Let's Talk About The idea That Christians Who “WALK AWAY” From The Lord Can Lose Salvation First, no one under any circumstances who is saved can lose their salvation. That is a lie, and is a message presented only by deceivers.  It is not walking away from the Lord because you stopped going to church.  It is not walking away from the Lord because you have doubts.  It is not walking away from the Lord because you have not prayed for 12 months.  If you scroll from Genesis all the way through Revelation, here are words you will never find: “WALK AWAY FROM THE LORD”. YES, That makes for a great scary Sunday morning sermon to cause you to doubt and freak out that maybe you really are not saved, but it lacks any biblical truth.  The closest we get to that is people who have heard the gospel, they tasted it, but they never actually received it. Meaning, it sounded really good, but they never truly believed it.  They fell away from Grace because they never accepted it. And here's the news flash. Even if believers should choose to avoid going to church, reading their Bible, lifting up their prayers to God, etc., it is impossible to walk away from the Lord.  The Spirit of Christ lives in you.  He SWORE He will never leave you.  So, if you're going to avoid reading the Bible, going to church, praying, etc. you're going to have to do it with Christ right there with you.  Christ will let you choose to make bad decisions, but He will not let you walk away. No matter where you go, He will be there with you, training you, discipling you, building you up. And if it takes him your entire life, he's going to remain right there, and will always be fully invested in YOU.If you enjoyed this video be sure to like, share, and comment below God BlessLearn More at https://jesuswithoutreligion.com/christians-can-not-walk-away-from-the-lord/

If you are aware that the scourge weapon was not even invented during the times of the old testament readings. As we read about the scourging in Hebrews, we need to recognize that it was quoting an old testament passage. It clearly appears that the author failed to translate the Hebrew word correctly.  In this episode, we will discover that in the Old Testament God 'inquired deeply' into those he loved. The Hebrew word was biqqoret. Then fast forward hundreds of years later, a new weapon was invented that deeply inquired into the flesh. When the Jews went to name this weapon they got the name from what it did (inquired deeply), and since the weapon inquired deeply into the skin, there was the connection made with God inquiring deeply into those he loved. And consequently, we ended up with a terrible translation from Hebrew to English and ended up teaching God's children that God is basically beating us and ripping the flesh out of our body.See the full video clip at https://jesuswithoutreligion.com/he-scourges-those-he-loves/

We will see that the heavenly things are founded on better hopes and better promises. We discover that the law and everything associated with it were made by humans and human hands, and the new covenant is made by the Spirit of God. We discover that through the law human priests had to make sacrifices for sins year after year, over and over and over again. But when Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice, he only had to do it one time, and he sat down at the right hand of the father after that. Why? Because this sacrifice, unlike the blood of animals, worked! Jesus doesn't need to die again because the sands of the believer have been dealt with for all time. We don't activate it by begging and pleading. We don't activate it by saying I'm sorry. And contrary to lifeless religious teaching, we don't activate forgiveness by repenting from outward sin. In our study today of Hebrews chapter 5 we're going to discover the true meaning of 'milk' and 'food' as it refers to this letter. Many have taught that this is about 'sin' and 'law', but today we will see this is about doctrine. There are some people teaching God's word, but as it turns out they are suggesting that we get right with God for some kind of human effort, and they need to go back to the basics of the gospel (milk). When our theology for dealing with sin starts talking about any outward effort, we have completely distorted the gospel of grace. We're learning that nothing we do on the outside can save us. In the case of the Jews, it was animal sacrifices, washing, laying on of hands, etc. Today we see the same thing only with different techniques. Maybe they say the way God's forgiveness is activated is by asking God to forgive you over and over again, sin by sin, day by day.  Summer suggesting if you don't give a tithe then you will be punished instead of forgiven. If there's any type of human effort tied into our forgiveness, then that teacher needs to go back to milk. Our outward performance is simply a picture of what has already happened inside. We should absolutely have good works and avoid sin. But those things don't get us more forgiveness or activate the forgiveness we've already been promised for the cross. Watch in video format with slides at https://jesuswithoutreligion.com/bible-study-online/hebrews/chapter-5/

In Hebrews chapter 2 we're going to be hearing about how the Old Testament law was unalterable. Every sin God it's just penalty. And what we're going to learn is that if an old covenant that was ordained by angels was so severe, how much more severe will be if you reject the new covenant. If you reject Jesus. God is literally giving us the best reasons possible to completely start looking at the old covenant for forgiveness and grab onto the new only. We are being called to trust Jesus, not human performance,If you prefer to watch this video with verse by verse slides please visit https://jesuswithoutreligion.com/bible-study-online/hebrews/chapter-2/

The Gospel of Grace - How to Explain It

Sharing the gospel in its fullness can be hard. That is, it can be hard to explain it to some Christians. The Gospel teaches Christians that our sins have been completely paid for and will be remembered no more. It teaches us that we will be presented as blameless on judgment day, and that there is no judgment for the one who believes in Jesus. It seems that presenting this idea of total forgiveness through faith offends the religious ego. In fact, you would find that most churches are also hesitant to teach this message of COMPLETE forgiveness, even when you screw up (and we all do).  They call it hyper-grace. They call it a license to sin. They call it fire insurance. But are they right? Does God limit his forgiveness? Can we out sin the goodness of God and the finished work of Jesus on the cross? I don't think so.If you're a believer God swears he will NEVER leave you or forsake you. Focus on that word never. If you're a believer God says when you are faithless he will remain faithful. Notice he's not looking at your performance and your faithfulness in order for him to remain faithful. No Christian performs perfectly. You are safe and secure because Jesus Christ performed perfectly. We do not activate forgiveness by begging God. We do not activate forgiveness by confessing over and over. Forgiveness is activated all at once the moment you put your faith in Jesus Christ and trust him to rescue you from your sins. The problem is because very few people, including pastors, deacons, and other religious leaders, have failed to understand the old covenant versus the new covenant. In this podcast, we are going to fully explain the old covenant and how it's applied to Christians, and this will equip you to share the grace message with total confidence. We want you to be able to defend God's word when faced with combative legalists who do not trust God's children with too much grace. I honestly think this is one of the best messages we've ever shared. It is certainly missing from most churches today. I hope that you will help spread the goodness of God!Learn more at https://jesuswithoutreligion.com/
