Obesity is a great problem in Denmark. More and more Danes reach a BMI greater than 25, which categorizes them as obese. When I came to Lagos I expected to see a completely different world. My first thoughts were, that I didn't see as many obese people here in Lagos as I would back in Denmark. But after doing some research on the topic, I've come to realize that obesity might be a problem here in Nigeria, as it's in Denmark. Data from WHO (World Health Organization) concludes that an obesity epidemic has hit Nigeria.
