I felt stuck in a life I believed I chose. Knowing I did not want to live my life feeling that way, I made a decision to change my path. I dove into personal development, embraced a growth mindset, and started learning new skills. That allowed me to build a plan and path to a new life, where I live the way I choose. Though my path led me out of law enforcement, it doesn't have to be the same for you. It all begins with reconnecting with your childhood dream or creating a new dream for your life. Whether your goal is to get out of law enforcement ASAP or rejuvenate your career, bringing that passion and fulfillment that led you to the profession back, it all begins with building the best version of yourself. We do this through transforming our *Fitness*Finances &*MindsetThese are the 3 core areas of my life that I focused on which allowed me to make a complete transformation from a disgruntled and unhappy police officer to a thriving entrepreneur, excited to wake up and live my life every day. Are you tired of living your life feeling unhappy, unfulfilled, and stuck? Are you ready to explore what your life could look like? Click on my calendar link below for a free coaching call and let's start building you a life of happiness and fulfillment! https://calendly.com/rchartrand13/45minThank you for taking the time to give this podcast a listen. Join us this week as we discuss High Intensity Strength Training with our guest Richard Chartrand of Sustainable Success.  Richard first discovered “high intensity strength training” around 1981, when reading The Nautilus Bodybuilding Book by Ellington Darden PHD. After years of training with a “More is Better" approach Richard began immediately applying these principles to himself. Along the way he ended up competing in and winning or placing in a few natural bodybuilding contests (while strength training less than 20 minutes per week),  Almost 40 years later, the scientific evidence has reinforced that these ideas expressed in the writings of Ellington Darden and Arthur Jones were far ahead of their time. Richard decided to pursue his passion of helping people to achieve their optimal physical results by starting his own personal training business.  Richard is confident that these methods can help athletes young and old to maximize their performance, but for many of his clients their goal is to “age gracefully” ensuring that their physical independence is maintained well into their golden years.

Series: Usually the more powerful something is, the harder it is to control. Not so with God. After Jesus returned to heaven, God unleashed his power in the world through his Holy Spirit. At the same time, he tied up that power to his Word so that we would always know where we can find it and how we can use it. Today: If God wanted to reach the lost, he could stretch out his hand and do it himself. Or his angels would be a good “Plan B.” Yet the Lord who has powerfully reached our hearts by the Spirit in the Word has given us that power to reach others. He gives us eyes to see the world around us as a ripe harvest field of souls. He gives us feet to go, hands to serve, and mouths to share his untethered power in the Word. In this way God accomplishes his gospel reach through us for the sake of many more.

This week, we have HHAUSA Podcast Producer Logan Chartrand of WhizBang Media joining us once again. Last month, he loaded up his family, left their home state of Missouri and made the 9 hour trek to Wisconsin to partake in his first HHAUSA event. An accomplished 3D and tournament archer, Logan was in for a much different experience than his days on the competition trail.Meeting several of the guests from the podcast who were in Warrens at Mission 17, Chartrand and his family had a great time, able to absorb just how special and lifechanging these shoots are for those who attend. We also discuss the most recent HHAUSA shoot that took place at Waushara Archers in Wautoma, June 4th and 5th. Truly one of the hidden gems here in Wisconsin in the realm of archery ranges, they rolled out the red carpet for us and our guests once again . John Mulligan, AKA Johnny Utah, was up from Iowa and shot the course with us on Saturday with the Chase Nation film crew not far behind. Fellow Hawkeye and HHAUSA regular Tyson Trunkhill presented a bow through his Dust Off Project to Veteran David Garrett who I had the pleasure of shooting the scramble with Saturday night. A wonderful personality with a story to tell, look for David on an upcoming episode soon.Speaking of the next episode, we will be taking a short "summer break" and will not drop a podcast on Friday, June 17th. Look for us to return on the 24th, recharged and ready to continue bringing you some amazing guests over the course of the summer as we see old friends and meet new ones as the 2022 HHAUSA Veterans Archery Shoot Tour picks up steam. If you'd like to make the trip to Wisconsin and join us, we still have four events left between now and the end of August.
