It's our Spooktacular month of October and this movie doesn't have much Rom or Com but it's full of magic because we are covering Twitches. This Disney movie stars Tia Mowry-Hardrict as Alex and Tamara Mowry-Housley as Camryn, two twin sisters separated at birth who are reunited on their 21st birthdays only to realize they are witches (yay!) and also marked for death (crap!). In this episode Tamara realizes why it's a bad idea to subsidize traveling with slot machines, Corinne brings her sultry and southern flavor to her story retelling and both ponder why they weren't together in the short lived 'McMansion era'. You may be wondering if you should pass on this one because it's light in the love department but we'll say 'Twitch Please!' because there is love (not the romantical kind) and lot's of fun in Twitches.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict first graced our screens back in the early ’90s as one half of the iconic twin duo in the hit sitcom Sister Sister. Since then, she’s gone on to star in countless other projects—everything from Twitches to The Game to her beloved Youtube Channel, Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix—and over the years, she’s also added producer and best-selling author to her resumé. But after years of success in the entertainment industry, she’s used her hard-earned skills (among them, a healthy dose of persistence and fortitude) to found a company that’s inspiring women of all backgrounds to take charge of their wellness with her line of supplements called Anser. Hear how Tia has achieved longevity as an actress and forged her way into a new industry altogether on this episode of Second Life.
Multi-hyphenate. The term is used so frequently today that you’d be forgiven for thinking it was an old concept, but for our parent’s generation, having multiple careers wasn’t the norm. Now we’re turning our side hustles into full-time jobs, switching lanes, and pivoting towards our ever-changing passions all at the same time. Not all of us have a singular focus or that “one true calling.” And to be honest, that mindset can be incredibly restrictive. Expertise in one domain will help fuel excellence in another, and it's possible to be good at more than one thing in your life, or to be good at multiple things simultaneously. Just look at Tia Mowry-Hardrict. She could have made a comfortable living just being an actor, but instead, she stepped outside of her “lane” to be an author, a producer, a YouTuber, a mother, and now an entrepreneur with her new company, Anser Supplements. For this episode, Jaclyn sits down with Tia to find out how she followed her curiosity to pursue multiple career paths, why she launched a supplements line, and the many lessons learned along the way. This movie stars Tia Mowry-Hardrict & Duane Henry. Listen to us as we discuss why this movie is yet another "flaming turd" for Dean, why the law of physics just won't allow certain things, and why I think Dean and I could totally enter into a life-size gingerbread house making contest!
