February 15th, 2026 | No Other Gospel | Galatians 1:1-5In this opening message of our new series through Galatians, Pastor Matt Darby lays a critical foundation with a bold reminder: there is no other Gospel.In a world filled with competing messages—social media, politics, self-help, religion—everyone is preaching a version of “good news.” Each promises identity, fulfillment, improvement, or freedom through performance. But as the apostle Paul makes clear in Galatians 1, the moment you add anything to Jesus, you've created a different gospel altogether.Written around 48 A.D. to young churches being swayed by counterfeit teaching, Galatians is Paul's most urgent and direct letter. A group known as the Judaizers were insisting that salvation required Jesus plus religious rule-keeping. Paul's response? Christ alone.From Galatians 1:1–5, Pastor Matt unpacks three pillars of a Gospel foundation:Gospel Authority – The Gospel is not man-made. It comes from God, through Jesus Christ, validated by the resurrection. Speaker: Rob SteeleIn John 16:12–15, Jesus promises that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth who continues His work by guiding us and glorifying Christ. In the sorrow-filled moments of the Upper Room, Jesus reminds His disciples—and us—that we are not left alone, but given the Spirit to reveal truth, illuminate Scripture, and help us understand what we could not yet bear. The Holy Spirit never draws attention to Himself, but faithfully declares what belongs to Jesus, always exalting Christ and His saving work. This teaching invites us to respond by trusting Jesus in our sorrow, submitting to God's Word, and allowing the Spirit to shape our lives for the glory of Christ.Need Prayer?

This Sunday, we dove into one of the apostle Paul's most heartfelt moments in Acts 20:17-38. Paul gathers his dear friends from Ephesus for one last, powerful lesson at a turning point in his journey—from traveling evangelist to ambassador in chains. Paul is being sent by God into the heart of Jerusalem and ultimately, the Roman Empire. The only way that's possible is as a prisoner for the gospel. For his friends, this is a troubling time, but for Paul, it's a divine calling. He encourages them by showing that he doesn't view his life as something to preserve and to protect. He is to be poured out on the altar for Jesus. Our sermon is titled, The Freedom of an Expendable Life. Ask yourself: Am I more focused on preserving my life, or pouring it out for God? Are we investing more emotional energy in securing our future, or in becoming living sacrifices? Much of our anxiety comes from trying to save ourselves when our true eternal safety is already secure in Christ. Jesus didn't hold on to His life—He gave it freely for us, so we can joyfully follow His example for the sake of others. Let's pray that we might learn the joy and freedom of having an expendable life. Looking forward to worshiping each Sunday.
