Pursing anything alone will not only lead to burnout and frustration but also drastically dilute the final results of your achievement. We all have blind spots. We're not the best at everything. We get weary in the pursuit of greatness. The list could go on and on, but the point is that when you're plugged into a community, it fills in these gaps that would otherwise cause you to fall short. In this episode of the Sales Wolves Podcast, we dive into why a community is so vital to growth on ANY level and what it looks like when you find yours.
The best person you can be is... well, you. NOT the "you" others want you to be. NOT the "you" that you feel will please people the most. NOT the "you" whose grappling to satisfy every expectation. Every single one of those "achievements" will leave you dead, shriveled up, and unfulfilled. In this episode of the Sales Wolves Podcast, we'll unpack tactical tools to help you break past the timidity and walk boldly in the ONLY "you" the world should experience.
One of the biggest stumbling blocks for most when they've discovered their purpose is...patience. It's that space between where you currently are and the new era your mind has grabbed hold of, that is yet to come. How you play that space is CRUCIAL to whether or not your newly discovered purpose is lived out successfully. In this episode of the Sales Wolves Podcast, I'm joined by my good friend and cousin Troy Jones to help me unpack the patience that follows purpose. Rather watch? Visit YouTube.com/TylerJackHarris
Priorities are everything... but everything can't be your priority. Discerning what's most important in the present moment is a skill that will make or break your future, depending on whether or not you learn to master it. In this episode of the Sales Wolves Podcast, we unpack what it looks like to win in this arena.
You're either seeking discomfort... Or it's seeking YOU. It's not my opinion— it's the law of how this life works. All of that sounds great sitting from the comfort of our blissful trappings. So in great "lead by example" fashion, our CEO Joseph Caldwell plunged into the depths of discomfort (quite literally) and emerged to tell us exactly what embracing/pursuing discomfort unpacks into your life. Check out our latest episode of the Sales Wolves Podcast #155 where Joseph recaps his experience attending one of the world's most uncomfortable challenges (single-digit temperatures in not much more than a speedo)— The Wim Hof Expedition. Yes... No... Maybe... When you're in sales, you'll get all sorts of answers, however, when their answer is not what you expected, the key thing to focus on is YOUR answer. RESPONSE is the game-changer. Do you respond with frustration, anxiousness, pushy tactics, persuasiveness, or do you simply humble yourself to their answer and move on? Check out my latest episode of the Sales Wolves Podcast #154 where we're joined by Evan Wilson to dive deep into what this challenge looks like for him every day in this industry. Evan is the latest winner of our company's Sales Wolf award for consistently producing above and beyond company standards.
Happiness is so much more about "awareness" than "circumstance". Too often we make the mistake of thinking that just because MOST of our day was full of trouble, that there's nothing to be happy about. Most would agree with that and just call it a day. I would venture to say that you could go back into that day and pinpoint moments in which you can identify happiness, whether it was a compliment you received or your car starting on the first try. You can choose to focus on alllllllll of the negative moments of that day or choose to create tunnel vision around the happiest moments of your day. But just remember... that's YOUR choice. Ready to start having happier days even in the midst of chaos?
So, if you haven't heard already— I'm getting back into the ring with the 75 Hard Challenge (by Andy Frisella). Why? In this episode, I share that and so much more about why I'm so fired up about Round #2 of 75 Hard.
