No matter how often a musical piece is practiced, there is always the chance that the wrong note will be played at the wrong time. However, the angels in heaven who have been tasked with blowing the trumpet to announce the end have been practicing for a.....long.....time! This note has been planned and anticipated since the dawn of creation. It won't be played at the wrong time or out of key! In today's lesson with Pastor Ken, consider if you are ready for this time of judgment.

When you think of angels, you probably think of God's helpers, those who protect and guide. But come the last day, these cherubs will become avenging beings. God turns from grace to judgment, and the angels become flame throwers and warriors. Today Pastor Ken explains when the Lord opens the seventh seal, all of heaven takes notice. The angles have been prepared for this time. They know it's part of the job. Do you want to experience the wrath of God's guardians, or is your name in His book?

Have you heard the phrase, the calm before the storm? In today's lesson with Pastor Ken, you'll see something similar will happen before the day of reckoning. Silence, in the book of Revelation, is followed by judgment. God will bring His decision, and all will fall silent before His throne. This event can't be missed. Christ's people will be spared this final proclamation; the wicked and those who have already perished will be silent, but those left on earth will experience the wrath of the Lord.

Well we spent yesterday concerned about our friends and watching the hurricane coming up the coast to North Carolina.  The last prediction was that it would come right toward us but hopefully by that time it would be just a bad rain storm.  But who knows.  So I woke up at 3 o'clock this morning and I heard the good news.
