In today's devotional we're going to explore the connection between faith and living an unveiled lifestyle. There is so much life, peace, and joy for you if you will join God in the work he is doing, and has already done in your life. May your faith increase today, and may your experience of God's presence deepen as we create space to seek God together. Our Scripture for today comes from Hebrews 10:22, and today's worship is Give Me Faith by Elevation Worship. -- I hope your faith is stirred in response to God's faithfulness today. So much of the life God has for us is accessed by faith. I pray that God fills your heart every day with new measures of faith in him, and that your life is marked by all the wonderful, miraculous gifts he gives us every day when faith opens our heart to receive them. Have a wonderful rest of your day, and may God bless you as you seek him.
Today we're wrapping up our week on faith by looking at the power of faith. Trusting in God changes things. Faith is powerful. As we're going to discover today, when we choose a lifestyle of faith, our life shifts and comes in greater alignment with God's desires, his kingdom. May God fill our hearts with faith, and may our lives be filled with the fruit of trusting in our good and able God. Our Scripture for today comes from Hebrews 11:30. Today's worship is Give Me Faith by Elevation Worship. -- This month kicks off an extremely important season at First15 — a time when your partnership and prayers are deeply needed. First15 has just launched a $216,584 Summer Initiative with the goal of connecting thousands more people to God and igniting their hearts for him. And today we're asking for your support to make that possible. Support the Summer Initiative You know the power of daily time connecting with God — the hope, clarity, and peace we find in his presence. And we're so grateful for the opportunity to encourage you in your faith with First15's free devotional resources. But to keep these resources freely available and take them to more people than ever before requires a fresh outpouring of support from friends like you. That's why we're really excited to share that some amazing friends who know the power of a deepening relationship with God have offered to match your gift today, up to a total of $20,000. This means your gift will now DOUBLE to have an even greater impact! And the impact you can have in people's lives is what excites us the most, because we're sure you agree that changed lives can change our culture. So please give generously to help meet the $216,584 Summer Initiative need — and lead more people into God's presence each day. Because when he gets a hold of our hearts, God always changes lives!
Standing in the gap is a form of intercessory prayer where our prayers bridge the gap between God and people who are cut off from God's helping presence. When we stand in the gap in prayer, we pray for God's help, mercy, intervention and forgiveness on the behalf of individuals, groups of people or nations. Agreeing to pray for someone isn't simply a nice platitude letting them know we're thinking of them or a pat on the back to cheer them on. When we tell someone we'll pray for them, we agree to put on God's armor and head to the front lines of battle on their behalf. Many ancient shields had brackets attached to the sides. These brackets were a type of latch that soldiers used to lock their shields together during battle. When locked together, the soldiers moved as one, forming a barricade against the enemy. Alone, the shield was a small defense. Hooked together, they were a human wall. When we lock arms in prayer with our friends, we lock our shields together and form a strong wall of defense. That's what we can do for each other. God is HONORED by your persistent, consistent prayer!
Your imagination is under attack! Your enemy wants you to focus on ANXIETY instead of living with ANTICIPATION for what God can do in your life and through your life! Your enemy wants you to focus on the FACTS, on your FAILURES, on your FEELINGS. But we need to ask God to change our minds so that we can have the faith to believe! It's time to recapture your imagination by walking by FAITH! Change the way you THINK and you will change WHO YOU ARE! Pastor Erik continues our journey through the Book of Genesis as he dives into chapter 15. This is one of the foundational GOSPEL passages in the Old Testament, and yet many Christians have probably never heard much teaching on this chapter.
Pastor Erik continues our journey through Genesis as we dive into chapter 14. How do we know when to act and when to wait? How do we live a more generous life? Why do tooth fairy's collect teeth?? These are the tough questions Pastor Erik dives into!
Abraham was asked to leave Lot behind. Often in our lives, we will need to leave a Lot behind in order to walk by faith as we follow God!
So what happens when we take a step of faith and things don't go the way we think they should? What happens when we follow God's call but the Promised Land is actually a Famine Land? That's what Pastor Erik explores as we continue our series "Give Me Faith" and as we dive into the second half of Genesis 12.
Pastor Erik kicks off our new series "Give Me Faith" as he dives into Genesis 12:1-9.

How many of us feel as if we only see what's right in front of us? We fail to see what's farther ahead? We forgot to fix our eyes on the big picture, to remember God's promises. That's fixing our eyes on the unseen. We can't base everything off of our physical vision, we need more. MUSIC // Give Me Faith is written by Chris Brown, London Gatch, Mack Brock, and Wade Joye

Sound doctrine should lead to right behavior, and in Titus 2:1-10 the apostle Paul gives specific instruction for various groups within the church. While it can be counter-cultural to modern ears, Paul's direction finds its foundation in the gospel itself and highlights the behaviors that make not only families strong, but creates churches that point an unbelieving world to Jesus. 1. Teach sound doctrine (v. 1) a. Older men (v. 2) b. Older women (vs. 3-4a) c. Younger women (vs. 4b-5) d. Younger men (v. 6)2. Be an example (v. 7-8) a. After the Passover meal, Jesus and his disciples went to a place called Gethsemane, where Jesus was greatly distressed and troubled at his impending death. Though abandoned by all, Jesus sought not his will but the will of his father. The disciples' failure to stay awake reminds us that, though our spirits may be willing, in our flesh we are weak. 1. It was a night of agony (vs. 32-34)2. It was a call to commitment (v. 34b)3. It was a night of determination (vs. 35-36)4. It was a display of weakness (vs. 37-42)5. When the disciples are unable to help a man's son who is possessed by a demon, Jesus calls upon the father to have faith and believe. The father acknowledges his spiritual weakness and asks Jesus to give him faith. Rather than chide him for his unbelief, Jesus responds to his cry. 1. The absence of faith (vs. 14-19)2. Isaiah is often called the model prophet - not because of his accomplishments, but because of his faithfulness and obedience. Isaiah's ministry kicks off with precise model of how to live out the implications of Jesus in our lives. Within Isaiah's calling in Chapter 6 - our typical definition of success will be challenged and we will gain an understanding for the kind of faithfulness God is looking for in us. 1. Understanding ourselves (vs. 1-7)2. Understanding how to define success (vs. 8-12)3. Understanding the master plan (v. 13)SONGSCall Upon The Lord #7051501 by C Brown and S Furtick2015 © Be Essential Songs Who You Say I Am #7102401 by B Fielding & R Morgan2017 Hillsong Music Publishing Give Me Faith #5680939 by M Brock, C Brown, L Gatch, & W Joye2009 Elevation Worship Publishing'Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus #5373600 by W J. The Pharisees demand that Jesus give them a sign from heaven to confirm his identity. However, Jesus has already demonstrated who he is and the one with an open heart should recognize it. When we struggle to believe, we should ask God to soften our hearts and give us faith. 1. The hungry are fed (vs. 1-10)2. The self-righteous get nothing (vs. 11-13)3.
