Charles Smith II is a stylist, fashion designer and creative director for Smith the 2nd and Do Not Touch. His clothing lines showcase his unique, bold and original pieces, which make more than a fashion statement; Do Not Touch is a concept line that highlights human rights through its messaging. A rising up and coming young designer originally from Harlem, New York now residing in Dallas, TX, Charles Smith II is leading the art and fashion community in young generations both in his city and on an international stage. His diverse aesthetic vision is apparent in his luxury brand “Smith II” and his edgier ready-to-wear brand “S2 by Smith II,” a line for young fashionistas who are also influenced by fashion but still want to eat after acquiring it. Charles Smith's transition from a player in the NBA D-League, to a model, and then to a designer showed him just how powerful following your dreams can be. He has walked in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York, Miami, Berlin, London, Paris, and Milan, experiences through which he saw one side of the industry. Living in Milan, Italy from 14 to 16 years of age and again from 19-21, Charles honed a European style through firsthand experience in the European fashion world. He has dressed fashion notables and celebrities such as Solange, Rev Run's daughter Angela Simmons, Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, and also Lenny Kravitz's daughter Zoe Kravitz, just to name a few. Charles has inspired and influenced his young followers by showing them that a kid from Harlem can make any dream come true.
What pops into your head when you hear, “Sweet Tooth Hotel?” We bet you didn't initially think of experiential art. Which is, we think, exactly the point. You're invited to check in at Sweet Tooth Hotel, created by wife and husband duo Jencey and Cole Keeton. Founded in 2017, this immersive art venue features emerging experiential artists. Visitors make their way through 5,000 square feet of adventures in the form of art installations - exhibits have included everything from large-scale new media productions to retro-futurism to yarn. Yes, yarn. It's unexpected, imaginative, and impressive. Jencey and Cole both have backgrounds rooted in creativity, with a shared philosophy rooted in melding human behavior with innovative and honest design. Cole cut his teeth in the advertising world at agencies like The Richards Group, TracyLocke and Javelin. Classically trained and deeply inspired by the film industry, Cole's highly conceptual ideas and expert design skills lend themselves to build the impossible. During his career he's specialized in developing ways to integrate traditional branding with innovative design that will drive results. He has more than 16 years of experience in art and creative direction, from boutique agencies and architecture firms to Omnicom leaders, creating award-winning campaigns for luxury brands, beverage companies to Fortune 5 Telecom. A true entrepreneur at heart and perpetual optimist, Jencey wears many hats at Sweet Tooth Hotel and is focused on growing their next Dallas flagship location into a creative incubator that will move throughout the US long term. Professionally, she started her career in live entertainment at Clear Channel Radio and moved into digital marketing and experiential activaitons for companies such as the AT&T Performing Arts Center and Fossil Group. She understands how to navigate the world of experiential and social media to generate brand buzz and successfully engage an audience. Her mission is to provide a platform for artists, a joyful space for guests and to embrace creativity to birth the unexpected.

Produced by Grammy-nominee and BR549 founder Chuck Mead, Bullseye ranges from catchy pedal steel-filled numbers (“Everything I Know”) to two-step worthy tunes (“Here Come The Blues”) to never before recorded fan live favorites (“Rattlesnake Whiskey” and “Saturday Night Town”).

He began showing paintings in 2014 and has exhibited his artwork every year since in multiple galleries and other public venues. In this episode, Larry talks to creative strategist Robby Wells. While he never planned it, Robby Wells is Dallas-born creative (and strategist in some circles) who never quite expected to wear the many hats he wears in his day-to-day. “Being classified as a creative is somewhat relative. I find myself if some situations where I am the most creative guy around. Later that day, I am in another meeting and I may as well be in a suit. I am cool with that. It has taken me many, many years to realize I am at my best when I am supporting the most creative, progressive ideas in the room - no matter whose ideas they are.” After an early start on the business side of the internet, he found himself advising big boring brands on how to use the web for marketing. 10 years ago, and on behalf of one of those big boring brands, he found himself presenting ideas to Pharrell Williams. While nothing came of the relationship between Pharrell and the big brand, that meeting served as the beginning of an on-going collaboration between Robby and Pharrell that lasts til this day. Among his many roles, Robby is a longtime employee of I am OTHER, Pharrell’s creative collective that works across music, film, television, fashion, health & wellness and events. After wearing a number of hats at I am OTHER, Robby has settled into a marketing strategy role across Pharrell-owned businesses and serves as Executive Producer of Pharrell’s groundbreaking culture- and community festival Something in the Water in Virginia Beach. About 2 years ago, Robby launched Music.com and is working hard to re-ignite a rich culture of storytelling that celebrates the inspiration and motivation of musicians. And last but not least, Robby is Business Director of WØRKS - a design and culture-obsessed creative consultancy whose clients include NIKE, Kanye West, Peloton, Beyonce, Fear of God, KITH, John Elliott and more.
