This week we continued our new summer series, “Grab Bag,” by focusing on the book of Revelation. This book is full of strange symbols and shocking images, but what is the point or meaning of it all? Does it predict the future or is it about something else? Josh talks about all that and more in this week's message.*⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us

We had such an amazing time celebrating Easter together this weekend! Combined with his crucifixion, Easter is the central event of Jesus's life in the Gospels. The most important question we can ask about Easter is not what happened, that is beyond our ability to answer. The most important question is what does Easter mean, especially for our lives 2000 years later? Join us as we seek to respond to that question!⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us
This Sunday is the day known as "Palm Sunday" on the Christian calendar. It begins Holy Week, a week of controversy, teaching, and prophetic demonstration that leads to Jesus's death on Friday. What is Palm Sunday about? Why did Jesus choose to enter Jerusalem for that fateful week in this way? Join us as we relive the events of Palm Sunday and explore what they ask of us, today.⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us
Wrapping Up Meeting Paul Again: We've spent the last several weeks exploring Paul's seven authentic letters, and in this sermon we wrap up that journey by asking that question, “What do we do with Paul today?” After taking a brief look at the other six letters attributed to, but not actually written by, Paul, we'll imagine what his legacy might mean today. ⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us
Over the past several weeks we've examined six of Paul's authentic letters in our “Meeting Paul Again” series. This week we come to the seventh and final letter: Romans. This oft quoted letter has been instrumental in shaping so much of Christian theology, and it's important to take it seriously. At the same time, we must ask questions about the readings and interpretations we've inherited. What does Romans tell us about the historical Paul and the early Jesus movement?⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us
This Sunday we continued our “Meeting Paul Again” series, this time in the letter known as Philippians. This letter contains some of Paul's “Greatest Hits,” passages that have permeated Christian—and even cultural in some cases—consciousness. What do these passages mean in the context of Paul's work and the rest of the letter? Join us as we explore “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength,” and so much more!⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us
Our “Meeting Paul Again” series is exploring the story and teachings of the historical Paul, in his own words. This week we continued the journey through his authentic letters by turning our focus to 2 Corinthians. This letter is likely a combination of three or four smaller letters and gives us a further glimpse into the conflict between Paul and the Corinthians. Two key areas of focus in this sermon were Paul's line in chapter five about “walking by faith and not by sight,” a statement that has been used to manipulate and shame people with questions and doubts, and we will explore what Paul means by “New Creation.” ⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us
This weekend we jumped back into our “Meeting Paul Again” series by discussing the letter to Philemon. This is the shortest of Paul's authentic letters, but it gives us a fascinating look at how he understood the practical implications of following Jesus. ⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us

This weekend we are ONLINE ONLY and we are starting a new series! So many of us have been on a journey of unlearning, of letting go and leaving behind interpretations and understandings that no longer work for us. The process is not just one of letting go and leaving behind, however. We are also embracing new values and understandings. In this new summer series, “UnLearning,” we will explore many of the doctrines and beliefs we have jettisoned, and ask “what next?” This Sunday Josh will begin with an introduction that will set the direction for the series, so you don't want to miss it! Join us at 10:30am CT, on YouTube ONLY, this Sunday (6/2) for UnLearning, part one! ⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us
This Sunday Josh will begin a two-week mini-series around the season of Pentecost. To start things off we'll look at a story found in John 20, in which Jesus breathes the Spirit into his disciples. Well, except for one, Thomas. He missed the moment. What might the story of the disciple we've called “Doubting Thomas” for two thousand years teach us about our own experience? It might surprise you! Join us Sunday at 9 and 11am CT as we explore it together. ⛪️ To learn more about who we are and what we do, visit https://gracepointe.net/about-us

What do we do when the portrayal of Jesus in Scripture shows us something we don't like or agree with? Today, lead pastor Josh Scott shares one of his favorite stories in Mark, a time when Jesus refused to help someone and then changed his mind.
