Huge episode of Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle as we preview the NBL Finals, announce our winners of the MVP and #TheDamo awards and it's all dedicated to the late Galen Young. This is an emotional Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle in tribute to 2010 Perth Wildcats NBL championship winner Galen Young. The 45-year-old was a special guest on the show in 2020, is a championship teammate of Shawn Redhage and Damian Martin, and shared a bond with co-host Chris Pike. There was only one way to start this week's show and that to discuss Galen's memory and talk about his tragic passing. But we had to move on with business and The Scoring Machine talked about the last round of the #NBL21 season which saw Melbourne United, Perth Wildcats, Illawarra Hawks and South East Melbourne Phoenix finish in the top four positions. Shawn Redhage also gives his votes in the MVP Award for Round 21. We also discuss the coaching vacancies now with Adam Forde leaving the Sydney Kings, Andrej Lemanis finishing at the Brisbane Bullets and Mike Kelly given his marching orders from the Cairns Taipans. Next up is #TheDamo Award with Damian Martin thanks to Boomering. Damo reflects on the life of Galen Young and previews the semi finals, but this segment is all about him announcing his winner of the Best Defensive Player for #NBL21. Following that is time for the TABtouch Preview with three-time NBL championship winning big man Matty Knight to give you your best preview of the two semi-final contests upcoming over the next week. We then finish off the show with Shawn Redhage announcing our Hoops Heaven MVP Award winner for the season. He also pays tribute to new Perth Redbacks games record holder Joel Wagner before we wrap up the show on the eve of the NBL Finals. All made possible thanks to Hoops Heaven, TABtouch and Boomering.

Here we are with another episode of Sixers Fix with Scott Ninnis ahead of the last game of the season for the Adelaide 36ers against Melbourne United on Sunday. It's an unexpected home game for the 36ers at Adelaide Entertainment Centre and a chance to finish the season on a winning note against the regular season champions. It's a shortened edition of Sixers Fix this week but we figured a shorter version was better than no version! The highlight of the show this week is our Ask the Coach segment with Conner Henry and the Adelaide 36ers coach continues to be willing to answer whatever questions are thrown his way. This week he discusses topics such as what moves the club needs to make moving forward to be successful, the scorecard for the season, improvements, what went well and where to from here, and Conner also previews Sunday's game, talks about Jamie Pearlman's head coach potential and also talks about why he's feeling so at home in Adelaide. All brought to you by Sports Card World, AllStar Photos, Premium Wine Tours and Australian Motors Mitsubishi.
We are back on Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle for the best and most detailed look you will get at the finish to the #NBL21 regular season over the coming days. There might be no Scoring Machine Shawn Redhage joining Chris Pike on this week's show, but we're sure that you will accept his replacement in six-time NBL champions and six-time NBL Best Defensive Player Damian Martin. There is plenty of ground for us to cover and we get underway with Damian Martin providing his first reaction to the news that Bryce Cotton has ruled himself out of being any chance of a miracle return for the Perth Wildcats. We then get Damian Martin's insight into the Friday night clash between the Perth Wildcats and Melbourne United which will go a long way to deciding top spot on the NBL ladder. We then take a look at the massive Saturday double-header with the New Zealand Breakers hosting the South East Melbourne Phoenix before the Sydney Kings and Brisbane Bullets battle. These two games could decide the fourth team to reach the finals and Damo let's you know who he expects to win and to make it. We then take a look at Melbourne playing the Adelaide 36ers on Sunday with Damo giving his thoughts on the season of the Sixers, and why he is excited for the future of Josh Giddey. The last game for us to look at is then on Tuesday between the Bullets and Phoenix. The legend himself Damian Martin breaks down how he sees the final few games of the season playing out, and who he expects to play finals. We then discuss the three outgoing coaches Adam Forde, Andrej Lemanis and Mike Kelly, and why the firing of Kelly from the Taipans wasn't necessarily what surprised Damian Martin the most. We then look ahead to the announcement of the winner of #TheDamo Award next week thanks to Boomering before the TABtouch Preview wraps up another big episode of Hoops Heaven's Basketball Hustle.
