‘All Is Mended' artistic director and actor PHILIP ROBINSON presents a selection of the interviews with elders from local care homes mixed together with music from the theatre show. A tasty teaser for the ears. 'All Is Mended' is a theatre show repurposing ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream', uniting Shakespeare with real-life stories from residents of three local Devon care homes during the Covid-19 pandemic. Caring and being cared for under the spotlight as the words of residents, their families and staff take centre-stage. Writer JEAN RHYS (1890-1979) is best known for her award-winning novel 'Wide Sargasso Sea'. In the later part of her life, she lived in Cheriton Fitzpaine. In this drama documentary - written and presented by MARY STEPHENSON from Colebrooke - we hear about Mary's experiences of helping Jean work on her autobiography. Neville was born in the 1930s and grew up in Coleford and later took over the family farm.
