What is one thing in your life that is keeping you from experiencing freedom, joy, and a flourishing life? If you were to remove this one “weed” in your life, how would it transform your life and help you step into your God-given potential? Christie and Allie talk about the power of identifying and removing the “weeds” in our lives that hinder our spiritual and personal growth. With vulnerability, they share their own stories of overcoming challenges, including addictions and unhealthy relationships, and the importance of a relationship with Jesus as our foundation for true transformation. They close by talking about the impact of social media and alcohol on mental health, and the hard work required to cultivate a fulfilling life. Conversation Topics Transformation begins with identifying the weeds in our lives. A relationship with Jesus is the most powerful way to be transformed. Common weeds include addictions, unhealthy relationships, and self-destructive patterns. Sin can rob us of a flourishing life, but God's grace offers freedom. Personal stories of overcoming self-centeredness and vanity. Alcohol and social media can be significant weeds that numb our pain and hinder our growth. Tending to our lives requires commitment, wisdom, and hard work. We have the agency to make changes in our lives that can bring freedom and joy. The journey towards an abundant life involves replacing negativity with beauty and goodness. Start Your Transformation Now As I was thinking about this week's episode and what I wanted to share I had an epiphany: I have tons of things to share with you sitting right on my desk. For decades I have taken notes when talking to my brother-in-law, the shaman. Over the years I've gone through the notes and taken an inventory of myself and my own growth and often I add to the notes with my own assessment of self-growth. As I was thinking about this week's episode I had a stack of notes on my desk that are simply personal notes to myself and I thought, “Why don't I share this with people?” The podcast is never contrived or orchestrated in any way others than to serve you and perhaps give you food for thought, and when I had this idea earlier I decided to just share with you some of the bullets from my personal notes. The thoughts I share this week have been life-changing for me and I think you'll also find value. I could give the bullet points I talk about here in this write-up but that ruins all the fun of new discovery, so, listen to this week's episode and I'm curious so to whether or not you like the impromptu format of this episode. The general theme this week is random thoughts regarding spiritual responsibility for our lives and our personal evolution. Listen, apply, and enjoy! What if emotional eating is holding you back from manifesting the life you truly desire? In this episode of the Manifested podcast, Kathleen Cameron and Amber Romaniuk delve into the profound connection between emotional eating and manifestation. Kathleen shares her personal struggles with emotional eating, revealing how subconscious triggers influenced her habits and how healing those parts of herself led to profound personal transformation. Amber opens up about her own journey, showing how overcoming binge eating sparked her passion to help others heal from similar struggles. Together, they dive into the prevalence of emotional eating among women, the role hormones play in emotional triggers, and how societal conditioning fuels these behaviors. A key focus of the conversation is the importance of self-love, as both Kathleen and Amber emphasize the need to understand your unique emotional triggers and practice mindfulness to foster lasting change. This episode is for you if you've ever struggled with emotional eating, are ready to break free from old habits, or want to heal your relationship with food and yourself. Discussed in this episode: Emotional eating is often a symptom of subconscious beliefs and is not purely driven by a lack of willpower. Hormonal imbalances, stress, and societal habits contribute significantly to emotional eating tendencies, especially in women. Understanding the distinction between physical hunger and emotional cravings is essential for modifying eating habits. Her podcast, “The No Sugarcoating Podcast,” has garnered over 2 million downloads, spanning more than 500 episodes, and is listened to in 88 countries worldwide. Amber overcame her own emotional eating after gaining and losing more than 1000 lbs and spending over $50,000 on binge foods and spending 5 years balancing her hormones, digestion. She also dismantled her deeply limiting beliefs and behaviors that kept her stuck in the same looping patterns. ✨ This week's episode is not a conversation—it's a frequency reset. Welcome to Making Mind, a new series designed to rewire your brain and realign your reality. Each track is an energetic transmission. A guided journey to reshape your thoughts, reprogram your beliefs, and magnetize your next level. We're not just talking anymore— We're remaking the mind.
Let's talk about adulting—actual adulting. Not just paying bills or keeping a houseplant alive, but the kind that involves emotional maturity, healthy boundaries, and conscious self-leadership. Because let's be honest, most of us weren't taught how to be fully functioning adults… and it shows. Joining us is Michelle Chalfant, licensed therapist turned holistic life coach, creator of The Adult Chair® model, and author of the new book The Adult Chair: Get Unstuck, Claim Your Power, and Transform Your Life. With millions reached through her podcast, coaching programs, and retreats, she's here to walk us through the five pillars of being a healthy, grounded adult. Here's the truth: being an adult isn't about checking boxes or pretending you're fine. It's about owning your truth. Feeling your feelings. Practicing compassion without letting yourself off the hook. It's about setting firm boundaries—with no need for justification—and recognizing that your triggers are not flaws, they're clues. None of us were handed a guidebook for how to grow up emotionally. We inherited patterns from people who were figuring it out as they went. But what Michelle shares today is empowering: it's never too late to unlearn what no longer serves you and become the adult you were meant to be. Whether you're starting this work or knee-deep in your personal development era, this episode will meet you where you are—and help you move forward with clarity, self-trust, and strength. Recover Your Soul: A Spiritual Path to a Happy and Healthy Life
Send one way text to Rev Rachel The words we speak and the thoughts we hold aren't just passing moments—they're the seeds we plant in the garden of our lives. Whether we realize it or not, we're always creating. Soul Recovery reminds us that healing begins when we become aware of how we're using our voice, both in the silence of our own mind and in the way we speak to those around us.In this episode, I invite you to take a deeper look at the power of your inner and outer language—especially in moments of pain, fear, or conflict. How we talk to ourselves when we're hurting… how we speak to someone we love when we're upset… these are sacred turning points. We can choose to repeat the old patterns, or we can choose to awaken. This isn't about perfection. It's about becoming more conscious. Instead of saying “I'm struggling” or “things never change,” we can shift into new language that aligns with who we are becoming. We can pause, breathe, and speak with intention. And when we do, the world around us begins to shift. This is the work of Soul Recovery: learning to meet ourselves with love, speak with compassion, and transform our lives from the inside out—one thought, one word, one choice at a time. This podcast is for educational purposes only and is not allied or representative of any organizations or religions, but is based on the opinions and experience of Rev. In this episode, Steve Fretzin and Adam Ouellette discuss:The long-term impact of unmanaged stress in the legal professionShifting from reactive to responsive behavior in work and lifeThe necessity of integrating systems, organization, and delegation in law practicesExploring effective breathing and mindfulness practices for emotional regulation Key Takeaways:Most lawyers suffer from nervous system dysregulation due to chronic stress, which leads to physical symptoms like migraines, arrhythmia, and burnout.Heart-focused breathing, specifically the “Quick Coherence” method, can physiologically shift the body from fight-or-flight into healing mode in just minutes.Using modern legal tech tools like CRMs, automation software, and client management systems can drastically reduce workload and prevent burnout, but most lawyers resist adopting them.Implementing micro-pauses every 50 minutes for breathwork and short breaks can significantly reduce mental fatigue and boost long-term performance. "It's so critical that lawyers start to quiet their mind and regulate their nervous systems, because if you don't, you're gonna hit a wall at some point in your practice, and you're not gonna like it. Mid-Year Reset: Strategies to Transform Your Life in Six Months To create your best six months ever, it is essential to start by defining what "best" means for you personally. This involves taking the time to reflect on your desires, aspirations, and what success looks like in your life. Tonya Leigh emphasizes that many people fail to define success clearly, which can lead to feelings of dissatisfaction and confusion. In this episode, Shira Gill, author of Lifestyle: Your Guide to a More Organized and Intentional Life, joins the show to discuss her approach to minimalism and intentional living. Shira, a professional organizer, shares how she applies the principles of minimalism not just to physical possessions but to all aspects of life—helping to create space for what truly matters. In this conversation, we explore: The Meaning of Minimalism: Shira discusses how minimalism is not just about owning less but being radically intentional with your time, energy, and resources, and how it helps to clarify your values and priorities. The Power of Volume, Systems, and Habits: We dive into Shira's toolkit for simplifying life, which includes managing the volume of commitments, setting up simple systems, and creating sustainable habits that align with your goals. The Volume Problem: Shira explains why many people's clutter and stress aren't about disorganization, but about the sheer volume of things they're trying to manage, and how reducing that volume can be transformative. Creating Simple Systems for Busy Lives: We discuss how simple, intuitive systems (like Shira's easy filing method) can save time, reduce friction, and maintain order without overwhelming yourself with complexity. The Importance of Saying No: Shira emphasizes the importance of recognizing when to say no to commitments, distractions, and activities that don't align with your core values, which is critical for maintaining clarity and energy. Shira's insights provide practical strategies to help you simplify your home, work, and life, creating the space and time needed for what really matters.
