In this episode of A Course in Miracles: Living the Love, Walking the Talk, Jennifer Hadley explores Chapter 9, Section 6 on "The Acceptance of Your Brother," revealing how our relationships—especially challenging family dynamics during the approaching holiday season—become the primary classroom for awakening. She teaches that we cannot reject our brothers and sisters without rejecting ourselves, because we're all part of one another, and that the people we love most are often the people we judge most. Drawing from her 25 years as a spiritual counselor, Jennifer shares how holding space for others' perfection helped her recognize her own, and how the fundamental ACIM principle "to have, give all to all" means we can only receive what we're willing to extend. She offers hope that humanity is experiencing a collective "extinction burst"—an intense surfacing of separation thinking before breakthrough—and invites listeners to prepare for the holidays by choosing to see the Christ in everyone, even difficult relatives. This episode is in honor of Kylee Breann Whitley, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a friend living with type 1 diabetes. In this deeply emotional conversation, Dr. Joren Whitley opens up about the life and loss of his sister, Kylee-a bright, adventurous young woman who lived with type 1 diabetes and battled diabulimia, an often-misunderstood eating disorder. This is not just about loss, it is a call to action for families, friends, and healthcare providers, and what we can all learn from one family's journey. While this episode touches on heavy topics, it's ultimately one of love, remembrance, and hope. If you know someone living with type 1 diabetes, what you hear today could truly save a life. Please share it and help save lives. Quick Takeaways:The annual mortality rate for diabulimia is estimated to be 34.8% (yet it wasn't recognized in literature until after 2007).“I help hundreds of people every single week, and I couldn't help the one person who was closest to me.” – Dr. Joren WhitleyA type 1 diabetes diagnosis through a sibling's eyes: “I just remember her struggling.”The hidden danger of diabulimia: how insulin omission and lack of awareness can turn deadly. The call to action: what Kylee's story teaches us about advocacy, early intervention, and the power of speaking up.

In this episode of Gangland Wire, Gary Jenkins, a former KCPD Intelligence Detective, is joined by Lydia Jean Kott (LJ), a producer at Pushkin Industries, the company founded by Malcolm Gladwell. LJ brings us inside the making of Chinatown Sting, a gripping new podcast that uncovers the fascinating and little-known story of Chinese organized crime, China White heroin, and characters like Machinegun Johnny in New York's Chinatown during the 1980s. LJ explains how her interest in the case was sparked by a personal connection—her boyfriend's mother was a federal prosecutor involved in the original sting. That legendary case centered on heroin smuggled from Hong Kong into Chinatown, hidden in packages and distributed through a network of mahjong-playing mothers. What began with a flagged parcel at the post office unraveled into a high-stakes undercover investigation. We explore how law enforcement managed to penetrate this tight-knit immigrant community, the risks taken by prosecutors like Beryl Howell, and the difficult moral choices faced by those caught in the middle—including a woman forced to choose between betraying a friend or saving herself. LJ also delves into the history of Chinatowns in America, where family associations and Tongs—formed initially as mutual aid societies—became intertwined with the vice industry. She connects this legacy to gangs like the Flying Dragons and their ties back to organized crime in Hong Kong. Our discussion is not just about drugs, gangs, and federal stings—it's about storytelling, community, and the pursuit of survival. LJ shares how she and her co-reporter pieced the story together over the course of years of interviews and archival research, giving voice to people often overlooked in the larger mob narrative. If you're fascinated by organized crime, hidden histories, or the way law enforcement takes on international networks, Chinatown Sting is a podcast you won't want to miss. Our conversation this week takes a different approach on avoiding the judgment of others when it comes to trying to identify whether or not they are saved or considered as believers in Christ. We find passages in the Bible where it's easy to jump to the wrong conclusions and allow human speculation and misdirected theology of the written pages to put God in a box, which limits His love and grace. The brothers who shared the same mother with Jesus did not believe in Him. The disciples saw Him after His resurrection and worshipped Him—but some still doubted. Others who came to believe after the resurrection were also zealous for a law of works, considered as part of an ongoing formula that had been wiped out and abolished without them realizing it. We're providing some food for thought for all of us to consider. But Jesus promised something even better that can bring people to a place where they will never hunger or thirst again. That's the ball we should keep our eyes upon. --Available on Amazon - "Clash of The Covenants: Escaping Religious Bondage Through the Grace Guarantee" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0713ZSKY7
Mark Epstein, the younger brother of Jeffrey Epstein, reacted to the large-scale release of court documents with pointed skepticism. He argued that the so-called transparency amounted to little more than a controlled spectacle. In his view, the bulk release—thousands of pages, many of them repetitive or heavily redacted—ensured the public would be overwhelmed and unable to identify what mattered most. He described the process as an effort to shield the identities of powerful figures tied to his brother while creating the appearance of disclosure.Yet his narrative has drawn criticism for what it omits. By centering his remarks on redactions and the alleged protection of elites, Mark downplays the extensive record already linking Jeffrey Epstein to decades of sexual abuse and exploitation. His framing casts the document dump as another act in a cover-up rather than an extension of the case against his brother, leading many to question whether his comments are motivated by a genuine call for accountability—or by a desire to soften the legacy of a disgraced sibling.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

William's back for the 200th episode with a super-secret special guest!
When Tiriq Rashad, artist, poet, and performer, sits down to write, he's not just telling his own story - he's carrying his daughter, his brother, and his mother with him. In this conversation, Tiriq shares the layered ways grief has shaped who he is: from the death of his first child before she was born, to growing up caring for his brother who lived with cerebral palsy and autism, to the sudden death of his mother. Through it all, Tiriq's foundation in caregiving, service, and community continues to guide him - both in his personal life and in his art. His new album, Kiss My Art, is woven through with grief, including themes of regret, forgiveness, and deep unwavering love. Each track on Kiss My Art reminds listeners that grief doesn't end, it evolves and we evolve with it. We talk about: How the death of his daughter shapes his life perspective – and his parenting. How caregiving for his brother as a child set him on the path to social work. The trauma and legacy of his mother's death in a car accident. Choosing to face grief without leaning on vices. Writing and performing as practices of healing. How the death of a public figure can impact those who never even met them. This week's featured story comes from the At Home with Martin & Sylvia collection. It's called "Living Room Camping." Brother and sister look out at the gray late autumn landscape and long for summer again. They miss the easy play, the summer adventures — and most of all, they miss camping. "You can still go camping!" says Daddy, "You can go living room camping. It's the same as outdoor camping, but just ... inside." Martin and Sylvia are inspired and immediately set to preparing.
