The Parking Association believes multiple changes are needed for chasing up unpaid fines. In the three years to the end of 2024, just 68% of almost $29 thousand Auckland Transport fines were paid in part or in full. While AT says it's not a straightforward process, Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown says he's asked for advice on making them better debt collectors. Association chair Mike Kelly told Mike Hosking the psychology around it is one major issue. He says there are lots of people who get tickets daily for repetitive offences and aren't too bothered, and the tickets end up with the Ministry of Justice. Welcome back, Elisabeth! This time I am very excited to be speaking to Artist, Elisabeth Condon, about one of my favorite Chicago Imagists: Christina Ramberg. The Art Institute of Chicago recently mounted a retrospective of Ramberg's work and Elisabeth travelled to see the show this past summer. She spent time telling me about her favorite works, but also offered insight into Ramberg's personality and teaching style - as Elisabeth was her student in graduate school at SAIC in the late 80's. Ramberg is known for her small but tightly-wound acrylic paintings of disembodied women: truncated torsos, legless high heels shoes, floating suits, and body-less corsets, but also produced quilts and a series of satellite paintings shortly before she died at 49 of Pick's disease. We love to hear from our listeners. Send us a message. Mike Kelly faced a self-reckoning before he took the job as CEO at NervGen, a company developing peptide therapeutics targeted specifically at central nervous system repair. The veteran of life sciences business development knew the ropes of the biotech C-suite. He'd been a CEO twice before. He knew how to launch drugs, having seen commercial success several times before. He even knew how to sell them—he'd started his career carrying the bag for TAP Pharmaceuticals. But all he knew about peptides was that they were challenging to manufacture consistently and purify. And he knew that manufacturing is where a lot of biopharma companies fall down. On this episode of the Business of Biotech, we learn how Kelly reconciled that truth, and how NervGen is now leading the way for peptide therapeutics in spinal cord injury and beyond. The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 3: 5:00pm- Congressman Mike Kelly—Representative for Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to talk about his work as Chairman of the Bipartisan Task Force Investigating the Attempted Assassination of Former President Donald Trump. Rep. Kelly says that based upon the evidence, Trump has been very fortunate that both would-be assassins were “amateurs” and not professionals—“we can't let our guard down” and there can't be any more Secret Service security lapses. 5:20pm- Dr. Victoria Coates—Former Deputy National Security Advisor & the Vice President of the Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy at The Heritage Foundation—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss Iran's attack on Israel consisting of nearly 200 ballistic missiles. What happens next? Dr. Coates is the author of the upcoming book: “Battle for the Jewish State” which features a forward from Senator Ted Cruz. 5:40pm- Debate Night Preview. In preparation for the debate, The New York Times studied Tim Walz's past debate performances. Rich and Matt think the most telling line from the article is a plea to temper expectations for Walz. It seems like even The New York Times—which endorsed Kamala Harris earlier this week—expects J.D. Vance to win handily. 5:50pm- What Does Gina Raimondo Do All Day? While speaking with Becky Quick of CNBC's Squawk Box, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said she's “not very focused” on the dockworkers strike.
The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 3: 5:05pm- On Thursday, Donald Trump held a press conference from Trump Tower in New York City—calling out Kamala Harris for failing to fix the U.S. Southern border as Vice President. If she wants to crackdown on illegal migration, why doesn't she just do it now while she's in office? 5:15pm- Jeff Yass—Co-founder of Susquehanna International Group, one of Wall Street's largest and most successful trading firms—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to talk about the importance of school choice, which he describes as the “defining issue of our time.” Yass notes that Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, and even Hillary Clinton were all proponents of school choice prior to receiving campaign support from teachers unions—leading to their abandonment of the cause and an adoption of adversarial attitudes towards allowing parents to select an education that is best for their children. Is school choice the key to winning Pennsylvania, and the White House, in 2024? 5:40pm- On Thursday, Donald Trump held a press conference from Trump Tower in New York City—calling out Kamala Harris for failing to fix the U.S. Southern border as Vice President. Trump also revealed that he'll be meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky on Friday. 5:50pm- On Thursday, the House of Representatives held a hearing into the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler, PA on July 13th. Notably, Rep. Mike Kelly stated that the shooter, Thomas Crooks, was on the roof of the building he fired from for 3-minutes before shots were fired. While speaking with Rep. Mike Waltz, former Secret Service Agent Patrick Sullivan and Pennsylvania State Police Lieutenant John Herold revealed that Trump didn't have the same security resources he had during a 2020 rally in Butler, PA. They also explained that they were not made aware of Iran's assassination plots against Trump.

It's been just over a month since former President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. A bipartisan congressional task force is now conducting a deep investigation into what happened on July 13th in hopes of finding answers regarding what went wrong and who should be held accountable. Heading the House investigation is Republican Congressman Mike Kelly. It was his district where the shooting occurred. He was also in the audience that day, alongside his family. Congressman Kelly recently joined host Gurnal Scott on the FOX News Rundown to discuss the task force's goals and his questions about that tragic day. Rep. Kelly also described being in that crowd that Saturday evening as shots rang out and how he and his district have been impacted by what they witnessed. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview. This week on the FOX News Rundown, we will share our entire interview with Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Mike Kelly. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Joe Friday and Officer Frank Smith are on the trail of counterfeiters in "The Big Listen" from Dragnet (originally aired on NBC on January 5, 1954).
