There is an answer to the hopelessness, anxiety, and depression that you have encountered. Andrew and Wendy Palau have experienced the pain of loss and guilt but have had their lives restored by God. Now they want to share with you the joy and peace they

Have you ever worried that following Jesus would mean losing what makes you unique? Actually, the opposite is true. Jesus restores you to who you were created to be—He helps you discover the truest version of your unique self, in Jesus. Jesus encouraged His followers when He said, “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.” So, He doesn't erase your uniqueness—He wants to shine through it. He gives purpose to your gifts and to your talents. And He brings freedom from fear, and joy that lasts through difficult days. Jesus wants to give you life to the fullest. If you want that, you can pray to Him and just ask Him, “Jesus, I give You my life. As I learn to follow You, make me the person that You created me to be. And thank You. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Matthew 5:14 radio.hopewithgod.com

Who is Jesus to you? There are so many voices telling us what to think, what to believe, what to do—unending ideas about God and Jesus. Confusing voices. Do you feel confused? Jesus asked His friend, Peter, a simple question in Matthew 16. Maybe He's asking you this same question, He said, “Who do you say that I am?” Peter answered: “You are the Christ, the Savior, the son of the living God.” What about you? Do you believe He is your Savior? Do you believe that He is the Son of the Living God? If your answer is yes, then your next step is so clear. Follow Him. It's simple, come to know Him and discover Him. Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Is anything holding you back from choosing to follow God today? You may have believed that God would want you to clean up your life before coming into His holy presence. Jesus once said, “Healthy people don't need a doctor—sick people do. I have come not to call those who think they are righteous, but those who know that they are sinners.” A doctor doesn't wait until the patient is healed to help them. In the same way, Jesus doesn't wait for perfection. He wants to meet you right in the messy places of your life and begin healing you from the inside out. Don't hold back because of shame, fear, or feeling you're “not good enough.” We're not good enough, none of us. That's why Jesus came. He gave His life so we could be forgiven, restored, and made new. Today, you can pray, “Jesus, I can't fix myself. I need You. Take my life and make me whole.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Mark 2:17 radio.hopewithgod.com

Jesus said that we should love our neighbor as ourselves. Think of how much we love ourselves! Jesus is commanding us to care as much about others as we do our own needs and desires, and longings. This seems impossible to me. It is impossible! Even the most servant-hearted person, the most sacrificial person, will care more about their own needs than those around them. Jesus knows this, which is why He came. He came, and He laid down His life. He cared more about us than Himself. This truth changes us. When we receive it, when we believe it, He gives us the power to really love others— to care about their needs. Have you received this truth today? That He came for you? Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Matthew 22:39 radio.hopewithgod.com

Everywhere we look, there are rules and limitations. Maybe you've thought following Jesus is just like that: a bunch of rules. But that's not what Jesus came to bring. He came to offer a relationship—not a rulebook. Listen to the words of Jesus: “...I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.” Life with Jesus isn't about rules and punishment. It's about staying close to Him. Like branches connected to a healthy vine. Jesus longs for you to know Him, and to walk with Him, to let His love nourish you. That's freedom, not burden. So today, maybe you're tired of trying to “be good enough.” You don't have to prove yourself. You can simply turn to Jesus and say, “I want to know You. Please forgive me. I give You my life.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Has your heart hardened over time? It can happen to any one of us. God has this promise for you today, if you want it…He says, “...I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.” This can seem impossible and scary… but it is good, and it is possible through Jesus. On the cross, He carried our sin; through His resurrection, He offers new life, transforming us from the inside out. He did it for me—and He will do it for you, if you ask Him. A new heart doesn't mean instant perfection; it's a journey. If you want it, pray with me now: “Jesus, I need a new heart. Remove the stubbornness and defensiveness from inside me. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and teach me to follow You with a tender heart. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Ezekiel 36:26 radio.hopewithgod.com

What is your “why?” Why do you live, work, love? You might have a very clear “why.” You might have a multi-faceted answer. For many of us, our “why” is many things—many desires and longings. Can I tell you something that's true? The God of the universe—the One true, supreme, creator God—sent His Son to the earth. He lived a perfect life. He died a painful death on a cross. But He is more powerful than death. And He is alive! And He did this for you. You are His “why.” Every human being on the planet is His “why.” The Son of God came. He gave. He poured out. He served— He laid down His life. Maybe today, He should become your “why.” Always remember, there is hope with God. "For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost." Luke 19:10 radio.hopewithgod.com

Life can feel like a storm, can't it? The Bible, God's book of truth, promises this, “...we who have fled to him [that means Jesus] for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls.” At the cross, Jesus secured our forgiveness; when He was raised to life, He offered us unending life. And this is His promise: if you're anchored to Him, you will not be alone in life's storms. Do you want to take hold of God and allow Him to anchor you? Start now by praying with me: “Jesus, be my anchor. Thank You for offering me life through Your death on the cross. I choose to fasten my hope to You. Hold me steady, teach me Your ways, and help me to know You. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Hebrews 6:18-19 radio.hopewithgod.com

Are you like a child? Children are amazing. Children are trusting, they're vulnerable. They believe what we tell them. Jesus calls us to be like children when we come to Him. He calls us to be humble, to humble ourselves, to trust Him, believe Him, obey Him. Not to be childish or immature—but to be childlike, to be full of wonder. The beautiful thing is that when we put ourselves in the hands of Jesus, we understand that He is a good father. He won't abuse, He won't take advantage of us. He will never leave us. He's calling you today. He's a good Father. And He's saying, Will you put yourself in My hands? Will you come to Me like a child? Always remember, there is hope with God. Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 18:3-4 radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you ever achieved something great, I'm talking about a major accomplishment, and then felt strangely hollow? Jesus understands that ache. He told His friends this, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” He's not talking about literal food or water; He's talking about nourishment that feeds our soul, bringing purpose, forgiveness, and love to our lives. Do you want to feed your soul with the bread of life? He loves you completely, and He wants to satisfy these longings. Pray with me now: “Jesus, I've tried to satisfy my heart without You. And now I come to You, and I ask—will You feed my soul, forgive me of my sin, and teach me to walk with You? In Jesus name. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: John 6:35 radio.hopewithgod.com

You ever set goals to improve your life, only to end up watching those goals gather dust? What if there was a better way to change? A follower of Jesus named Paul wisely said this, “...I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Real transformation isn't just about your own willpower; it's about Jesus' power alive in you. He offers forgiveness for the sins of your past, and strength for today through His Spirit. That includes strength to succeed as well as strength to endure hardships and persist through failure. Do you want this? If so, you can pray: “Jesus, thank You for Your death on the cross and Your resurrection life. Come live in me. Take over. Give me strength to do what pleases You and keep me close when I stumble. I put my trust in You today. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. I'm Andrew Palau. radio.hopewithgod.com

What is your treasure? The most valuable thing that you have in life? Jesus told a profound story, and He's told us that the kingdom of Heaven, which is Him- knowing Him, is like a treasure that is hidden in a field that a man found. And with joy, this man went and sold everything he had, and he bought the field. Jesus tells us that this is what God's kingdom is like. This is Jesus! Knowing Him—being a part of His family—being His child is a treasure. A treasure that can never be lost, and it's worth giving up everything to have. You are His treasure. He gave up everything to be close to you, to know you. You are His treasure. Is He your treasure? Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Matthew 13:44 radio.hopewithgod.com

Do these “what ifs” keep you up at night? Fear can control our minds and shrink our lives. But God speaks this promise over you: “...God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” He faced these exact fears that we face—sin, death, separation from God—and He overcame them on the cross. Because He rose from the dead, we can trust that fear does not have to rule our lives. Walking with Jesus doesn't mean you'll never feel afraid; it means that fear doesn't get to be the boss. If you're ready to trade fear for His peace, pray: “Jesus, You know my worries. Thank You for dying and rising again for me. Fill me with Your Spirit—with power, with Your love, and Your truth. Teach my heart to trust You. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: 2 Timothy 1:7 radio.hopewithgod.com

Do you feel lost? Have you wandered away from the life that God offers you? From the hope and healing that He can give? There is a beautiful image in the Bible of Jesus describing His compassion and kindness for those of us who are lost. He says that He, Jesus, is like a man who owns a hundred sheep, but 1 has wandered away. This man will leave the 99 sheep who are safe and go looking for the one who is lost until it's found. And when He finds that one? He rejoices! My friend He's looking for you. He loves you. He's calling you. Today, come home to His compassion, His forgiveness, His kindness. He's looking for you. You are precious to Him. Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Matthew 18:12 radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you ever had to find your way through a thick fog? Will you let this promise from God cut through the haze? “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Jesus promises to guide you if you're willing to listen. He will walk the road with you if you ask Him. He laid down His life to bring you back to God, and He rose from the dead to offer you unending life. Following Jesus looks like—praying before deciding, inviting God to speak to you, and taking the next step that He shows you. Do you want this friendship? Pray with me: “Jesus, I've made my own plans long enough. Thank You for the cross and for Your love for me. I put my life in Your hands. Teach me to listen to Your voice and walk in step with You. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Proverbs 3:5-6 radio.hopewithgod.com

What is your foundation? What are you building your life around? Jesus told this story long ago, and it's true for you today: “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents…and the wind beats against that house, it will not collapse because it is built on bedrock.” What is that rock, that firm foundation? It's Jesus. Do you want to build your life on Jesus, the only strong foundation? If so, pray with me: “Jesus, I don't want to build my life on the sand. Thank You for dying for me and rising from the dead. Be my solid rock. Teach me Your truth, help me to become Your friend, and hold me fast when the storms of life come upon me. In Jesus' name. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Matthew 7:24-25 radio.hopewithgod.com

Isaiah 53 tells us that we are all like sheep that have gone astray. Every one of us has gone to our own way. Which way have you gone? Maybe your wandering has led you to a very dark place in your relationships. Maybe you have habits that are destroying you, addictions that are hurting you and the people you love. Your story isn't over. You are a wanderer. But God loves you. He loves you so much that He laid your life and your wandering on His son, Jesus, everything you've done wrong. Come home today. Come to Him. Stop wandering. Turn your eyes away from these things that are destroying you. Ask God for forgiveness, for healing. He loves you. Always remember, there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau. radio.hopewithgod.com

Does life ever feel to you like a heavy backpack that you just cannot set down? If you feel that way, if that's what life is to you, listen to this wonderful invitation from Jesus: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Following Jesus looks like handing Him each burden, one by one, and learning His gentle way. Do you want that kind of rest? You can receive it now. Pray with me, “Jesus, I am exhausted. Thank You for carrying away my sin and my fear. I give it to You, happily, take the weight—my past, my worries, my plans. Teach me Your gentle way, and give my soul real rest.” Put Your trust in Jesus. He will meet you right where you are. Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Matthew 11:28 radio.hopewithgod.com

What are your goals? Do you want to be great? Famous, wealthy? Do you want your name remembered? We all want our lives to matter. We want to be seen and known. We want to be respected. We want to be remembered. The interesting truth about this desire is that Jesus offers greatness to us, but not in the way we think. Not greatness as defined by the systems of the world. He offers a different way because He's a different God. He says, “Come and follow me.” In Matthew 20, He says, “Whoever among you wants to become great must be your servant…” He gave His life for you and for me. How could we not see true greatness as being willing to serve others? Will you let this truth change you today? Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Picture yourself at a crossroads at dusk— it's two roads crossing, and you're not sure which one leads to home. Life can feel like that. Jesus had something to say about our choices: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction…But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life...” Jesus isn't trying to scare you; He's inviting you to choose a new way. A new way of life! The wide road promises freedom but ends in emptiness. The narrow road is following Jesus Himself. He conquered death when He rose again, and now He's leading us into eternal life. Choosing His road looks like trusting Him with your steps, even when you can't see the whole picture. Would you like this? You can pray: “Jesus, I choose Your way. Forgive me. Help me to know You.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Matthew 7:13-14 radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you ever wished you could start over—wipe the slate clean as freshly fallen snow? Today, God is offering you this chance. The Bible promises, “...anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone and new life has begun!” He's offering you forgiveness right now. What does it look like to begin again with Him? It means turning from the old path that you've been on—the behaviors and ways of living that you know deep down are hurting your own heart, and those around you—and trusting Jesus day by day—talking to Him, listening to His voice, letting His Spirit guide you and take over your life. If your heart is saying “yes,” then pray with me: “Jesus, I need Your mercy. Thank You for dying for my sins. Make me new today, and help me to follow You.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: 2 Corinthians 5:17 radio.hopewithgod.com

Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind. I'm not sure if you're like me, but this commandment feels impossible! To love an unseen God in this way. Jesus knows this, and I am so grateful that He knows this about me. He knows this is an impossible commandment, which is why He came. He loved us with all of Himself. What kind of love would have the God of the universe lay down His life for people—people who didn't even love Him? He loved us first. He loved you first. Because of this… because of this beautiful act of love, we can love Him, and we can truly love others. Always remember, there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau. radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you ever wondered, “What is the point of following Jesus?” You may have even heard someone say, “Believe in Jesus so you won't go to hell.” That's part of the story, but the Good News of Jesus is so much bigger! And it's not just about the afterlife. It's also about the now-life! This is how Jesus described eternal life when he was praying to God, His Father…He said, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” Eternal life is not just about where you go when you die—it's also about knowing God now. Following Jesus is about a relationship of love, forgiveness, and it's about hope. And it can begin today, and it will last… forever! You can begin right now by praying, “Jesus, I want to know You. Please forgive me. Help me to start now, this eternal friendship with You.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

There was a young man in the Bible. You can read about him in Matthew 19. He came to Jesus, and he asked Him, “What good thing must I do to get eternal life?” Jesus told Him to sell all he had and follow Him. The man walked away sad because he was a very rich man. You see, this man obeyed the rules. He wanted to know what he could do to have life. But Jesus understood that his wealth was the most precious thing to him. So he went away empty. What's your first love? Often, it can be a good thing. But, Jesus says “I want to be your first love. Release what you think is giving you life…it won't last, it won't satisfy you. I offer you true, authentic, eternal life.” Always remember there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you ever been asked to believe something that seems… impossible? Maybe you've heard the story of Jesus, being born as a baby, dying and then being raised to life. I wonder if you've ever thought that faith means shutting off your brain. Jesus never rejected honest questioning, even doubt. He met it with compassion. After Jesus rose from the dead, one of His own disciples—Thomas—struggled to believe that it really happened. In the book of John, in the Bible, we see that Jesus said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, look at my hands. Believe!” Questions don't scare Him. In fact, they can lead you to deep faith as you seek His truth. You can simply pray and say, “Jesus, You know that I don't understand so many of these things. But I want to know You. Show me the truth about who You are. Fill me with faith. And thank You. In Jesus' name, amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Every great story has a pivotal moment. And the greatest story ever told had its turning point on the very first Christmas. The Bible, God's book of truth, says in Luke 2:11, “The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!” Think about that. God, the Author of life—the big story of EVERYTHING—wrote Himself into His own story. And He didn't stay distant. He didn't give up on us. He walked among us, healed the broken, forgave sins, and gave His own life so that we could have a chance to live forever. This Christmas, you can enter into God's story—you can run into His outstretched arms and receive the gift of life that He's offering you. It starts with a simple conversation in prayer. You can say, “Jesus, I believe You came for me. I choose to follow You.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Are you depleted and empty? Exhausted? Maybe people rely on you, and you feel like you're ready to give up or run away. Jesus' friends were in a similar situation. They faced a large crowd of very needy people; they had come to see Jesus to get help and healing from Him. And now, added to their needs was physical hunger. Jesus' response was unexpected. He said, “You give them something to eat.” They had only a small amount of food, they gave it to Jesus. Jesus gave thanks, broke the bread. He gave it back to them. And they were then able to feed thousands of hungry people. What do you have? Your time, your energy, your resources. Give it to Him! He will do the miracle in your life, and He will do the miracle through you. Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Do you ever feel like Christmas today has become just too busy? What if it became the life-changing event it was always meant to be? That's what happened for a few shepherds long ago on the hills of Bethlehem. The Bible tells us that, “The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard. It was just as the angels had told them.” Their encounter with Jesus—just a little baby, but also the Living God— it changed them forever. Christmas isn't just about traditions or festivals. It's about Jesus—God Himself, entering into the world that He made. This Christmas, you can experience the life-changing joy of knowing Jesus personally. Right where you are, you can pray, “Jesus, I don't want to miss You this Christmas. Come into my life. Forgive me once and for all. Be with me, and change me.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Serving others is very hard. Putting others before ourselves. In fact, serving isn't very popular. The systems of the world tell us to fight for what we want, what we need, what we feel we deserve. That we must put ourselves first. This is not the way of Jesus. In fact, He said that the way to truly be great is to serve others. The Lord of all, Creator God, laid down His life for you, for me. He came to serve us by giving everything - His very life! Is there someone in your life that God is calling you to serve? You can only do it truly in His love and in His power, because He first served you. Always remember, there is hope with God. "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28 radio.hopewithgod.com

When we picture Christmas, we often think of a baby wrapped in cloth, lying in a wooden manger. But that moment of new life points forward to another moment. So different—it's the cross. In the Bible, God's ancient book of truth, a prophet named Isaiah wrote a prediction about the savior that would come…Jesus. Isaiah said this, “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so that we could be whole. He was whipped so that we could be healed.” This Christmas, as you think about the birth of Jesus, consider also the cross. The baby born in Bethlehem grew up to be the Savior. He loves you more than you can imagine. Welcome Him into your life. You can say, “Jesus, I believe that You came for the salvation of the whole world, and also for me. Forgive me. Help me to know You and follow You into eternal life.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Isaiah 53:5 radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if Christmas never happened? The Bible, God's book of truth, says in Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin [that means the results of our sin] is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” Without Jesus' birth, there would be no forgiveness, no free gift, no eternal life. But God was not willing to leave us in that state. On the first Christmas, He entered into the world He made. And He came to us as a baby. Jesus, God in human form, was really born—so that we could really be saved. This year, don't miss the reason that it all matters. You can pray, “Jesus, thank You for being born to save me. Forgive me for all my wrongs. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Do you feel like an outsider? Maybe you've left church, or maybe you've never been to church, and you feel separate. Can I tell you that Jesus doesn't see you in this way? Isaiah 53 tells us that we've all strayed away from Him. We've all gone our own way, but Jesus has gone after the wanderer. He's left the 99 sheep behind to look for the one who strayed away. And we are all that one wandering sheep, every single one of us. He loves you. He's done all that is needed for you to be in a relationship with Him. He's looking for you. Why don't you turn your heart to Him right now? Just say: “Thank You, Jesus, for never giving up on me. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for giving Your life for me. I need You.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you ever looked up at the stars on a clear night and it made you feel small, yet filled with wonder? Long ago, some very smart men, leaders in their world, noticed a bright star, and they followed it. And it led them on a journey to find Jesus. These wise astronomers they traveled far because they knew this child was worth the finding. And Jesus still is worth the finding. Christmas is more than a season. It's a signpost pointing to Jesus. Not a legend, but a real Savior who's come because He loves you. Maybe you've been searching for meaning and for peace, and for answers. Just like these wise men, you can find Jesus. Do you want that? You can pray, “Jesus, I've been searching all my life. I believe in You, You are the Savior. And I give You my life.” Always remember, there is hope with God. "When they saw the star, they were filled with joy!" Matthew 2:10 radio.hopewithgod.com

Long before Jesus was born, the prophet Micah gave this beautiful promise. He said, “But you, O Bethlehem, you are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you on my behalf…And he will stand to lead his flock with the Lord's strength, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.” In that little town of Bethlehem, the prophecy was fulfilled. The Son of God arrived—not in power, but in humility, to be the loving Shepherd who lays down His life for His sheep. Maybe you're wandering away; you're lost. This Christmas, remember that Jesus came for you. Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Will you imagine something with me for a moment? You're a shepherd, out in the middle of the night, and then suddenly, the whole sky lights up! It's full of angels announcing the birth of a Savior. The One who will make all things right…God in human form…He's arrived. In that moment, everything changes. For those shepherds, they weren't especially rich or powerful people—they were just workers doing their jobs. Yet they were the first ones to hear the greatest news the world has ever known. Christmas was a world-changing event then, and it continues to change the world to this day. Jesus, Himself- He was born. He came for all of us. He came for you. And so this Christmas, don't let the Good News pass you by. Like those shepherds, you can respond with joy. You can believe the message, and you can follow Jesus. Always remember, there is hope with God. "The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!" Luke 2:11 radio.hopewithgod.com

If you're struggling with depression, I want you to hear this: you are not alone. Jesus sees you. He knows your pain, and He is not afraid of it, and He is not offended by it. Here's a verse in the Bible that makes a difference, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed." That means even when you feel completely alone, you are not. Even when hope feels out of reach, He is right there with you. Depression is real. Healing takes time, and sometimes, it takes a lot of support and work. But Jesus offers hope, a hope that can hold you steady, even in the darkest, hardest moments. So, if you're struggling, please don't walk this road alone. There is hope, and His name is Jesus. Call out to Him today. He wants to care for you. And always remember, there is hope with God. I'm Andrew Palau. Scripture Reference: Psalm 34:18 radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you seen a tree that's been chopped down to a stump? It looks like nothing good could grow there again. That's the picture the prophet Isaiah used long ago when he promised these words: “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.” God's people felt hopeless. And then, on that first Christmas night in Bethlehem, Jesus was born. He was—and is—the promised King. But unlike earthly rulers, He came to serve, He came to love, He came to give His life so that we could be made new. Christmas is for you! Christmas is a reminder that new life is possible through Jesus. Will you ask Him for it? Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Isaiah 11:1 radio.hopewithgod.com

You've surely heard the Christmas carol “Silent Night.” Its words paint such a peaceful scene: “Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright.” That song points us back to a real night in history. On a quiet night in Bethlehem, a young mother named Mary laid her newborn baby in a manger. And the angels even sang it out, “The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!” Christmas is about God entering the world that He made to be close to you. He came to bring peace to the world and to you. That peace that lasts beyond just one night. You can say to Him today: “Jesus, thank You for coming into this world for me. Bring Your peace into my life today. I want to know You, and I will serve You forever. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. I'm Andrew Palau. Hundreds of years ago, before the birth of Jesus, the prophet Isaiah promised this... He said, “...Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us').” Notice that last part? Immanuel means “God is with us.” For generations, people held onto those words, waiting for the day God would come. And then, on that very first Christmas, it happened. Jesus was born; God, Himself, stepped into our world—into history—because He loves us. You can pray with me right now: “Jesus, thank You for coming to be with us. I believe, I know that you're real. Will you be with me today?” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

What comes to your mind when you think about peace at Christmas? Maybe it's snow falling softly outside. Or the warmth of laughing around the family table. When Jesus was born, the angels declared in Luke 2:14, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” This peace isn't about the absence of conflict. It's the peace of knowing that God loves you, that He has forgiven you, that He promises, “I will never leave you.” Christmas is not a charming legend about a baby—it is the true arrival of God Himself in the world, the world that He created. This Christmas, you can welcome Him into your life by just praying, “Jesus, I want to know You. I want to receive Your forgiveness for all the wrongs. Please forgive me and bring peace into my heart. And I trust You with my life. In Jesus' name, amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

What is the absolute best Christmas gift you've ever unwrapped? For me, it was my father's old Bible. The pages are worn and every margin is filled with his notes—it is priceless to me. Gifts connect us. And at Christmas, God gave the greatest gift of all: His Son. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God entered our world as a baby—Jesus—a real Savior who came to offer you the gift of new, eternal life. Will you receive it? If so, you can simply turn to Him and say, “Jesus, I want to know You, and I will follow You. Please forgive me. Thank you for coming, for the work You did on my behalf; giving yourself so that I could have live. I receive Your gift.” Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Have you ever wished for just a day of peace? People everywhere long for peace. And centuries ago, the prophet Isaiah made this promise about Jesus: “For a child is born to us, a son is given. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” For generations, people clung to these words while living through war and struggles, and disappointments and loss. And then Jesus was born. He came to make peace between us and God. And to bring peace into our troubled lives. He is still alive today! You can pray with me: “Jesus, I need Your peace. Help me to trust You and follow You. Amen.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Isaiah 9:6 radio.hopewithgod.com

Christmas lights make the darkest night feel bright and joyful. Where I live in Portland, Oregon it sparkles through the month of December with color and warmth. These lights they're temporary—we pack them away when the season ends. But there is another light that never fades. Jesus once said, “...I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you will not walk in darkness, because you will have the light of life, the light that leads to life.” Jesus isn't just a story, being born at Christmas—He's the Savior, the real One—God in flesh, who entered into the world that He created because He loves you. This Christmas, as you soak in the beauty of the lights around you, remember the true Light. You can receive His love and His hope right now. You can say, “Jesus, I need You. Shine Your light into my life. Come, I want to know You, and I will follow You all the days of my life.” Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: John 8:12 radio.hopewithgod.com

A prophet named Isaiah said this, these words, long before Jesus was born: “For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.” At last—Christ was born. That ancient promise came true as a tiny baby, full of life. Jesus wasn't a symbol that faded in history—He was real, living among real people, teaching them how to love, healing broken lives, and showing them the way to a repaired relationship with God. Today, you may feel lost, unseen, or surrounded by shadows. Jesus is the light who does not fade. He knows your heart, He loves you so much, and He invites you to walk in His light. Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Isaiah 9:2 radio.hopewithgod.com

Every December, you hear the voices singing, “Joy to the World, the Lord has come! Let earth receive her King!” And the melody, I wish I could sing better, it's cheerful, believe me. The words are full of hope. But they are rooted in something real! It's the Bible, God's book of truth. And it tells us that when Jesus was born, the angels visited the local shepherds, saying, “Don't be afraid!… We bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” The Good News was that God's promised Savior had arrived—Jesus, born as a baby, but sent to rescue humanity from sin and death. He grew up, He taught us God's ways, He healed the broken, and ultimately He gave His life on the cross so that we could be forgiven. The song rings true—there is joy for the world, everyone who chooses to follow Jesus. Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Luke 2:10 radio.hopewithgod.com

Is there any reason not to give your life to Jesus today? I've asked that question to people many times, and one of the things that holds people back? It's this idea that if they decide to follow God, they're going to have to give up everything fun about life. Well, let me tell you, it could not be further from the truth; God sets us free. Once you come to know God's love, His kindness, His compassion…you will WANT to make some of those changes in your life. But these changes are not about control or punishment, killing your joy. Your choices to end this destructive behavior in your life will be voluntary and it will be motivated by your overflowing love of God. And it's for your own good. So, why not invite God into your heart and get to know His generous love? It is better by far than anything that you may have to give up, I promise you. When I married my husband, I moved from my small island of Jamaica to Portland, Oregon in the United States. I missed my home, but I loved my husband. In the first years of our marriage, there were so many times I felt alien. I was a foreigner in a different place, a different culture, different traditions and accents, ways of thinking and seeing the world. When we don't have a relationship with God through Jesus, God's ways are so foreign to us. We don't understand Him. We become confused at times at the ways He works in the world. And we can think that God is distant and cold. But when we take the step of faith to walk with Jesus, Ephesians 2 tells us that we are no longer foreigners and aliens to God. But fellow citizens with God's people. Always remember there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Ephesians 2:19 radio.hopewithgod.com

Is there anything stopping you from coming to God right now? I've asked people that question so many times, and often, people think that they're just too messed up. I'm too full of sin at the moment. And they believe God won't want me. Jesus reached out again and again to the most rejected, unclean, and sinful people of all society. He went to them and He invited Himself to dinner at their houses. And He washed their feet. He touched them. And He loved them without any reservation. And this is His offer for you today. Pray with me: Jesus, I've been afraid, but now I'm here, offering You my life. I'm not perfect, but I'm Yours. And I will follow You. I want to learn Your ways. Help me to know Your healing and Your love. And thank You. In Jesus' name, amen. Always remember, there is hope with God. Scripture Reference: Luke 19:5 radio.hopewithgod.com

When you reach the end of your life and look back at your story, what will have mattered the most? Most people will say the time they spent with loved ones. For me, it's a message I get to share with everyone I meet, and I love it so much! When this message sinks into people's hearts, it gives birth to hope. This message saves people. Can I share it with you right now? God, the one Who made everything, Who formed you in your mother's womb before you took your first breath, loves you. And you can know Him. If you ask Him, He will take the pain and the shame of every wrong thing you've done. And He will set you free and give you new life. Isn't this good news?! Invite Jesus into your heart today. "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13 Always remember, there is hope with God. radio.hopewithgod.com

Are you in a season of sorrow? You know, it's okay not to be cheerful all the time. In fact, Jesus experienced deep sorrow Himself. These are the words of the prophet Isaiah, which he spoke centuries before Jesus would come to walk the earth: He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief… Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. So, this means that Jesus knows how you feel when you experience pain…because He experienced it Himself. You don't have to bear the burden of sorrow or grief on your own. He will lift the heaviness off your shoulders. Pray with me: God, I need You to help me to carry this heaviness and this grief. You know the depths of my pain. And I invite You to come into my heart and take over with Your love and with Your comfort. Thank You. Always remember, there is hope with God. Long ago, Jesus made this surprising statement: What sorrow awaits you teachers of the religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs—beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people's bones and all sorts of impurity. What a powerful image! And Jesus wasn't talking to the rejected people of society…rather, these were the powerful religious leaders who claimed to be holy. Have you ever been hurt by religion? Maybe it's a scary thought to even think about spirituality. Jesus does not use religion as a weapon to control, to punish or to push people away. And as you see here, He gets most upset when others do. Jesus is not the one who hurt you. And He wants you to find safety, healing, and restoration in His loving arms.
