Season 2 was FIIRREEEE! When Hubby Steve & I sat down to chat it up about Season 2 we were AMAZED by how God showed up and showed out! In the various topics , divine connections with our guest and especially in the "hard conversations" God revealed and denounced some stuff through His wisdom, through His Word. The devil's whole plan is to keep our minds focused on the wrong things! Even focusing on something that is GOOD and sounds GREAT according to our understanding  can lead us to operate in ERROR. If it is not the WILL of GOD we are on the wrong track and a good thing can easily lead us to frustration, anxiety , doubt and a whole lot of other problems! Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us today that God KNOWS His plans and DOES NOT need our help! So I have to ask, "what are you trippin about today?" 

A mind is a terrible thing to waste, what consumes your mind controls your life, mind over matter, the body achieves what the mind believes. There are soooooo many quotes declaring how we should or should not think. The greatest explanation of the mind is found in The Word of God where He lets us know we have control over our thoughts and that our very minds is the greatest battlefield known to man. So I guess we should rethink what were day dreaming about and check them for inceptions. Let's get into it! 

True comfort is not lasting when we expect it to be given from people or things. True comfort is found in the unconditional love of God. This week I chat it up about the false comforters that draw us in and then crushes us because they are really designed to keep us away from our purpose. As always God's Word is full of people who struggled with the same things we currently deal with today. Samson, a young rich ruler, a rich fool and a Prodigal Son all wrestled with some very familiar entanglements,  situations and dilemmas. The social phenomenon  that has taken over society has also scooped up the church along with it! As our elders would put it, "there is nothing new under the sun!" Jonah was DETERMINED to have the Ninevites canceled .The Prodigal Son's Brother couldn't understand why the brother he "thought" was canceled was instead being celebrated.  Join me this week as I chat it up about how we need to stop canceling each other within the church and individuals before they even make it in. 

Many of us are fully functional in society. We go out to work or shop, we chat with new people we meet and we attend social gatherings.  Yet most people we’re around don't know who we really are. We don't even know who we really are! This week  I'm chatting it up about Moses and Ester who believed themselves to be certain individuals when in fact God's plan for their lives were beyond their wildest thoughts. Join me this week to discuss how the identities God has created us to live out far outweigh the ones we uphold. 

People are "respecting" our faith because they are still accepting of us as long as we keep this "Christian" thing simple. But we must ask ourselves do we long to be respected or is it really about being ACCEPTED! Like Peter we are gonna have to stand our ground on whether we're walking with Jesus for real or not. My question this week is what will your response be? Will you settle for camaraderie with a vague layer of respect or will you walk boldly in your identity in Christ despite what people may say or do? 

If you're human this episode is for you. Enticement comes in all different forms for different individuals but one thing for certain, it exist. No matter what we're lusting after its innate to do so because of the nature that inhabits our flesh. But because no one talks about the reality of temptation so many fall into self-condemnation, depression and generational cycles overall. Join me this episode as I chat it up about temptation and why it doesn't make you "less" saved or hell bound.
