Omnidian co-founders https://www.linkedin.com/in/markliffmann/ (Mark Liffmann) and https://www.linkedin.com/in/braddavismarketing/ (Brad Davis) share the stage in this final episode of our six-part https://mysuncast.com/futureofsolar (Beyond O&M: The Future of Solar) series. Mark and Brad, CEO and CMO, respectively, define how solar businesses can maximize growth by delivering custom-centric experiences that align with their company cultures even as they scale. A 15-year solar industry veteran, Mark co-founded SunPower's residential and light commercial business and developed a $500 million global enterprise. He previously held executive leadership positions at Clean Power Research, enerG2 and Solar Depot (Soligent). Brad held executive leadership positions for national brands in retail, financial services, and renewable energy, successfully launching new markets worldwide. In addition to a long tenure at retail giant Target, he was CMO at JP Morgan Chase, SunPower, Washington Mutual and Opus Bank. They believe the most successful solar businesses of the future will share one thing in common: a commitment to exceptional customer experiences (CX). CX spans the lifetime of customers' relationships with a brand from pre-purchase through use, service, and potential repeat sales. "Ultimately," Brad said, "no matter what business we're in, the only thing we sell is trust." Project Evergreen's Ki Matsko rejoins the podcast to discuss SnowCare for Troops volunteer needs for Winter 2022-23. She is joined by special guest Brad Davis who offers a first-hand account of being involved with the program as both a soldier and a snow pro. Hashish will put you in foreign prisons is the theme this week. "Midnight Express" (1978) is the story of an American college student attempting to smuggle 2 kilos of hash. He's caught and thrown into a horrible prison. Loosely based on a true story, it was great and star Brad Davis stole the show. "Return to Paradise" (1998) is based in Malaysia, but for some reason spent a lot of time in NYC. Not enough time at the prison and too much melodrama back home. A young Joaquin Phoenix gives a believable performance. Next, mentors in film with "Wonder Boys" (2000) and "Finding Forrester" (2000).Thanks for listening!Did we get something wrong? As we've just completed the Christian season of Lent, hosts Joe Webb and Brad Davis look back on the drama of Holy Week from Palm Sunday to Easter and discuss how it plays out as liberationist political subversion beyond being merely a series of spiritual stories.

In this episode, Brad talks openly and frankly about his time as a drug dealer in the Southern West Virginia coalfields, the almost inescapable spiral of fear and hopelessness of the drug culture, and what motivates him to be part of the solution in a region that seems trapped in multiple layers of addiction.

At the age of five David got his first taste of film making at age nine, when he was an extra in Hero at Large, a John Ritter film directed by Martin Davidson. Throughout his teen years, he appeared in Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs and James Lemmo's Heart starring Brad Davis. Dave's recent work includes Emerging Past- a film he produced and in which he appears alongside his childhood idol, Stephen (Fright Night) Geoffreys, in a very funny scene. Mr. Hush, which he wrote, produced, and directed, has become a cult classic. It stars Brad Loree (Michael Myers in Halloween: Resurrection), Stephen Geoffreys (Fright Night, 976-EVIL), and Steve Dash (Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part 2). Mr. Hush enjoyed a limited, US national theatrical run in NYC, LA, San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, northeastern PA, and Pittsburgh. It was released nationally on DVD and Blu-ray on August 7, 2012 and spent 6 weeks on Redbox's genre top 10 list. In 2012, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences requested a copy of the Mr. Hush script to be placed in the permanent core collection of the Margaret Herrick Library to be preserved forever. In 2014, Dave started a podcast/radio show titled The End of the Night. In his first 10 episodes, guests included Corey Feldman, Doug Bradley, David Naughton, Brian O'Halloran, Harrison Page, Tiffany Shepis, Fred "the Hammer" Williamson, G. Tom Mac, and Tony Moran, just to name a few. In November of 2015, Dave released his film Middle Village. Its theatrical debut was at the historic Cinemart Theater in Queens, New York. It has garnered Laurels from the Forwardian Film Festival, and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. It was featured on whatchareading.com's list of the best films of 2015. The film features his dear friend, Brian O'Halloran (Clerks 1 & 2, Mallrats), Ray Abruzzo (Mad Men, Sopranos), Scott Schiaffo (Clerks) and WWE Superstar Gene Snisky. .
