When I started coaching moms ten years ago I called it Mama Bliss Coaching. Because that was the result of us working together one on one. You become a more blissful mama. Coaching doesn't sell - results do. And while being a more blissful mama might sound like a floofy, and you know how anti-floof I am when it comes to a mom's coaching biz, I knew what being more blissful looks like. And more importantly, my ideal clients knew what that looked like too. Mama Bliss looks like less anxiety, fear, overwhelm, resentment, guilt, sadness. Mama Bliss looks like more energy, calm, patience, confidence, fun. It's essentially who we are without all the layers of crud, distraction and expectations life and society places upon us. When I teach moms how to coach moms inside my coaching certification program that's what I help them help others do. Peel off those layers to tap into their client's own inner knowing. And that's what Human Design does for us too. On this week's episode I'm going to share a few ways that knowing what your unique energetic blueprint means and how to use it to operate from your natural energetically primed self so you can move forward and reach your goals more sustainably and quickly. https://www.blissbeyondnaptime.com/how-human-design-can-help-grow-your-mom-coaching-biz

Who wants more mama bliss? Doesn't it sound delicious? Of course it does! And having more bliss happens to make up my coaching approach for moms.   Because bliss is everything.   In a nutshell, Mama Bliss is the exact opposite of what you are at your worst possible mothering moments. Impatient. Fearful. Irritable. Anxious. Checked-out.   If you fill up your bliss bucket then you can do anything you set your mind, heart and soul to.   Then with all this newfound energy, clarity and inspiration, you can coach others to bliss too. Whatever mama bliss looks like to you.   In this week's episode I share what it looks like to me.

On this episode, I am talking to Kathy from Bliss Beyond Naptime, where she teaches moms to coach other moms through a 12-week certification program to become a coach. Sometimes you can feel like your life is like looking outside during wildfire season and seeing nothing but smoke. It is difficult to get clarity and as a result, you may feel anxious or fearful. Kathy has one question that you can ask yourself to get clarity. Kathy also uses the term "mama bliss" often. I had her explain to us what mama bliss means and how to achieve mama bliss in our own lives. Kathy has a great acronym for remembering self-care. Just remember to look down and check your SHOES daily. For more information about Kathy, her coaching program and Facebook group go to realhappymom.com/6 to find all of the links and show notes. One of the beauties of becoming a mom is squeezing in a bit of a therapeutic redo of your own childhood. There are bits and pieces I feel I was over compensating from what I felt was either missing or perhaps over done like a sadly bbq'd wild salmon. I'm grateful for the principles outlined in the book Simplicity Parenting by Kim John Payne that outlined the areas to simplify in life for the kids' benefit but, needless to say, Mama and Dada soak in the bliss too. And not to mention Mama Biz! And helps me bring that tendency to over compensate back to simply compensate.
