Do you need change? Do you want to change? Are there things in your life, maybe habits, attitudes, behaviors, and you know these things need to change? You know they're not good for you or the people around you. Yet change seems so fleeting, almost impossible. I want to encourage you today; you can change, and it begins with giving your heart and your life to Jesus Christ. Begin a journey with Him. Continue your journey with Him. Listen to this promise. The Lord is spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. When you give your life to Him, you receive His Spirit, His very presence. And what is the result? You begin to reflect His glory, and you are transformed into His likeness. God is in the business of changing us. This is a promise for you. This is Wendy Palau. radio.hopewithgod.com

#0100 (Series: The Life-Giving Word Of God pt.10 - John 14:15-24) – In this episode, we learn that obeying God's Word, by His Spirit, is the key to our growth and transformation, as well as experiencing more of God's Presence! You can leave a comment, ask questions, and find show notes for this podcast episode at http://tekoa.media/0100ENTER OUR LISTENER APPRECIATION GIVEAWAY AND LEARN THE DETAILS AT: TEKOAPROJECT.COM/GIVEAWAYCheck out our other podcast, Truth That IgnitesScripture from this episode:John 14:15-24 ESV – 15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. 18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24 Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me.Romans 8:1-4 ESV – 1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. 3 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, 4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.1 John 2:24-27 ESV – 24 Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he made to us—eternal life. 26 I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you. 27 But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.Jeremiah 31:33 ESV – 33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.1 John 5:3 ESV – 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. This podcast is a ministry of Mike Lawrence and The Tekoa Project. Enjoy all of my work : http://AlexanderBell.org • So, which would you rather have? Your ego and all of it’s conflicting and complicated thoughts, or the mind of Christ, filled with his beautiful light? Because you have the choice, just like I had. Long ago I chose the mind of Christ, and have been patiently unpicking the tendrils of the ego from my being. Eventually, you will come to the final tendrils; the more deeply conditioned ego desires for something other than God’s will. Our total and complete surrender to God’s will is the end of the ego, which means the end of fear also. The ego has nothing left to cling to, because it only holds on to you with the desires that it places in your heart. These are like its roots, which give the ego a foothold in your being. It makes you desire things other than union with God, and thus union with God does not occur, and you remain yoked to the ego. Eliminating ego desires is how you loosen its roots. When they are gone, and simply doing God’s will is your only desire, the shadow of the ego simply falls away from you and you join with God. What remains in you is the light of Christ.

ABOUT GOD - PART 17 | Why talk about the holiness of God? How will that help us with finances, marriage struggles, or other issues we may face in life? Gary Wilkerson exhorts Christians to study and understand the holiness of God because it will transform your heart and greatly impact every area of your life. Our theology, or our understanding of God and his holiness, will greatly impact all areas of our life. Holiness is not something God tries to do or him behaving in a certain way. Holiness is who God is. It goes far beyond moral purity. God’s holiness reveals all of his other attributes in their greatest glory. At the cross, the justification of Christ on the cross imparted God’s holiness to those who believe. God doesn’t grow or shrink back in his holiness. He is fully, infinitely and perfectly holy at all times. Understanding and receiving the imparted holiness of God goes beyond behavior modification to transforming your heart’s motivations. In a world with so much pain, suffering, hostility, stress, and anxiety, how is it possible to experience life to the fullest? If you read the news headlines or scroll through social media, we're stuck seeing the worst of humanity on a daily basis. The outlook looks pretty grim, but is there another way? Joining the show today, is author, Brandon Andress. In his new book, Beauty in the Wreckage: Finding Peace in the Age of Outrage, Brandon sets out to give us a different way to look at things. If he’s right, his message is just what we need right now. In the book, Brandon makes the surprising discovery that, even in the heartache, the hostility, the division, the violence, and the oppression, experiencing “life to the fullest,” a life of shalom, is not just possible, it can be our present reality. But in order to discover it, we must learn how to see and live differently—moment by moment—for the transformation of our lives, our families, our relationships, and our communities. Most of us are no stranger to suffering, but it's how we respond to that suffering that has the chance to change us for the better. Brandon shares personal stores about the transformative nature of suffering and the necessity of finding shalom. It's a wonderful soulful chat that you won't want to miss. Come along for the ride as we skewer through life, culture, and spirituality in the face of a changing world. www.SnarkyFaith.com Brandon Andress is the author of three books: Beauty in the Wreckage- Finding Peace in the Age of Outrage(2018) AND THEN THE END WILL COME!
