Brooklyn born and raised,Twinkie has 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She began casting music videos then grew to shorts and feature films. cast short films for AFI & USC students. Most notable to date is director Ryan Coogler. While attending USC, Twinkie cast Cooglers award winning short film FIG then went on to cast Fuitvale Station. She has also cast  Stomp The Yard, Jumping the Broom, Notorious, Filly Brown, Sparkle, Southside with You, BEATS then Televisions Being Mary Jane.  “While casting those films I learned more about producing then most recently I've been bitten by the directing bug.Twinkies directorial debut is an award winning short film called The Counter: 1960. The Counter has touched lives around the globe. It chronicles the lives of three current day “woke” black college students who slip into the past and relive the lunch counter sit ins of the segregated south in 1960. Will the be served??  Twinkie is also Executive Producer of a Christmas film for Lifetime Television and a MACRO Young Adult film called Young Wild Free.“Directing and Producing are my new frontier, Twinkie says, I see things differently, in a new way.
