Pastor Rodney message teaches that bold prayers, like Daniel's, are powerful acts of faith that build unshakable character, bring God's favor, and position us for lasting impact. Using Daniel's story, he shows how courageous prayer — even under pressure — fuels a vibrant faith that fears God more than man and anchors us through life's challenges. Bold prayers don't require polished words, but hearts fully surrendered to God, trusting that every prayer is heard, remembered, and answered according to His perfect will. Listen and be challenged. How do we prevent a daily necessity from becoming a life-damaging addiction? This week on In The Market with Janet Parshall we had a practical conversation about food and making sure that it does not become our “drug of choice”. The advent of progressive Christianity has pulled people away from established orthodox truth about the tent poles of the faith. Our guest shared her journey of being taken in by this new teaching, deconstructing its errors and rebuilding her faith on the unwavering bedrock of God’s truth. She is watchman on the wall for all of us when we encounter this dangerous and damaging false faith. Boldness in the life of the believer is not just restricted to the pages of scripture. Using Daniel’s experience in the lion’s den as a template, a highly respected evangelist joins us to talk about what it means to fight the “lions” of compromise and temptation that attack our faith and just like Daniel discover God’s power to rescue and save us when we are in our hour of trouble. Our guest shared her story of walking through the fire of abuse, restoration and rebuilding side by side with Jesus, reminding us all that there is no personal disaster so great that God can not see us through it, if we let Him. An overdose of the news can easily lead to turmoil and confusion but Janet and Craig are here once again to help us tamp down the noise and hear the clarion call of truth as we examine the headlines of the week.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We all will walk through the fiery trials of life. Sometimes the fire of trials we walk through isn't for doing anything wrong, but for doing everything right. Sadly, we often think that as a Believer we should have a life of ease. Jesus said He came to give us abundant life, yes. But this does not mean He gives us a life free from adversity. Using Daniel 3 and the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego as the teaching passage, discover 3 ways you can walk through the fire of trials in your life and be full of faith.

How do you respond to difficult, if not impossible, situations in life? When things outside of your control come flooding into your existence, do you respond to them with doubt, or faith? With fear or confidence? With seizing control from the sovereign hand of God or yielding it to Him? Using Daniel as our example, we itemize a few things about his response to an impossible situation that will be a carrying device to take throughout this entire chapter. For the question posed to the depths of his soul then, is the same question that you and I face today...do we truly believe?
Susie Gamez is Canadian by birth, Korean by heritage and Mexican/American by marriage. She is passionate about matters surrounding culture, diversity, justice and the Gospel. After serving as a missionary in South Central Los Angeles for 14 years, she now lives in Long Beach, CA where she serves on staff with Light and Life Christian Fellowship. Today, on the last day of Missions Week, Susie reads from Daniel 6 and exhorts us to place our trust in God though life many a times tempts us to forfeit our faith. Using Daniel as an example, Susie encourages us that God will never let us down, even when trusting in His faithfulness is hard to do.
What if God doesn't answer every one of your prayers, what if He doesn't give you everything that you think you deserve, what will you do then? We are sometimes told that our lack of abundance comes from our lack of faith. Cancer happens, divorce happens, death happens, but what happens to those who believed God would "fix" those problems? When Jesus doesn't answer prayers is Jesus still enough? Using Daniel 3:12-18 we see the answer of 3 men that said Jesus was enough, even if they didn't get what they wanted out of life.
In this second sermon in the Babylon series, Pastor Paul teaches about our identity - how we were created, how it's broken and how it's redeemed. Using Daniel 1:1-7 as his passage, Paul shares how Babylon destroys our identity, steals our hopes and dreams and always fails to deliver.
Powerful message by Pastor Tai Adeshugba: Generationally Transmitted Trauma in Men In today’s Father’s Day message, Pastor Tai delivers an usual but powerful message titled ‘Generational Transmitted Trauma’. Using Daniel 10:12-13 and Ephesians 6:12-13, we are reminded that there is more to this life than what meets the eye. We understand that as Christians, the war we fight is not simply against what we see with our eyes but it is against supernatural powers. Yet oftentimes, just like Daniel, we are completely oblivious to the war that rages on because of us. When we think of legacy, we often think of it being a positive thing. We celebrate people and say, “He/She left a legacy of faithfulness”, often forgetting that as it is in the light, so it is in the dark. Many men are carrying things that they are unaware of, negative things that are having an impact on their lives and on the lives of those around them. Without realising it, they are being subjected to the wiles of powers that cannot be seen with the human eye. Men carry the seed and so when they reproduce, the cycle continues. Thus a pattern of generational brokenness, failure, poverty, depression, anger, abuse and so much more, begins to take root and leaves behind a legacy of destruction. But these cross generational cycles and patterns can and must be broken. We know we cannot fight with physical weapons but our weapons are mighty through God to pull down strongholds. Our victory is rooted in Christ Jesus and with Him, we can receive our breakthrough.
