This is a testament to how using the patterns of nature and the sun and the moon brings lasting change and creates holistic medicine.Sun Simiao lived to the ripe old age of 141, “desires are needed, emotions are needed,.. just don’t overdo it” Among the 22 original practices he created, Sun Simiao included many specific habits which went into detail about when to bath and wash, and where to buy a house etc. All these habits can contribute to having a harmonious relationship between husband and wife and your partners.Hope you enjoy listening to this episode. With Love,CCMS.❤️Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/classicalchinesemedicinesociety/overview)

To be of standard you must have no desire, no thoughts of yourself and absolute focus on helping the patient.- Humans are not above animals and as such living creatures must be used as a last resort for medicine.- A doctor of Chinese Medicine doesn't treat just the patient, their role is to balance out the energies of Yin and Yang for the benefit of Society, Earth and the Cosmos.- And lastly, there is a distinct difference between running a business and being a Classical Chinese Medicine Doctor.Happy listening and see you soon for part 2.We have also attached a brief translation of some of Sun Simiao's code of ethics or principles on our Facebook Page below for your reference:https://www.facebook.com/CCMSociety/posts/10160276193207619Enjoy.

In this podcast Dr. Bisong touches on the interplay of YinYang in both our own bodies and the cultures of the East and West.Talking points include:- In history the East has operated on cultivating invisible principles and the West has focused on cultivating the Physical and Material.- The fundamental design for Earth is balance. On a global scale this means different societies operating with opposing values is necessary for the world to function. - Having a birds eye perspective of the Earth and Bigger Picture is also necessary for balance and health inside our own bodies.- Chinese Medicine is built on the principle of an ecosystem. One thing affects another and the energetic ecosystem will always react to keep the balance. This means every action we take as a part of our own ecosystems will have repercussions on ourselves and the whole.- The push to develop AI as a solution to our problems comes from reductionist thinking and represents a fundamental misunderstanding about our own psychology, consciousness and how nature operates. - If humans continue to develop technology without it being virtue based, it will spell disaster for the ecosystem which we all depend on.- The reason that churches, temples and masters exist is because we have separated our heart, mind and body and have lost contact with this governing ecosystem. This means we have also lost contact with our own bodies ecosystem and believe that the external is different from who we are.- When you wake up in the morning, drinking water, ginger and honey is a good harmonising way to start you day.Have a day full of Heart,Love CCMS.☯️Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/classicalchinesemedicinesociety/overview)

In this podcast Dr. Bisong gives an update on the situation in China and some strategies which have helped them deal with the virus:Some of the topics discussed include:- Why in the Gansu province after Chinese Medicine was introduced as a treatment there was an 87.9% cure rate from the virus.- Why an early lock down is so important in the response to pandemics and how this reflects the statistics of the spread of coronavirus in China.- Why there is a necessity for immediately categorising the severity of the infected individuals and placing them into different areas.- In China today Western Medicine is predominant and Chinese Medicine is viewed as unscientific. During this pandemic however, the central government forced both medicines to work together like an arranged marriage. In this particular case the arranged marriage worked out and Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine were able to mix and work well together. The glue which bound this together was the common heart which all doctors and volunteers shared; in forgetting about their own opinions and doing everything they could to treat those who were suffering and needed love and care.- Chinese Medicine does not treat just the virus, instead it treats the whole body.Immunity from Pandemics Conference:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZ7i5GZ-xL8Free Chinese Medicine Consultation:https://promo.guahao.com/en/global/pneumonia/?_cp=yhcbz0315&cs=share&from=singlemessage&isappinstalled=0Enjoy!

In this episode we talk about how the five virtues can be integrated into life. The discussion takes off by talking about the kidneys and the lower chakra systems and how they relate to our position in society, our security and our bodily health. It then moves on to how the virtues can be used as a tool to move up into the heart and the higher chakras, and how True security lies in finding our soul family and the inner world inside us.Shortly after there is a brief discussion on Newton and why after he discovered gravity, he still looked for something which explained why this interaction arose in the first place.Next is a quick and important mention of how staying in your heart is a way to guide yourself into higher states and also what will stabilise you into holding that divine state. Finally Dr. Bisong tells a story about an ascended Daoist master and his relationship with a Tiger which demonstrates a profound message about the underlying vibration behind our interactions in life (and life itself) and how virtues are linked in with this.Hope you enjoy listening.Love CCMS.☯️NB: We would like to apologise for this recording, as an alarm went off in the carpark and sits behind the recording for a few minutes at the end of the episode. In part 5 of this series Dr. Bisong discusses the relationship between the Spleen and the virtue of Fidelity.Talking points include:- The Spleen is responsible for transporting and transforming the nutrients we take in and sending it to the rest of the body.- The Human Being is small, thinking we know everything. This stops us from trusting nature and separates us from ourselves.- The I Jing illustrates a ‘yellow river map’ where the spleen is located in the centre of the yinyang. This is part of the universal design - If you have strong trust and a strong spleen, it will hold your centre stable and guide your direction in life.- Trust is the basis of everything. At a certain point knowledge can not necessarily take you any further, and you have to let go and ‘trust’ in order to move into the deeper practise.I hope you enjoyed this series on the Five Virtues & The Five Organs. Next week will be one final summary on how these virtues can be integrated and lived in daily life.Trust on..Love CCMS.☯️Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/classicalchinesemedicinesociety/overview)

In part 4 of this series Dr Bisong discusses the relationship between the Kidneys and the virtue of Wisdom.Talking Points Include:- The De Dao Jing says the superior virtue IS like water. In this case the Kidneys hold a special place amongst the virtues.- When you don’t push or when you don’t try to do it, you are the biggest and the best doer.- The importance of listening to your body and going with the flow.- In principle looking soft means you are filled up with yang and like a growing tree will flow and flex in the wind. Looking hard means you are dry and just like a tree will snap under the pressure of the wind.- Kidney essence nourishes the brain marrow. - Zhi & Hui is innate wisdom and acquired intelligence. Acquired intelligence is the intellect and innate wisdom comes from the much deeper silence within.- These days societies emphasis is placed on how well people can talk and think, but this suppresses the Zhi or wisdom. The more people are thinking, the more their kidney essence is drained.- The sage lives in the virtue of Zhi so therefore the big wise sage looks stupid.- Knowledge is designed to serve the wisdom.- The virtue of Zhi or wisdom is no competition, no fight, consistent willpower, selflessness and to shine the light from within to enter the Dao.- The prosperous and healthy society is one built on heart, and one which uses wisdom and the willpower of the kidneys to manifest this harmony in society.Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/classicalchinesemedicinesociety/overview)

When people lack respect their lung qi can become weak and this makes them unable to defend themselves against external pathogens.- The nature of the Dao is one of service. Therefore if you are the leader in any field you have to lower yourself in order to truly respect and serve people. This Is the way of the Dao.Hope you enjoy listening.Respectfully,CCMS.

The Five Virtues & The Five Organs:This will be a 5 part series discussing the relationship between the five virtues and the five organs largely taken from the De Dao Jing. The De Dao Jing was the original version of the famous book Dao De Jing written over 2,500 years ago. This text is rarely known to the Western world as it was only discovered by archaeologists in China in 1973 and has yet to be translated into English. The text in part deeply describes five virtues, (which once you connect with) can realign yourself with the principles of nature, and allow yourself to live a much more harmonious existence with yourself and others. The first part of this episode will be an introduction to what virtues or ‘De’ really are, and will focus on the relationship between the Heart and the virtue of Altruism.Talking points include:- De can be perceived as a waterfall which fills up and nourishes your body just as qi does.- That we are innately born with De, but how quickly it can be removed from us when living in society.- The heart has no language and is a totality or oneness just like the De and the Dao, and judgement does not come from the heart at all.- The heart is the ‘most important’ organ or chakra in the body as it is the governor which makes everything function and flow in proper order.Hope you enjoy listening to the first part of this episode. With gratitude and best wishes,CCMS.
