If you were alive during Donald Trump's run for election, unfortunately, there was a 98% chance that you got daily updates about some of the crazy and ‘headline making’ things Donald Trump said, here are just a few of them: He called Mexicans rapists (then said, some he assumes are good people). I’m going to build a great, great wall, and Mexico is going to pay for it. I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters. These are just three of the hundred plus one liners that ran across even OUR TV and Internet screens in Australia, during Donald Trump’s election. I’m not sharing my views here on US politics. I’m not saying I agree or share his beliefs, but I am saying that when someone says something really ‘out there’ like he did, and still wins the race and still becomes the elected President of the United States, you need to take a moment to think about that. I looked at the website... read a few a pages and I thought to myself... "soo... what do you do?" - i literally had no idea! I won’t give their URL, because this is not a personal attack, there’s no benefit in that and deep down I just don’t want them to feel bad. Still to this day, I don’t really know what they do. I assume it’s something to do with IT. If I was to have a guess I would say they did server and system integrations.. But that’s a guess, and I have IT experience… so it should have been a little more obvious to me. When designing their site and writing the words.. The large majority of Australian and Global Business Owners and Companies get it wrong.. .. and the result is being overcharged for a donkey, when you ordered a Stallion. The only way you should be measuring how good a website is, is based on its Return on Investment. There is nothing else that is important.. Unless you’re running a Charity. (but even then you need to raise money, right?) Your new website is PACKED with features and widgets..!? Do they equal dollars in your account? I do totally get it however, I’ve been there before. I’ve designed and laid out and had developed the most beautiful websites you’d ever hope to own. I understand the attraction. But now I know factually, the design and “coolness factor” or “modernness” of my and your websites is not important when it comes to you reaching your goals or your customers. Ask yourself this… what is the #1 thing my website NEEDS to do? Now.. make sure of two things: 1: Everything on your website is dedicated to that 1 Thing. And by default then: 2: There is nothing that distracts your visitors from that 1 Thing. If you can achieve that, you’re on the right track. If you’ve got that… you must have a good number of website visitors, becoming subscribers and customers.

This is not a promise you’ll become rich and famous and get your own reality show on Netflix. I’m about to tell you… how you can 99% ensure success … with anything. It comes down to a complicated….. But very simple sanity check. Let’s talk about this in terms of marketing. Calling any idea or an Ad for example.. a “WINNER” or “a LOSER” too soon, is one of the biggest mistakes people make. Including me, even after well over a million dollars spent in Advertising… when a new idea or campaign is launched for the first time… I still occasionally find myself judging all too soon. And usually…the problem is cutting it off too soon. Quick tip, every time I launch a new Ad on Facebook or wherever, I always launch 3-4 completely different ads. And I encourage you to do the same. A small difference can double your sales. So.. still using this example, sometimes when I set up 4 new Ads… all the ads will be about the same thing. But the words in the ads, pictures, etc, will be different. After a little while, I’ll see that one of the ads made 6 sales. Another one made 2 sales… and the 3rd and 4th ad made 0 sales. And this is where the big mistake is made. I hope by listening, reading or watching this video, you WILL NOT fall for this all too common trap.
