Andrea Owen is our guest today, here to talk about how coaches can start to “make some noise” in their personal lives as well as how they show up with visibility online. “Make some noise” isn't just about speaking up--it's about living your best life and in this episode you can learn about how to start self-coaching to evolve how you show up in your business, including examining white feminism, white exceptionalism, and underlying biases around intersectionality.
Coaching resistant clients can be frustrating--all you want to do is help, and the client is resistant. Some people in the coaching industry simply label such clients as “uncoachable” and say they should be “fired.” I suggest a different approach, because your clients don't *want* to be resistant! They want help getting out of the resistance. This episode is full of questions that you can ask clients to help them get unhooked from resistant spaces, which will allow both you and the client to move forward.
“But where is my business...going?” That's a common question for new and emerging coaches who aren't sure how to approach what their overall coaching business is about. Crafting a business vision can help you to get clear about what you're ultimately creating with your business, and--this is important!--can be a great reminder of what you're creating on difficult days where you encounter business setbacks.
“But what am I ‘doing' when I coach someone?” New and emerging coaches often feel a sense of wanting a coaching philosophy that they can explain to others. Grab a pen and paper as you listen to this episode, so that you can start clarifying your coaching philosophy.https://TeamCLCC.com
