**One of the best ways to ignite your own cozy FIRE is to live life as a lazy digital nomad. And all you need to do is browse the Internet and type things on your keyboard. We're lighting a FIRE the easy way on the ProcrastiN8r Podcast 2 weeks ago (lvl 11. I said 10 but it's 11 and I'm too lazy to re-record the whole thing) we talked about how to FIND your niche. Today we're looking at.... Top 10 Ways on how to WRITE CONTENT for your niche...with as little effort as possible Without further ado, let's BURN...right into it You can't just blog to everybody! Blogging to everybody is blogging to nobody. Find. Your. Niche. NEWSJACKING (or as I call it “Procrasi-logging) involves finding a relevant trending topic and repurposing it for your own blog 10. Look at Your Competition AppSumo Look up a topic, then see the top articles related to that keyword View social media share stats for Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit as well as Total Engagement. Evergreen score (how long after it's published is it still being shared?) Take a look at magazine websites (headlines, images, language/slang used) Subscribe to top content creators in your niche. To find blogs, get an RSS Reader like Feedbin, Feedly, Inoreader, or Flipboard Listen to podcasts. Watch YouTube and Twitch. 9. Read the News Search Google News for a topic related to your niche and look at the top articles. Go to a site like AllTop or Reddit to find topic specific news (niche specific) Look at an article, video, or podcasts as if you're in the room talking to them in a conversation. What can you add to the conversation? What insight is missing? Can you add a joke or something funny? 8.See What People Are Talking About and How They Are Engaging RedditList Type keyword related to niche, find relevant subreddits You could look at the official Reddit as well to find But Redditlist includes Subscriber rank (compared to other subreddits) and subscriber growth. Reddit list does NOT include all subreddits. Search relevant hashtags on Twitter, groups or Pages on Facebook, Pins on Pinterest, stories and posts on Instagram. See which posts are getting the most engagement and what type of emotional reaction the commenters are having. Write content that purposely sparks that emotion in your language (anger, sadness, joy, laughter, fear, etc.) Look at the comments of what people are saying on reddit, blog posts, and news sites. Pay attention to what's happening in the conversation. Are there points you agree with and could build upon with your own spin or maybe something you disagree with. 7. Find Out What People Are ASKING About What do people in your niche want to know? What are some common problems or concerns? Attend Livestreams and Webinars. Take notes not only on the content itself but What are people asking? What kind of comments are they saying? Look at FAQs of sites within your niche and build content answering them in your own words. (eg. There might be “How do I get rid of background noise like fans in my audio?” on a software like Audacity or Adobe Audition or “How do I promote my brand on Facebook” on a site related to online marketing or “How do I receive dividends?” on a stock exchange site/app) 6. Always C&P Participate in forums and Reddit discussions yourself. Comment on FB posts, YouTube videos, Instagram photos. Answer questions on Quora, ehow, or Yahoo Answers. Amazon and other shopping sites are great if your niche is more product focused; you can look at the reviews and asked questions. Copy and Paste your own comments into a note taking app like Evernote, Microsoft OneNote, Dropbox Paper, or Google Keep. Tag it with relevant tags and give it a title so you'll remember the gist of what you're saying at a glance. Include a link to the comments. Color code it to make it easy to find in the future Remember: it's important to ALWAYS copy & paste your comment BEFORE you even post it, maybe even create a note first and copy it from there. Because if someone deletes your comment or their post or changes the privacy settings or blocks you (or shuts down the website altogether if it's a forum/blog), it's gone FOREVER. You can't necessarily rely on the Web Archive.org. Keep your own records of the thing you say online related to your niche. You'll thank me later. 5. Save It For Later Take advantage of Pinterest's “secret boards” to collect ideas for blogs or craft projects in the future Similarly, you can save links, images, and videos on FB's Save for Later feature. You can change your privacy settings for a specific post you create so “Only You” can see it then just save it for later. You can Save Reddit posts and comments. Save articles you find on the web & you plan to re-write or read/comment on with the click of a button using a bookmarking app like Evernote Webclipper, Pocket, Pinboard, or Instapaper. You can also just use the built-in bookmarking feature in your browser, since nowadays you can signin to Chrome or FireFox or Edge or whatever and sync your bookmarks and history across multiple devices. 4. Chat it up! In your daily life, you talk to your friends and family about the things you like. Take note of the points made in the conversation or use the recording app on your phone. The note apps (google Keep, etc) also allows to save voice notes. Or heck, record the conversation (with permission, don't be a creep) on your phone. Start a forum topic and see where the discussion leads. Repurpose it for a blog post. When you reach enough notoriety and level of trust and authority, people will come to you with questions on social media. Actually reach out and talk to people. Hit them up in their DMs. Note the type of questions they're asking you. And if you're not established as a source of authority in your niche yet: Find people that are. Interview guests. Record it then transcribe it, using the autotranscibe tool Scribie. All you do is ask questions and they give answers. You don't even have to know anything. 3. Share It Write a quick blurb about a video or photo or infographic and share it as a post You can even re-word top rated comments already said on other sites. This is one of the laziest ways to create content. Find something already being liked and shared then make a comment similar to one that's also being liked/upvoted/gilded in your blog post. 2. Rinse & Repeat it Find a way to recycle old content, dig it back up and make it look a bit different by re-wording it. This works well if your in a niche that requires advice. You'll find yourself repeating the same advice over and over again. But that's okay, our brains learn from repeated information and stimuli. Use an online thesaurus to get suggestions for alternative words to use in your writing. You can also take a specific quote from an interview and do a deep dive/analysis of it. All that is is rewording what the person said in several different ways. The only thing you are doing is taking previously written or spoken words and rearranging them or replacing them with similar words. You simply express the content using different vocabulary. See what I did there? 1. Go Behind the Scenes Show pictures of your office, recording setup, gear, etc. Show things from your personally life (the game you're playing, the movie you're watching, the pizza you're eating, etc.) You should only do this on occasion. The site is about your niche and not your personal diary. 0. Talk about what you already talked about but do it a bit different Self explanatory. You get the point now. What to Avoid Writing: Verbatim (word for word) Fake News (unless that's your niche) Sounding boring How to Find Your Niche the Easy Way I said this episode was Lvl 10, but it's actually Lvl 11 and I'm too lazy to re-record and fix it. Meh whatever. You'll figure it out. Get Free Images for Your Blog: FreePik NeedPix**

An episode from THE BIBLE Baptist Church, a Bible believing, Bible preaching church in DeLand, Florida. What THE BIBLE Baptist Church (TBBC) Believes: “A church is not a social organization or a club. It is a gathering of men and women who have put their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. These people meet together to worship the Lord, to praise Him, to encourage one another to live lives pleasing to the Savior and to be instructed in the truths of the Holy Bible. It is also a place from which these believers go forth, individually and in groups, to spread the gospel of Christ Jesus to men and women the world over. The extent to which the blessing of the Lord abides upon a church and the effectiveness of a church in the aforementioned areas depends upon its understanding of and obedience to the words of God. There are certainly clearly stated truths found in scripture to which all believers must steadfastly adhere. A collection of individuals, each living in accord with their opinions or religious notions, can accomplish little for Christ. A gathering of men and women who have a like-minded faith in a foundational set of Biblical truths can do great things for the Lord. Below are those truths upon which we have built THE BIBLE Baptist Church. Should you have other questions please feel free to ask. Our people and leaders are available and more than happy to let you know what we do and why. It is our hope and prayer that the Lord will direct you to become a vital part of the gospel work which He has given us to do.” You may write to THE BIBLE Baptist Church at: 872 Glenwood Rd. Our mission as an assembly is threefold: - To Exalt the Saviour! Eph. 3:21 - To Edify the Saints! Eph. 4:16 - To Evangelize the Sinners! Lk 24:47 What we believe about the Scriptures: We believe that the scriptures of both Old and New Testament are verbally inspired of God, that they are the supreme and final authority for faith and practice, and are preserved in the Authorized Version (KJV 1611) of the Bible. 2 Timothy 3:16. Psalm 12:6-7. What we believe about God: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That God is supreme in His person, absolute in His attributes, glorious in His perfection, and eternal in His being. 1 John 5:7. What we believe about Jesus: We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ. His conception by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, His bodily resurrection, His exaltation at God's right hand, and His personal imminent, pre-millennial, and pre-tribulation return. Matthew 1:20. 2 Corinthians 1:21. Ephesians 1:7. Luke 24:6, 39. 1 Timothy 2:5. What we believe about Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, one with the Father and the Son, the indweller of every believer to enlighten, guide, and enable him in life, testimony, and service, and seal each believer until the day of redemption of the body. John 15:26. John 14:7 What we believe about man: We believe that God created man in His image and likeness (a triune being: spirit, soul, and body) in a state of innocence's, but through temptation, he willingly transgressed, became dead in trespasses and sins. As a result, his posterity (all men) inherited a corrupt nature, are born in sin, and are under condemnation. Genesis 1:26. Psalm 51:5. Romans 5:12. One of the best ways to ignite your own cozy FIRE is to live life as a lazy digital nomad. Get Free Images for Your Blog: FreePik NeedPix
In today's episode of The Art of Passive Income—Round Table edition, Mark is joined by: Mike Zaino Cynthia Tripathi Tate Litchfield Erik Peterson Scott Todd TODAY'S TOPICS How do you define success? Success can mean different things to different people. The group all go over what success means to them. There is one common element reiterated by all, and that is TIME—having the time and freedom that this business allows us to have, to spend with loved ones and to do the things that you enjoy doing. We also talk about shutting down for the holidays. But Scott throws that one right out of the window—Shut down? There is no shutting down in the land business! Does Amazon shut down? No, let it roll baby! It all comes down to SYSTEMS. Having systems in place, the machine will keep rolling with or without you… if you choose. Once you build a system, the system doesn't have to stop just because you're on vacation or relaxing—The machine keeps operating. -Scott Listen in, as everyone shares their year end processes and plans. TIP OF THE WEEK Mark: Check out GetPocket.com to save unfinished articles, blogs, podcasts, videos etc. for later— And you can also continue them offline. Scott: This is a life tip—have an unlimited phone plan! Tate: If you are using the new iPhone iOS 11.2, very shortly, you'll be able to collect down payments via the Apple Pay Now button. If you're texting with a potential buyer, you can go ahead and request a down payment directly through your messaging app, instantly. Erik: Check out Alltop.com—a tool to search for any media content by keyword, and you can also share it to social media or your buyers lists. Mike: It's all about perspective. There are two types of Mandalas, the Taizokai and the Kongokai. One of them is the God's eye view of the world and the other is the personal person's view. I believe we're building a box with this model. Inside we have five plates that we're trying to turn into gears—connecting them together. We want to be outside that box with the macro view. But sometimes we have to tinker; we have to go inside and have that micro view and fix some of the systems. When you're looking at this business and you're trying to figure out how we all automate and do everything fully functional without sticking our hands in it, it's good to have that macro and micro view of things. If you're inside of it, you tinker. But sometimes you need to take a big step back and look at it and see how the parts are feeding each other. Cynthia: Check out the video, How I Made a Million Dollars by Noah Kagan. It's a good video for land investors who are in the beginning of their career. Noah puts a lot of things in perspective and gives his timeline of how long it took him to make a million, plus all the things he failed at. He puts a different spin on it and it's really engaging. Isn't it time to create passive income so you can work where you want, when you want and with whomever you want?
During an adoption process, there can be so many unknowns - so many hills and valleys. There are times when you see hope and you can see God working right before your very eyes, and then other times it seems like maybe God can't hear ... but later you see how God was working all along, even behind the scenes. Join Amy as she chats with the new staff member of Embrace Grace, Ali Alltop! Ali is working as the Creative Director and is just what this organization needed. Ali shares about her role in the ministry as well as her recent adoption earlier this year of baby Miracle. It's an amazing story that you will not want to miss! Tune in and share with your friends!
Today's Guest: Guy Kawasaki, entrepreneur, former Apple evangelist, author of Enchantment, Reality Check. I defy you to pick any page in a Guy Kawasaki book – any page at all – and not come away a little smarter, a little inspired, or at least a little entertained. And that’s setting the bar pretty low; I found there was often too much of a takeaway when I read his last two books, Reality Check last year and his latest, Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds, and Actions. GUY KAWASAKI audio excerpt: "I'm just a social media whore-- what can I tell you? The important thing is that you give the illusion you're working hard!" You can LISTEN to this interview with GUY KAWASAKI, author of ENCHANTMENT and REALITY CHECK, by clicking the audio player above! His wife might think he needs to take out the garbage or otherwise help out more around the house, but as a reader and a fan, I think Kawasaki does too much already. He’s making the rest of us look lazy based on his productivity. There are the books – ten and counting – the businesses, including Alltop.com – the keynote speaking engagements, the blog for American Express, and his founding partnership in Garage Technology Ventures. He still speaks so highly of Apple – where he rose to fame as its chief evangelist more than 24 years ago – that many people think he’s still on the payroll. (And he’s not doing much to dissuade them by having Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak quoted on the front cover saying, “Read this book to create a company as enchanting as Apple.”) In Enchantment, Kawasaki dissects enchantment like a high school student would a frog, making it clear that a concept that may seem ephemeral to some is actually quite easily studied, learned and duplicated. You just need the desire to start.
Guy Kawasaki is the co founder of Alltop.com, an, online magazine rack, of popular topics on the web. Previously, he was the chief evangelist of Apple. Guy is the author of many best selling books such as Enchantment, Reality Check, The Art of the Start, and most recently, What the Plus which is all about google plus.
Today’s post reminds me why I love doing this podcast so much. Not only is the material great, but it comes from two of my favorite people—a power couple in the online marketing world. Their names are Joshua and Jill Stanton and together, they run a business called Screw The Nine To Five where they teach people who are dissatisfied with their day-to-day jobs how to take their skills and transform them into a self-run online business. Whether you’re well on your way in creating your online business, just getting started, or even simply circling the waters trying to decide whether to get your feet wet, this post is tailor-made for you. It’s all about mining the raw material from which online businesses are built, and crafting it into the cornerstone of your success. Entrepreneurs are an idea-happy bunch. You probably have tons of ideas swimming in your head right now. Maybe you’ve even grown used to hearing people say “That’s crazy” or “Wow—that’s going to take you a long time.” It’s never a good idea to pay much attention to the naysayers. The fact is that nearly every idea is a good one, if you can figure out how to make it profitable. That’s where Jill and Josh come in. They are showcasing some of their concrete strategies for determining any idea’s profitability. Actually, we’ve condensed their strategies into a series of four step-by-step tests that you can run any idea through. Spoiler alert—those tests are today’s free download. Click here to get it now. EPISODE FREEBIE Get the Free Step-by-Step Guide: "The 4 Profit Validation Tests" FREE DOWNLOAD Josh and Jill have been making money online for quite a while, but their spunkily named website came about after they were asked repeatedly how they did it. They decided to start a program specifically for training others to do the same thing they did--a place where they could just send everyone asking their advice. Ever since, they've been helping people see how they can translate their day job skills into an online job that generates way more income in way less time. In other words, you don't have to learn a brand new skill set in order to start an online business. You simply take what you know and strategically build a business around it. The "strategic" part is where we can all use Josh and Jill's expertise. Because of course you need to see whether your idea for how to translate your skills to your own business has wings...or not. Odds are it does, but it's not going to be a get-rich-quick situation. However, if you put the passion and hustle and hard work into it, you'll be amazed what you can do online. I can speak to this personally. Back when I was working my own 9-to-5, I was dreaming of starting my own online business but resigned to the fact that none of my knowledge would translate into the outside world. All it took was a good friend who reminded me that I worked in marketing...something every online business needs to know how to do well. I was sitting on a gold mine. You might be, too. Here are the four tests that will help you find out. Test #1: Udemy.com This is best suited to people who might want to sell digital products or programs. Udemy is an online learning marketplace. They have five million customers and they have digital products and programs ranging from everything from crocheting to IT. In other words, there's a lot of opportunity here. I have to say, it's pretty great that there is a resource like Udemy, where you can simply go and see if somebody else is currently making money with your course idea. It’s that simple. Test #2: Amazon.com This, again, is best suited to digital products and programs. But you can also use it if you want to start a service-based business. It’s not limited to information products. As you may know, people can skew their Amazon ratings by canvassing their audience to buy books or post reviews at certain key periods of time. But ratings and reviews aren't what you're after. The sales results are what you really want to know about, and those are updated hourly by Amazon. The way to make sure you are getting an honest reading of sales results is to look for a few different books in that category that are in that lower ranking. You can open up a whole bunch of different listings and see how well that topic, in general, is performing. Get all of Josh and Jill's insights on these four profit validation tests. Click here to listen to Podcast Episode #49 in full. Test #3: Google Keyword Tool It's really important to discover if there is an audience for you to market your great idea. One tool for this is Google’s free keyword planner tool. (You can find it by simply Googling “keyword planner.") It allows you to run a search for any keyword or phrase and find out how many people per month are searching for that phrase. It’s a really great way of gauging how big an audience is searching just Google alone. For example, enter the keyword phrase “how to become a real estate agent” and you'll see that that search gets 14,800 searches per month. In other words, almost 15,000 people every single month on Google are trying to find information on how to become a real estate agent. So if you already are a real estate agent, there's an opportunity for you to offer a course that guides people down the path to becoming certified. Test #4: Facebook Ads This final test is where you go when a Google search doesn't turn up any results. What that usually means is that the people in that market aren’t seeking their answers on Google. Instead, they're probably on Facebook. To find out what kind of audience is waiting for you on Facebook, you want to find blogs within your industry...blogs that nearly always have Facebook Pages associated with them. Alltop.com is a service that lists every single blog, all of the top blogs, in any category. Search on Alltop, and you're likely to find the industry that you work in right now under one of those categories. When you select that category, it will bring up a list of all the top blogs in that industry. You can go through those sites and see if they have a link that goes through to a Facebook Page. Once you discover their Facebook Page, you will then use Audience Insights to see what size of audience they have and what demographic it lies in...what age range, what interest group, what gender, etc. (Audience Insights is a tool that is located inside your Facebook Ads Manager.) Essentially what you are doing is targeting your already existing competitors to see what kind of audience they've already built up. Later on, you can use that information to run ads to those same people to sell your own products and services. What Next? If you put your idea through these four tests and find its profitability is validated on all four...well, then, it might just be time start creating a program or product. Even if your idea is validated on just one or two of the tests, I agree with Josh and Jill that it is definitely worth pursuing. You just have to make sure you are actually willing to commit the time and energy to really giving this a good go. As I said earlier, creating an online business not an overnight thing, by any means. It’s going to take some time. But these tests will also give you insight on where you want to be spending that time, as well as where you want to price your product. If you want to see these ideas in action, you can join Josh and Jill in an upcoming webinar called the Money Test Webinar. In this free online class, Josh and Jill will walk you through each of the four validation tests, step by step. You can get the sign-up link by downloading our free guide...which will be very helpful to use in the webinar, I might add. Click here to get in now. ----------------------------------------------------- Listener Q&A: Keith asks: Should he be worried about the fall-out related to the radiation from the incident in Fukishima, Japan, and wants to know whether he needs to be concerned about health and radiation, and what can do about it - especially for his children. Should he avoid mushrooms and other fungi? What else should he avoid? What supplements might help? In my response to Keith, I recommend: -Metal Free Heavy Metal Detoxification Formula combined with Body Detox - follow use instructions for these exactly as on bottles. Dr. David Minkoff recommends to take Metal Free in the morning and Body Detox before bed. -6mg of iodine per day -1-2 servings edible clay per day (i.e. Edible Earth) -Oral magnesium in supplemental form (around 400-600mg/day, or until you get loose stool) -A high quality greens supplement -Full spectrum antioxidant -High quality omega 3 + Vitamin D ad Vitamin A supplementation (i.e. cod liver oil). Recommend SuperEssentials and TwinLab Cod Liver Oil. Finally, I highly recommend Dr. Mark Sircus's book: "Nuclear Toxicity Syndrome". ------------------------------------------------------ Toni asks: Husband is an endurance bike racer who is not sleeping well and is constantly fatigued, but doctors won't acknowledge it as real. What can help? In my response to Toni, I reference this article I did on adrenal fatigue: What To Do When You're Overtrained, including this anecdote: 1. Frequent Cold Exposure – Cold immersion can lower inflammation, and markers of inflammatory damage such as CRP or interleukin – which allows the body to bounce back faster from an overreached state. In my case, I have access to a very cold river that currently runs at about 40-45 degrees Farenheit, so when I saw those HRV scores begin to drop, I began full body immersion for 20-30 minutes a day, 1-2x/day (you can also achieve this in an ice bath if you live in a warmer climate without access to a cold body of water). I combined with wearing 110% compression tights and shirt filled with ice sleeves while I was sitting at home working. 2. Adaptogenic Herbs – I use a Chinese Adaptogenic Herb complex called Tian Chi, and I began to double dose on an empty stomach 1-2x/day, in mid-morning and/or mid-afternoon. The ingredients of Tian Chi include compounds that help to relieve adrenal gland stress and support proper adrenal function, including ashwaganda, eleuthero, epemedium and gotu kola. These type of compounds are incredibly effective at restoring function to your adrenal glands when you've been asking yourself to churn out adrenaline, epinephrine, norepinephrine, etc. with day after day of hard training. 3. Deep Sleep – During deep sleep, your body releases large amounts of growth hormone for repair and recovery, and initiates cellular turnover that can speed up removal of “junk” from a taxed musculoskeletal system. Once I saw my HRV score drop, my goal was to get myself into a deep sleep phase as quickly as possible, and I did this by using an Earthpulse Sleep Machine device to activate my “deep sleep” Delta brain waves, along with sleeping in a very dark room, using 500mg magnesium before bed, and making sure to use my blue-light blocking glasses at any point after 4pm in the afternoon. 4. Anti-Inflammatory Diet – Because they result in a net acidic load when you metabolize them, pro-inflammatory foods will increase inflammation and increase your pain from the inflammation. These include processed meats, foods high in omega 6 fatty acids like roasted seeds and nuts, pastries and cereals, starches, and even nightshade plants like regular potatoes, tomatoes, and eggplant. When you're injured or overtrained and looking for every available advantage, you should instead prioritize foods with natural anti-inflammatory properties, like dark-skinned fruits and vegetables (pomegranates, cherries, blueberries, plums, artichokes, spinach and broccoli are excellent), high amounts of omega-3 fatty acids (cold-water fish, cod liver oil, fish oil, etc.) and natural herbal anti-inflammatories like turmeric, curcumin, garlic and ginger, or something like Capraflex, which has all that. Jeff asks: How can you recover from a lateral meniscus removal? He has some hyaluronic acid and capraflex. In my response to Jeff, I mention this free meniscus repair rehab program pdf. ------------------------------------------------------ Jenna asks: Are there any athletic or performance benefits from vibration plates? Can you lose weight from just standing on it? In my response, I mention Power Plate vibration platforms. ------------------------------------------------------ Michael asks: What does Ben think of the "Elevation Training Mask", specifically the 2.0 version? In my response, I mention the Elevation Training Mask. Bree asks: What is the difference between sprouting and soaking? ------------------------------------------------------ Augie asks: What are your top RSS feeds for exercise, performance, fitness, diet, etc? -Fitness.AllTop.com (varies) -StoneHearthNewsletters.com (varies) -TheEatingAcademy.com (Peter Attia) -PerfectHealthDiet.com (Paul Jaminet) -Cholesterol-and-health.com (Chris Masterjohn) -International Medical Veritas Association (Mark Sircus) -LifeHacker.com (varies) -TrackYourPlaque (Dr. William Davis) -Everymantri.com (Roman Mica) -EndurancePlanet.com -BenGreenfieldFitness.com ------------------------------------------------------ Deb asks: What to do about sugar with coffee addiction? In my response to Deb, I recommend: -VIDEO: 5 Powerful Calorie Control Tricks To Help You Eat Less Food: http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/2011/10/appetitecontrol/ -VIDEO: 5 Ways To Suppress Your Appetite Without Taking Any Special Pills or Capsules: http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/2011/05/5-ways-to-suppress-your-appetite-without-taking-any-special-pills-or-capsules/ -PODCAST: How To Stop Carbohydrate Cravings In Their Tracks: http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/2011/08/episode-160-how-to-stop-carbohydrate-cravings-in-their-tracks/ -PODCAST: Inner Circle Free Episode: How To Stop Sugar & Carbohydrate Cravings In Their Tracks: http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/2010/10/inner-circle-podcast-3-how-to-stop-sugar-carbohydrate-cravings-in-their-tracks/ -ARTICLE: A Simple Six-Step System for Eliminating Food Cravings: http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/2010/05/a-simple-six-step-system-for-eliminating-food-cravings/ -ARTICLE: How To Fight Candy Cravings: http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/2012/10/how-to-fight-candy-cravings/ Finally, I recommend Deb check out The Diet Dominator at http://www.thedietdominator.com ------------------------------------------------------ Panka says: I want to increase my body weight, am super-skinny, and want to become a mesomorph from an ectomorph. What would be a good diet and exercise plan? In my response to Panka, I mention my book "Get Fit Guy's Guide To Achieving Your Ideal Body" at http://www.GetFitGuy.com ------------------------------------------------------ Seth asks: How to interpret your training logs and use them to get better? In my response to Seth, I mention Sami Inkinen's "Incurable Data Geek" and Joe Friel's Training blog. Mention things like cardiac drift, average power/speed, RPE, recovery time what I personally do: heart rate variability, how fast I ride to the YMCA, how fast I can do 10x30s sprint on treadmill, how fast I can swim 10x100 ------------------------------------------------------ Craig wants to know how to maintain a high run cadence. ------------------------------------------------------ Thomas wants to know if you could increase your risk of heart attack from cold exposure since when you train in the cold the cold weather on your torso speeds your heart rate up but cold on your face slows your heart rate down. He wants to know if he should cover his hands and feet. ------------------------------------------------------ 7 year old Lucas wants to know what he should eat before his hockey games. In my response, I mention my article: 5 Ways That Workout Nutrition Should be Different For Young People and Children ------------------------------------------------------ Joe wants to know why his body temperature is down to 92.6 degrees. Also, if you're in the first two weeks of your cycle your temperature will be about 1/2 degree lower than the second half. Even malnutrition and starvation can cause your body temperature to be low, but it's probably because the body down regulates the thyroid so you'll live longer. In my response to Joe, I mention WellnessFX or DirectLabs for getting these kind of tests done, and also recommend a Spectracell analysis.
