The game plan going into this podcast: "let's just get on a call and flow with it." I could talk to Harry for hours. We'll likely have him on as a repeat guest. Harry Charles "One Seven One" EP is out Friday August 18th on Serafin Audio Imprint. Go show that man some love! Harry Charles Instagram Harry Charles SoundCloud
Happy Techno Tuesday! I'm joined by REĊ¸ES to discuss the release of his upcoming EP "Echoing Epochs" - released this Friday, July 28th on Underyourskin records. I got to spend a few months with Johnny earlier this year when we were both living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. He's a lovely being. A talented artist. An overall great dude. If his energy resonates with you, be sure to show him some love. Woke up around 5 am, decided to go for a morning walk. It was super foggy outside. There was a melancholic vibe in the air. The atmosphere inspired me to open up and talk about my current experience with addiction. sending love to all.

I encountered one of the loveliest souls at a Volen Sentir show in Brooklyn a few years ago. Rachel Razor. We met up a few weeks later to record a podcast. The video kept messing up. Audio wasn't perfect. A lot of things went "wrong" - but in the end, I have golden snippets of our conversation that day, and I will share them piece by piece. Check out Rachel's Instagram here: www.instagram.com/rachelrazor
In part 2 of my conversation with Max, we explore the world of emotions and addiction. Part of what connects Max and I is our experience with coping mechanisms, escapes, addictions - whatever you want to call them. We have a level of awareness around the behavior, yet often find ourselves caught in the loop. This is a vulnerable conversation about our personal experiences. Temple Tears is one of my favorite artists in the Downtempo scene. His style caught my attention from the first listen. Deep, driving, groovy as hell and uplifting at the same time. As I get to know an artist on a personal level, I can connect with the music on a new level. I hope this podcast offers the same for you. I highly recommend you check out his tunes using the link below. This is part 1 of my conversation with Max. My connection with Max is one of the strongest I have in my life at the moment. I'm deeply grateful for this man. In part 1, we chat about our perceived disconnection with our inner masculine energy. We've split the podcast into 3 parts, which we will release week by week. We will release the podcast in its entirety at the end of the month. This episode is available with video via YouTube Sureya's back and we're diving deep into shame, presence, sex, porn, escaping and more. "I can't be present in the bedroom, my mind's wandering..." Are you present in the way you eat your meal? Are you present in your conversations? How many screens are you looking at, at a time? Presence isn't just going to turn on in the bedroom if we're not practicing anywhere else in our lives. It ripples into every single area. We need to be practicing that presence in everything that we're doing. Sending you love, Lee Sureya's Instagram Sureya's YouTube Army of Love Instagram

Have you ever thought about the music scene as an "escapism industry?" Non-intentional attendees filling their systems with drugs... for what? Do we even know what we're here for? And maybe we don't need to know.... escapes certainly serve a purpose. But I'll be damned if I continue to show up to energetic messes like this for the rest of my music loving life. We deserve better. [This content is also available with video on YouTube.]
In the first episode of Dear Doris, I have a lovely chat with my dear friend Fish aka Pescado Frito. In a nutshell, we discuss how the music scene has shaped us as human beings. Carrying lessons from the dance floor into every day life. Grab a seat... get comfortable and let's chat about registered characters, flowbreakers, the sauce and everything in between. Hope you enjoy. love, lee

**This episode is available with video on YouTube - link** The intention of this podcast is to bring the listener closer to the humans behind the music. In this episode I chat with Roswitha Nash about their heart opening track "Don't Go Asking" - released on June 25th with THE OTHER EYE. The conversation went far beyond music as we talked and joked about various topics. If nothing else, it would mean the world to me if you checked out their latest project, which features an incredible remix by Mira and Chris Schwarzwalder. I went to a party and it felt like the majority of the crowd spent more time chatting than dancing. It made me think about this concept of "passive listening." Everyone pays the same price to enter the party, you get to experience it however you'd like. I went with the intention to get lost in sounds and found it difficult in this environment. This is a little ramble about the experience. I'd love to chat about this with anyone who has feedback, similar experiences, etc.
We chat with IV-IN about the backstory to his EP "Alter" which is one of our favorite projects of 2020. We go on to chat about failure, insecurities, musical inspirations and how he feels about the comparisons to Kerala Dust. IV-IN is a lovely guy who's producing heartfelt groovers - be sure to show him some love and support. Send it.
Self reflection on feeling unworthy and needy.
It's easy for me to surrender, accept and flow when life is roses and smiles. It's much more challenging in my current situation. I feel resistance. Fear. Anxiety. On the surface, this sucks. Underneath it, I'm aware that this is an opportunity for significant growth. A growth spurt that comes from doing the work. Diving deeper. Facing your fears. This is work that I'm too scared & lazy to do on my own - I'd rather go to the festivals. Well, the festivals are no longer available for my escape. It's time to face myself on a deeper level. I'm fucking terrified and incredibly grateful at the same time. TRUST. THE. UNIVERSE.
Everyone has their own journey. You cannot expect anyone to react to experiences in the way that you do. There's infinite variables that led us to this exact moment - more than we could ever comprehend. I practice accepting this, and respecting that everyone is doing their best based off their experiences. Having said that, I still judge people. These moments of judgement are opportunities to look within and see where it's coming from. Let me know if you want to chat about any of this. Stay positive. Love you.
I'm the type of dude that buys 6 interesting books, reads 1-2 chapters of each and never finishes one of them. Feeling the same? Hop in for a listen.
A short story about the time a few hits off a joint put me into a hyper-present state of mind. I came to realize that my inability to properly set boundaries was leading me to close off to people, and the Universe as a whole.
I love sharing. I receive instant fulfillment from giving, or should we say SENDING. I'm also starting to recognize there's a self serving aspect to sharing. When your intention is pure, the Universe will reward you.
Accepting and Escaping are topics we'll be discussing often . In my experience, the first step is being aware that you're knocked off center. When something takes me out of flow, I no longer ignore it. I invite it in for tea & try to understand why.
Listening to your body is the first step. Following your body's request is the next. In this brief episode I talk about learning to honor my body when I'm feeling tired, particularly at parties.
In this episode we discuss various life lessons presented during the Stil vor Talent party in Leipzig.
