I had my first Ayahuasca plant medicine journey in March of 2019 in Costa Rica and it was that experience that completely opened my eyes to a whole new world. Since then I have become a devoted plant medicine advocate and have embarked on several journeys across a variety of sacred healing plants. The path I'm on requires me to work hard on healing past traumas to live a more aligned and sustainable life and create a better world for my kids to grow up in. I recorded this podcast less than 48 hours after the most intense nights of my life and after listening back I realise that I was still very much in the frequency of Ayahuasca and that I was still deep into my integration process. I felt called to share my innermost feelings in this podcast and hope that some of what I say resonates with you listeners as and for those of you who have not had any experience with psychedelics a lot of what I say may be hard to fathom or digest but I implore you to listen with an open mind and an open heart. Host Kash Khan interviews Marc Angelo Copolla, a philanthropist, entrepreneur, founder of Valhalla Coop Farms, and Superhero Academy, which was born from the questions he kept getting at the farm where people were asking how they could build a movement and self sustaining lifestyle as well. In this podcast, Marc talks about his educational experience and how that led him to create Valhalla Farms, ecovillages, the importance of mentorships, and the priority that should be given to building a strong foundation of self love. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “Sustainability is not just a thing you buy. It’s not just a product, it’s not, “Oh, I use reusable bags and I compost. Now I’m sustainable.” It’s a mindset and a lifestyle, and to me that mindset is most embodied through the idea of long term thinking.” “The most empowering education that we can create is finding the right mentors who have walked the path before us, and following in their footsteps, and taking what they taught us and adding the layers upon it and innovating and using the new technologies to essentially enhance that further.” “I think your own personal health and the way you treat yourself is a reflection of how you're going to treat others.” Bullet Points (w/ time stamps) - Highlighting key topics discussed 7:48: Kash asks Marc to talk about Valhalla Farms; Marc says he considers it an experiment where they are building an ecosystem that replicates the forest and he is trying to create small communities that break the consumerist mindset through self-empowerment. 17:22: Kash asks Marc to explain how others could replicate Valhalla Farms in the future for different ecovillage communities. 30:08: Kashs asks Marc if Superhero Academy is meant to empower others to become their own leaders and its connection to Valhalla. Host Kash Khan and co-host Josh Trent interview Matt Maruca, CEO and Founder of Ra Optics, which is one of the top blue light blocking companies in the world. Matt is also known in the biohacking world for intense and deep knowledge on how natural light is necessary for optimal human life and that blue light is a leading contributor to illness and disease. In this podcast, Mat talks about biohacking, the harm blue light has on our circadian rhythm, and how environmental changes impact mitochondrial genes significantly more than nuclear genes within our bodies. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “The glasses are called blue blockers, blue light glasses, to reduce the blue wavelengths that can disrupt a lot of the biological systems like our bodies clock and energy production systems.” “Any change you make in your environment is much more quickly being picked up and effecting your mitochondrial energy production system.” Bullet Points (w/ time stamps) - Highlighting key topics discussed 4:54: Josh asks what the unique struggle was that Matt was going through which led him to creating blue light protection glasses. Matt shares that he was experiencing particularly common ailments that got better upon changing his diet and learning how light controls our circadian rhythm. 8:36: Matt talks about how natural light offsets the negative blue light produced by screens, that blue blocker glasses are key to wear when you’re not getting natural light and explains how the glasses counterbalance the damaging effects of blue light. 12:33: Kash asks Matt what modern chronic diseases he thinks are impacted but the lack of healthy light. Matt responds that he believes that most, if not all, modern diseases are. He explains that light is energy available in our environment and if utilized properly by our bodies we won’t have diseases. 19:37: Josh asks Matt to talk about the science behind eye strength and how it can be passed down through nuclear genes, from parents to child, and through energy production genes, or mitochondrial genes. 21:50: Kash asks Matt how Ra Optics differs from other blue light blocking glasses companies. 27:22: Matt talks about the importance of each individual's circadian rhythm and how it is connected to sleep and wake cycles, organs, genes, etc. 35:10: Kash asks Matt about his mentors including Neurosurgeon Jack Kruse and Douglas Wallace, Director of the Center for Mitochondrial and Epigenomic Medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. 41:16: Josh brings up that mitochondria are not just the powerhouse of a cell, but also also ancient energy systems and asks Matt to contrast mitochondria and epigenetics. 53:15: Joshs asks Matt to explain how wearing blue light blocking glasses can help people who have migraines in two ways. http://mattmaruca.com/about/ https://raoptics.com/ Sponsors: EcoLife Supplements This podcast is proudly supported by EcoLife Supplements, Rythmia Life Advancement Center and our very own Psychedelic Documentary series PANTERA Whilst in Costa Rica last year I came across a guy by the name of Anthony Walsh who handed me a bottle of hemp extract CBD oil and after just taking a few drops I was sold. Host Kash Khan interviews Matthew Ayriss, a Sacred Sexuality Guide, Shamanic-Somatic Healer, Transformational Life Coach, & Conscious Content Producer. In this podcast, Matthew talks about supporting men in understanding their masculinity and unlocking energy channels, the impact enmeshment has on individuals and the deep issues standing in the way of evolving will come forward, and how individuals have the choice to hold themselves accountable and why they may not be doing that. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “I believe that sexual energy is God conscious creativity energy, but it's so distorted. We come from the alchemy of sexual energy. We are born from nothing, essentially, from a microscopic tadpole and an egg, and then these vessels grow and emerge and develop consciousness and self awareness and emotions and experiences, but we come from that energy. So when we learn to work with that energy, we are learning to tap into universal consciousness; we’re tapping into creative life force energy, we’re tapping into the energy that exists to create and manifest anything, but if we’re going to create and manifest anything and we’re doing it through our distorted lens of that energy, and distorted beliefs of that energy, then what we create is going to carry that distortion. As you do the work on yourself, as you come into your purpose, as you come into your self actualization and self realization and self mastery, your frequency is going to shift and that will be felt in everything that you carry out.” Bullet Points (w/ time stamps) - Highlighting key topics discussed 4:43: Matthew talks about his upbringing and constant battle with self image, and how dealing with bullies led him to be distrustful of men therefore finding safety in relationships. He says that he grew up feeling disconnected to himself and by carrying that into adulthood made decisions he needed to rectify later in life. 13:42: Matthew believes that plant medicine isn’t for everyone, and describes that the same level of awakening can be achieved with meditation. 19:00: After listening to Kash’s childhood story, Matthew points out two timelines he sees existing within Kash and explains how that relates to his mascuine and feminine energy. He also discusses how young boys and men are taught that the benchmark of manhood is if you fight or fuck somebody. 26:48: Matthew asks what Kash means when he says he needs support, and he opens up about his relationship and how his need for things to be perfect leads him to avoid the problem or not addressing the issue. Kash says plant medicine allowed him to see the source of his trauma and how that impacts his relationship with his partner. 30:10: Matthew explains what enmeshment is and that when that happens, children take on a different dynamic that is carried into adulthood and future relationships. He uses Kash’s relationship with his mother as an example and focuses on the son to mother dynamic. 34:16: Matthew continues to build on how a person's foundational energy can lead to wavering energy in relationships and how we can seek out relationships that set us up for disappointment. As individuals expand in consciousness and they evolve as an eternal being, anything standing in the way of that will come forward. 41:55: Kash asks Matthew how to implement our ability to change. Matthew says each person has the opportunity to choose to change and he discusses how individuals can stay accountable, some techniques involving daily routines and affirmations. 53:11: Matthew begins to talk about mirror work and Kash stops him because he is having a silly reaction to the self love that mirror work involves, and asks Matthew to overcome the feeling of shame and nervousness. 1:01:10: Kash asks Matthew to talk about the one-on-one coaching he’s done with other men and helping them come into deeper alignment with themselves and the universe. 1:10:00: Kash asks Matthew to explain his other work, and Matthew discusses his role as a healer and intuitive, and the different programs and coaching opportunities he has open. Host Kash Khan interviews Bill Ottman, an internet entrepreneur, freedom of internet activist, and the CEO and co-founder of Minds, a free and open source networking service that rewards its users through the blockchain. In this podcast, Bill talks about an array of topics from the importance of the internet transitioning to a transparent, open source, decentralized direction; to the similarities psychedelics and technology share through the interconnectedness it provides to the individuals who use them. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “Biology and technology is symbiotic.” “Conversation minimizes violence, so if you’re restricting the conversation even though it may be with the intent of reducing hate speech or radicalization, that has a higher likelihood of causing violence and radicalization because you create all these people who think that they're victims, they’re pissed off that they’re censored, and they freak out.” “Our success is not dependent on someone else's failure… you can be successful by doing what you do well and there will be people who are attracted to that.” “By participating in bitcoin you are building a better system.” “I feel like taking psychedelics is like going to a teacher and figuring out what you need to do and the areas you need to work on.” Bullet Points (w/ time stamps) - Highlighting key topics discussed 2:37: Kash asks Bill to explain how he became involved in the technology field, and Bill talks about the platforms our technologies should be built on to ensure a user's freedoms. 8:41: Kash asks Bill why he thinks Facebook doesn't care about the creators and the platform, and after surmising his beliefs, Bill asks Kash the same question. 22:40: Kash asks Bill to talk more about how his networking website Minds works and how it rewards users with tokens, essentially paying users for their data through the revenue Minds generates. 31:00: Kash opens up the conversation for Bill to talk about his psychedelic experiences and what part they have played in his view of life, our planet, and technology. 45:47: Kash and Bill talk about artificial intelligence and the Open AI initiative that Elon Musk created, and the pros and cons Bill sees in it becoming a beautiful resource to help people or pharmaceutical and other companies corrupting the initiative. 56:52: Kash asks Bill to talk about where he believes the future of cryptocurrency lies, and Bill expresses his appreciation for the creator of Bitcoin as well as how cryptocurrency is integrated on his platform Minds. 1:07:43: Bill shares the last book that he read, which was a book of passages by Geroeg Orwell and how relevant they are today considering social media platforms have become silos of communication that are able to censor its users. 1:14:44: Bill talks about the feeling of interconnectedness that psychedelics give you is very similar to navigating through the internet by leaving traces and giving energy to thousands of places every single day. 1:18:00: Kash talks about the importance of intention and being thankful; both Bill and Kash begin discussing vegan and vegetarianism, and how the pace of eating or fasting influences the body and mind in ways similar to psychedelics. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “We live in a world we’re physiologically not designed for.” “When you're busy and everything is constantly pressing on you to do the next thing, it's really hard to have the spaciousness to go into a state of flow or to have that next creative project or idea.” “An important part of how we move forward as a society and as a world is we start to, we take this time of massive change as an opportunity to reflect on what actually matters and start making different choices as we go forward.” “Nothings going to heal us but ourselves and our willingness to heal.” “Develop that increased capacity so you can find the safety in yourself to be able to show up empathetically, vulnerably, and in all the ways that you want to regardless of whether or not everyone can meet you there effectively.” Bullet Points (w/ time stamps) - Highlighting key topics discussed 2:47: James Schamchtenberger talks about his healing journey and the path that led him to co-found Neurohacker Collective with his brother, which creates supplements that aim to increase intelligence, capacity, and empathy within individuals. 10:02: Josh Trent asks James how a supplement is able to make someone more emotionally connected, and James discusses the deep impact humans endure at a chemical level and how supplements can stimulate the areas of the brain and nervous system responsible for empathy and compassion. 16:15: Josh asks James to explain the science behind Qualia products and how they bring nutrients into the human body and the ability to stay in homeostasis, meaning all systems are in balance. 23:12: Josh shares that he has been taking Qualia for the last three years, and Kash asks him to touch on three positive impacts the supplement has had on his well being. 31:28: Josh asks James where he believes creative flow comes from and how Qualia can help individuals create enough capacity within themselves to allow an increased sense of creativity. 38:27: Kash asks James about his history using plant medicine, and James shares that it has been a significant part of his journey and his talks about his experiences with ayahuasca. 49:00 Josh asks James if Qualia is able to rewire the neural pathways in the brain, and James says it has been studied to create new blood flow to the brain and new neuron development. 55:03: James explains how people who identify as empathetic may be mislabeling themselves, and how increasing self awareness can increase empathy by helping the individual recognize if they are being present to what another person needs vs. projecting their past trauma. 1:02:33: For individuals not to project on others, they need to create space to love themselves and James talks about how we can ask ourselves the deeper questions with support from Qualia, plant medicine, etc. and how to continue to ask those questions while staying present and taking our trauma out of our interactions. https://neurohacker.com https://www.facebook.com/neurohackercollective https://www.instagram.com/neurohacker/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCv9hjmC-M77u3E8lUuO1-nQ Sponsors: EcoLife Supplements This podcast is proudly supported by EcoLife Supplements, Rythmia Life Advancement Center and our very own Psychedelic Documentary series PANTERA Whilst in Costa Rica last year I came across a guy by the name of Anthony Walsh who handed me a bottle of hemp extract CBD oil and after just taking a few drops I was sold. Host Kash Khan interviews Rob Greenfield, an activist and humanitarian dedicated to leading the way to a more sustainable and just world. Rob believes that our actions do matter, and that we have the power to improve the world around us. Named the Robin Hood of modern times, Rob donates 100% of his media income to grassroots nonprofits. In this podcast, Rob talks about his passion for biology and sustainability, importance of mindfulness, and how individuals can take small steps into living more sustainably. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “I think the truth is that money creates the illusion of independence. Being able to buy whatever goods and services we need, we’re able to forget that behind what we spend there are people and other species, there are ecosystems.” “It’s all about looking at the scenario that you're in instead of looking at someone else and saying, “Oh, I can't do that.” Look at them and think, “What inspiration can I take from them into the situation that I have?” 3:38: Rob talks about living the American Dream until his environmental awakening that began in 2011, which was the beginning of his transformational journey. 6:32: Kash asks Rob what it takes to be committed to living sustainably, which Rob says is to live an examined life and he explains what that means. 15:28: Rob states how humans have damaged their relationship with nature, and the importance for individuals to reconnect. 18:18: Rob is the extreme version of living sustainability and off the grid, and Kash asks him to give advice on how average people can make lifestyle changes to become the change they want to see in the world. 31:50: Rob discusses his respect for psychedelics, why he has not used them yet, and shares that he has recently felt called to use plant medicine. 37:47: Kash asks Rob about his plans for the future, which for him is pursuing his renewed desire to get back to the land and have a home base where he feels connected. 46:30: Rob shares that he has not suffered from mental illness to the degree that others have, but he practices a few techniques to keep himself mentally healthy and gives advice to others that might help them reduce or control their mental illnesses. 59:45: Rob discusses how he has struggled to create a healthy relationship with technology, how he has overcome his challenges, and how going offline has been beneficial for his mental health. Host Kash Khan interviews Mike Zapolin, a conscious filmmaker. Mike, known as Zappy, won the 2016 Amsterdam Film Festival’s Van Gogh Award for Best Director for his film “The Reality of Truth.” His recent film “Lamar Odom Reborn'' follows the psychedelic intervention he did on the NBA champion who has publicly struggled with addiction. Zappy co-authored “Ask the Kabala Oracle Cards” and is co-founder of The Ketamine Fund, which is dedicated to giving away free treatments to those having suicidal ideations and has a goal of bringing suicide down by 75 percent. In this podcast, Zappy talks about his passion to bring forward his formula for conscious transformation, recovering from the trauma of the coronavirus through plant medicine and other catalysts to dive deep inside our minds for answers and healing. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “Ketamine puts you right there [in the present consciousness] without even trying, it's like you're a yogi of 30 years. While people say the spirit part of it isn't really there, it's a complete god conscious experience, so you are one-to-one with God.” “One anecdotal thing about ketamine is a lot of people describe feeling this sensation that they are a speck of dust and they are also the entire universe.” “If you go your whole life and you never dive deep inside your mind, you may have actually missed the whole point of existing in the physical realm.” “A lot of times when you have a plant medicine experience or a deep psychedelic experience, what happens is you come out with more empathy and I believe if we had enough people, a critical mass of people, with more empathy, we could solve any problem we have as a society really, really easily.” Bullet Points (w/ time stamps) - Highlighting key topics discussed 4:42: Zappy talks about his experience using ketamine and ibogaine therapy, and the importance of having a medical supervisor and guide during an iboga ceremony. 10:32: Kash asks about the intentions Zappy sets when going into a ceremony and what intentions Lamar Odom set before using ketamine and iboga, and how it helped him deal with his trauma. 18:48: Zappy says that after Lamar used ketamine therapy, he wanted to pay it forward and was able to help his family members heal from trauma using ketamine, and how they've been able to come together as a unit in a way they never have before. 21:35: Zappy explains how ketamine is created, how it has been used by medical professionals, and a study done by Yale University about dosing, effects, and how it helps humans build new neural pathways in the brain around trauma and depression. 25:06: Kash asks Zappy if he believes ketamine has a consciousness like plant medicine, and Zappy says it does not, but ketamine has the ability to bring us into the present moment. 31:15: Zappy believes that ketamine can be used to unpack trauma and PTSD that has been caused by the pandemic, and be used to avoid anxiety and depression. 41:43: Zappy talks about the benefits of microdosing on psilocybin mushrooms and how it has the potential to replace antidepressants, and encourages people in psychedelic neutral zones to try psilocybin. 47:17: Zappy mentions the connection between psychedelics and religion, and Kash asks Zappy to elaborate on that relationship and if he believes if psychedelics are the source of all religions. 53:21: Kash asks Zappy’s opinion on how psychedelics could prepare us for navigating the afterlife, and Zappy explains how that resonates with him on two different levels. Everything requires within and taking the time to come to stillness and be present with the breath, which is our greatest anchor, to really start to become aware of those limiting beliefs and thought patterns so we can start letting them go and become lighter and lighter and come into wholeness.” Bullet Points (w/ time stamps) - Highlighting key topics discussed 3:34: Jonathan talks about his early relationship with martial arts and how he turned to self care and became exposed to yoga and meditation. And the discovery of Systema which became the bridge between martial arts and yoga. 6:17: Body Cultivation has allowed Jonathan to inspire others to take full responsibility for their lives through energy work. Host Kash Khan interviews Josh Trent, founder of Wellness Force Media and host of the top-ranked iTunes podcast, Wellness Force Radio. Josh has spent the past 17 years as a researcher, trainer, and facilitator discovering the physical and emotional intelligence for humans to thrive in our modern world. In this podcast, Kash and Josh host a Facebook Live session and talk about what led Josh to create Wellness Force, spirit animals, the importance of masculine and feminine energy, and what work individuals can do daily to spark positive change and self love. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “I think about this rascality based heart, which is really just coming from a place of wanting to enjoy life, but sometimes for some people the rascality leads them down this really dark path.” “We create either consciously or subconsciously the thresholds of growth that will actualize our high self.” “Shame is the ultimate darkness.” “We’re not all the same from a gender perspective, but we are all the same from an energy and human perspective and that’s the truth and that’s what we’re working towards.” 5:08: Josh asks Kash to give insight into why he started the Educate Inspire Change podcast, and Kash talks about the relationship with his first son and other circumstances in his life that led him to wanting to make a positive impact on the world. 12:07: Josh elaborates about the “rascality” that he and Kash share, how that can lead some people down a dark path, and how trauma causes soul splitting or the disconnection of the heart and the head. 25:27: Kash talks about Rythmia Life Advancement Center, where he and Josh have both visited, and Kash asks Josh to talk about his first plant medicine ceremony and what brought him to Rythmia. 37:27: Josh states that individuals feel called to the ceremony break through trauma, and that the real spiritual work begins after the ceremony and how to integrate that in the 3D. 47:47: Josh shares his “deep knowing” that the creation of the new world will bring forth a “conscious capitalism” through the balance on masculine and feminine energy. 59:30: Kash and Josh end their talk with actionable steps for those who have been inspired by the podcast and daily changes to make for a clear mind and healthy body. Host Kash Khan interviews Darin McBratney, creator of the Global Nurture Project and the owner of Costa Rica Yoga Spa that is well known for the unique and powerful combination of Iboga and yoga. In 2005, Darin became critically ill and after being misdiagnosed by dozens of doctors he was introduced to a medical intuitive who discovered the cause of his sickness. It was during Darin’s research to find a healing regiment that he discovered Iboga. In this podcast, Darin discusses his research of Iboga and his personal relationship with the plant, how yoga prepares people for Iboga ceremonies, and the importance of intention and surrender before and during a ceremony as well as aftercare. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “I had no idea the true capability of this amazing sacred plant.” “Anyone can be happy anywhere, it’s about creating your own environment.” “We were all born organic and perfectly inline with the universe and then that’s where the sickness comes in, when we get off of that stuff and we start putting things in our body that aren't healthy. And iboga in particular puts you right back into the center.” “How to maintain this wonderful Iboga glow, I’ve found to be the most powerful thing in kundalini yoga. It’s not something I do all the time but it's something I do occasionally and it brings you right back to that beautiful center that Iboga gives you.” 5:21: Through Darin’s research to find the best healing herbs and treatments for his illness, he discovered Iboga and described his first experience with the plant. 11:20: Kash asks Darin’s opinion on synchronicity and why it becomes a natural occurrence for people who do plant medicine. 20:20: Darin fleshes out the importance of intention going into an Iboga ceremony and shares two stories of how the plant can sense a person's intention, therefore giving the individual an experience based on his or her motive. 30:54: Darin talks about the importance of Iboga aftercare and how integration after a ceremony can be difficult because the plant “melts down their reality into truth” and that can be hard for people to digest. 39:11: Darin explains that ingesting Iboga is ingesting a frequency and it raises the body to other dimensions that leads to healing. Host Kash Khan interviews Maiccu Kostiainen, a worldwide known animal communicator and medium, teacher, lecturer and author. She is from Finland and the author of the best spiritual book of the year 2012 in Finland, Hiljaisen viisauden voima (in English the Power of Silent Wisdom). In this podcast, Maicuu talks about her life before becoming an animal communicator and how she discovered her gift, gives advice to individuals who are grieving the death of an animal, and how plant medicine helped open her path as a professional and an individual. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “There’s no point for trying to convince someone that is already convinced with their own opinion.” “I’ve been doing this work for many years, and plant medicine showed me that it is true.” “The big message is, ‘I am still with you.’ The hardest part for us as humans is that we can’t touch them.” 2:52: Maiccu talks about her first animal reading and explains in detail how the messages from the animals are received and communicated. 8:02: Maiccu describes how she talks to people who don’t believe in what she does as an animal communicator, and that she tells them they are right. 13:45: Khan asks Maiccu to share her story about how they overcame the dark periods of their life, like panic attacks and anxiety, and how plant medicine pulled her out of that depression. 16:06: Khan also shares his appreciation for plant medicine and Rythmia; both Khan and Maiccu agree that “bigger forces take over” after ingesting ayahuasca that lead to deep healing. 18:58: For people grieving the loss of an animal, Khan asks Maiccu to explain where the animal spirit goes and what comfort she can give to individuals with a broken heart. 21:26: Maiccu recommends that individuals who would like to receive a sign from a pet that has died to ask for something that only the individual could know what it is and to pay attention for the sign, which can be communicated in a handful of ways. Host Kash Khan interviews Gerry Powell of Rythmia Life Advancement Center, a luxury health and wellness center that offers alternative therapy programs including plant medicine as opposed to conventional routes. In this podcast, Gerry shares how his relationship with plant medicine unraveled childhood traumas that were carried into adulthood, explains that using ayahuasca can awaken the “walking dead” from their quiet desperation, and the importance of connecting with nature within our lives. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “The beautiful thing is that the plant doesn't care. It doesn't care if your a drug addict, it doesnt care if you're a gambler, it doesn't care if you're just stuck in life. It doesn’t care if you’re frustrated, it doesn’t care if you a sex addict, it doesnt care if youre a pedophile. It doesn't acre. It just is pure love and works just the same on everyone.” “The more you connect with nature, the more you connect with happiness in your own life.” “Having a bad plant experience is better than having 20 years of psychotherapy… because even a bad experience has such teachings in it.” 4:42: Brown elaborates on how plant medicine gave him the ability to forgive his childhood abuser, and that trauma can be necessary to allow humans to split from themselves and refrain from becoming the victim. 6:51: Gerry explains the difference between ayahuasca and iboga, and which should be ingested depending on what the individual is going through. 12:57: Brown discusses how to change the stigma attached to using plant medicine and his take on why it is currently restricted to certain parts of the world. 20:32: Khan shares an ayahuasca experience he had at Gerry’s retreat and how he residenated with a certain animal, and asked Brown to comment on the connection with animals, DMT, and the spirit world. 29:36: Brown talks about the data that Rythmia has collected on how the size of an ayahuasca ceremony relates to personal healing and growth, and what Westerners should be aware of when holding a ceremony in the jungle. For his first guest, host Kash Khan interviews writer and public speaker David Icke. The author of over 20 books focused on topics such as vibrational energy and infinite awareness, Icke has given lectures in over 25 countries on the subject matter. In his earlier years, Icke was a professional footballer and sports journalists before his spiritual awakening in the early 1990s. Icke dives into synchronicity, the five sense focus, and how individuals can take control of their low vibrational environments. The Educate Inspire Change Takeaway: “Most of my life is spent daydreaming. It’s almost like suspending the conscious mind in terms of complete focus on the conscious mind or of the conscious mind.” “Life tends to give you your greatest gift brilliantly disguised as your worst nightmare.” “We live in a realm of infinite state of all possibility and what possibilities we experience are dictated by our perceptions of reality. Thus, if you get this down to its basic form, this conspiracy of human control is controlling humanity's perception of reality.” “The key to everything, the first step in which everything else comes, is redefining self identity.” “It’s been in many ways a perfect journey, even though you only know where you're going when you get there. But when you get there you can see why all the things have happened before that you thought were random.” 11:21 Icke discusses medical hurdles that were faced at a young age and how it is essential to not perceive yourself as a victim. Mentions how today’s “woke” mentality can distort an individual's sense of self. 15:32: Icke breaks down how being offended by people's opinions can correlate with silencing free speech, and how being offended is a choice of giving power away to the abusers. 22:53: Khan asks Icke his opinion about the theory that sources of religion were derived from psychedelic experiences. 31:35 Icke expands on his theory of the five sense focus and how that leads to the control of people's perception of reality, which can lead individuals to live in a world of limitations. 38:49: Icke’s shares the story of when he tried ayahuasca in 2003 while traveling in Brazil and the research he did after, and Khan comments how psychedelics (which expands the mind) are illegal but substances like opiods, alcohol, etc. are ready available and do the opposite. 45:44: Icke’s asks the question of what happens when people begin to expand their awareness and reevaluate their self identity, and how synchronicity follows awakening. 54:51: Khan asks Icke’s to give advice to people stuck in low vibrational environments and how they can change their experiences and seek positive energies. Icke discusses how pathways in the brain can be altered, mentioning MKUltra. 1:03:46: Icke uses the example of a drug addict to explain that addiction is something that is experienced because the body is addicted, and we are the consciousness of our experiences. Icke advises to “ditch the labels” and move it away from self identity. 1:15:49: Icke explains how he came to meet professional psychic Betty Shine and what she told him about how he would change the world during their last two sessions. 1:19:20 Icke describes the constant urge that was drawing him to Peru in 1991 and his life altering trip that changed his reputation and set him free from the fear of what other people think.
