we dig deep into the pedophilic epidemic sweeping America. Jesse Weeks, Suzanne Baker and Gina Beck all bring their unique perspectives and talents to the table when we delve deep into this much needed discussion. With over 38 confirmed arrests and over 188 cases nationwide, as well as backing from law enforcement, the team definitely has their work cut out for them. These aren't your average day, arm chair researchers that have been looking into the Pedogate phenomena, in fact, it's quite the opposite, these are the boots-on-the-ground people that the mainstream media and big tech giants love to censor and forget. They provide references, history and experience to an ever-growing issue within America, as well as the world. From things like pedophilia, to human trafficking, to child sex trafficking, prostitution and more, all of this stems from the dark underbelly of society that's being normalized. Merely days before this broadcast was recorded, a three-day long sting operation called Operation Reclaim and Rebuild netted over 300 people, in California! What seems like conspiracy theory and hyperbole becomes conspiracy fact while we break down this issue and more. The systemic predatory nature of sexual deviants and perverts has become commonplace, tolerated and accepted, and it's this type of wickedness that this team exposes! Gina Beck is one of British musical theatre’s best known sopranos. She played Cosette in the 21st Anniversary cast of Les Miserables, did two years as Christine in Phantom of the Opera, played Glinda in Wicked for two years in London before joining the US Tour and is now playing Miss Honey in Matilda - a part she auditioned for just six weeks after having a baby. Gina said she was worried she wouldn’t have any fun stories to tell but, as you’ll hear, that just isn’t true. There’s the time a wigs mistress was sent on a quest for eyelash glue for Patti LuPone and the dinner with Andrew Lloyd Webber where she was too scared to eat anything in case he asked her a question.
This week’s guest is actress Gina Beck. Gina’s big break came in 2008 when she joined the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera as Christine Daee. Her subsequent theatre credits include the West End productions of Wicked, Les Miserables and Show Boat. Gina’s current role finds her back in the West End as Miss Honey in Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin’s critically acclaimed musical adaptation of Matilda.
Join David as he chats to MusicalTalk favourite Gina Beck about her role in the classic Showboat - now playing at the New London Theatre.
I love you, you're perfect... but whose line is it anyway?: David Herzog talks to Gina Beck and Simon Lipkin about starring in I love You, You're Perfect - Now Change - now playing at the Above The Arts Theatre in Leicester Square, and Nick joins David to share their enthusiasm for the very first ever West End outing of the classic British improv TV show - Whose Line is it Anyway?. Why you ask? Because they improvise a lot of songs on stage!
