Tara Ashleigh Emma Is a physiotherapist and and health care professional in the town of Maclear in the Eastern Cape. The introduction of Community Healthcare Workers into the health system has brought about a lot of relief to the overburden healthcare system that has a high vacancy rates in its hospitals and clinics. The Eastern Cape Health Department is said to be at risk of losing hundreds of doctors and nurses. The looming crisis has been attributed to financial troubles facing the department and reported failure to retain key health professionals. The National Education, Health and Allied Workers' Union [NEHAWU] in the Eastern Cape has learnt with great disappointment the decision by the Provincial Department of Health not to renew the contracts of 2748 Community Healthcare Workers who were brought in to supplement the government's efforts against the Covid-19 pandemic. The short-sighted decision by the Department to terminate the contracts of the much-needed 2748 contract workers is an insult to the people of the Eastern Cape and clearly demonstrates the lack of strategic leadership in the Department. In-fact the department should permanently employ these workers. -

He is a lifelong friend of mine who decided to go against the grain of furthering his studies after school.    He had no idea what he wanted to do in life but at least he knew what he didn't want... which was to sit in an office all day.   He realized that there will be situations, tasks and moments in your life where you have to do things that you don't want to in order to get what you want in the end.   In this podcast, we covered the following:   - The areas of the world that the yacht life has taken him.  - Why he chose the Yacht life instead of studying further.  - The importance of having a degree or diploma.  - The importance of gaining life experience.  - The struggle of knowing what to do when completing school.  - Knowing who you are as a person and being happy with that.  - How continuous improvement and self-education can change your circumstances.  - Using the internet of things as a resource to change your life.  - Embracing uncertainty to find your way.  - The need to find your worth outside of people's perception of you.  -------------------------------------------  Kegan left for France to work on the Yachts which were owned by some of the world's elite.    His adventures over the last 8 years have taken him all over the world as well as provided him with a stable income to live a good life when his time at sea is done.   Although everything turned out well, it took him time to find his feet. Just like many of us, he also realised that it is normal to struggle and find your feet.   -------------------------------------------  #Happiness #Self-Love #Self-Discovery #Life
