As an excited and inquisitive child Tahira Page loved to entertain company with dances that she created on her own. Her mother took notice and immediately enrolled her into a dance academy, exposing her to dance from around the world. Tahira Page noticed a disparity with regard to the lack of exposure to the art form with the inner city youth. She started teaching one unintentional student at her house which quickly grew; leaving her with one option, expand. It was at that point, Project 18 Forty Dance Studio was born.
