'Left on Read' is for anyone struggling to let go after a breakup, especially when the other person seems to have moved on while they're still holding onto the memories. It captures the loneliness of seeing reminders everywhere the empty room, the untouched coffee cup, the unread messages, and the painful process of accepting that a once-important relationship has become part of the past.
Clint, Meg and Dan kick off their early-morning show chatting about cold temperatures around New Zealand, a studio clean-up that led Dan to dig antibiotics out of the bin, and a “What’s up?” battle that awards Alex $250 and a Scary Movie 6 double pass. They take a call from Linda, an infection and antimicrobial therapy nurse specialist, who explains antibiotic plans and the importance of finishing a course amid rising resistance. The hosts also debate supermarket and online grocery shopping, share extreme cheapskate money-saving hacks, and hear from callers who kept paying for unused gym memberships for years. Meg reveals she fractured her tailbone at a kids’ indoor playground, prompting listeners to share their own dumb adult injuries. 01:54 Cold Snap Texts 02:19 Studio Cleanup Chaos 04:00 Decorating Debate 05:49 Whats Up Battle 08:31 Supermarket Date Night 10:52 Alien Safety Questions 12:27 Celebrity Gossip Roundup 14:54 First Call Nurse Specialist 18:50 Reading Kills Romance 22:37 Extreme Cheapskates Clip 24:02 Dishwasher Salmon Debate 25:27 Library Flight Booking Myth 26:20 Stingy Hacks and Samples 27:06 Extreme Cheapskate Showers 28:19 Rewards Points and Reuse 30:35 Incognito and Free Cash 31:41 Gym Fees Add Up Fast 36:18 Long Distance Bestie Island 37:56 Ball Pit mishap 42:50 Dumb Adult Injury Callers

TikTok Shop is not a channel you can just “turn on.”In this workshop, Jordan West and Brywinn Travers break down what brands need in place before TikTok Shop can scale, especially if you are trying to move from cold start to real GMV.They cover the hardest part of TikTok Shop growth, why the first $10K is such a grind, what TikTok considers “cold start,” and why getting to around $60K/month in GMV can unlock more support and resources. The big theme:Early GMV is not just revenue. It is feedback.Feedback on your product, your offer, your content, your creator program, your product listing, and your operations. In this session, you will learn:• Why TikTok Shop cold start is harder than most brands expect• How to choose the right 1 to 2 hero products for launch• What makes a TikTok Shop listing conversion-ready• Why copying Amazon listings onto TikTok Shop is a mistake• Why reviews, trust signals, and clean product pages matter so much• Why you need a Shop Performance Score before scaling• Why friends and family purchases are risky• How creator outreach should be judged by signal, not follower count• Why samples are the fuel for your creator engine• How to think about open collabs vs target collabs• Why GMV Max is not an ads problem• What inputs actually determine whether GMV Max can scale• Why TikTok Shop creates a halo effect across DTC, Meta, Google, and other channels• Why brands need to build TikTok Shop like infrastructure, not a side experimentChapters:00:00 Welcome and workshop overview01:02 From $0 to $10K on TikTok Shop01:37 Why cold start is harder than people think03:33 TikTok Shop launch principles05:26 Choosing your hero products07:13 Making your shop conversion-ready08:41 Why product titles need a human touch10:16 Why Amazon listings do not translate directly to TikTok Shop12:39 Shop Performance Score explained13:17 Why not to use friends and family orders14:14 Using approved levers to get verified orders15:22 Why Shop Performance Score matters16:30 Creator outreach and signal18:42 Finding creators who already love your product21:54 Samples and commission strategy23:47 Commission structures by category27:07 Activating your first affiliates28:03 Building deeper creator relationships30:56 GMV Max basics31:39 Why GMV Max is not an ads problem34:22 GMV Max as a magnifying glass37:17 How long top-performing TikTok Shop videos can last38:08 Why the campaign is no longer separate from the shop39:19 Why brands need to create their own content41:37 How to think about ROI and halo effect43:48 Measuring TikTok Shop's impact beyond platform ROAS47:57 Why fundamentals still decide scale50:17 The 5 big GMV Max inputs51:00 Live Q&A54:22 Why founder-led creator onboarding can workWant help building your TikTok Shop operating system?Book a call with Social Commerce Club:https://socialcommerceclub.com/pages/contactApply for the Social Commerce Club Mastermind:https://socialcommerceclub.com/pages/tiktok-shop-os-mastermindSubscribe for more TikTok Shop strategy, creator commerce breakdowns, GMV Max workshops, and social commerce growth playbooks.

The Congolese guitar maestro, composer, and singer Niwel Tsumbu has become one of the most sought-after musicians in Ireland since he made this country his home in 2004. And this without ever consciously pursuing a career in music. Music was simply a passion he pursued, and it created its own road for him.Niwel: A Life in Music explores Niwel Tsumbu's life in Africa, his reasons for emigrating to Ireland, the story of his life here, and some of his musical projects across a wide range of styles. These include Irish Trad, Classical and Jazz, as well as the Congolese styles of Rhumba and Soukous.Samples of Niwel's music are interwoven with commentary from composer Mel Mercier, percussionist Eamonn Cagney, folklorist Ríonach Uí Ógáin, Niwel himself, and the presenter J.J. O'Shea, concluding with the premiere of an original composition recorded especially for the programme. In addition the programme looks at the history and culture of the Congo – a country ravaged by ongoing wars and poverty, even though it offers vital material to the modern world in terms of rare minerals which are essential for today's technologies.Niwel: A Life in Music is produced and presented by J.J. O'Shea and funded by Coimisiún na Meán.

Howard Behar was there when Starbucks was still figuring out what it wanted to be. And, few people did more to shape the answer. As the company's longtime President, he championed a radical idea that taking care of your people wasn't just the right thing to do, it should be the whole strategy. As he coined, "people over profits." In this conversation, Howard traces that conviction back to his childhood and early adulthood experiences. He reflects on what it truly means to build a culture where human beings come before the bottom line, and why that philosophy scaled further than anyone expected. Howard also shares stories about working alongside (and occassionally butting heads with) Starbucks' other famous "Howard" (Schultz). This is a conversation about not just the need to bring "good" to your company/organization, but how he did it. www.BuildUponTheGood.com and follow us on Facebook, Instagram & Bluesky *Thanks to our sponsor Empire Wine and also Empire Too! Jason advocates for long-term wealth through income property, which is the premier asset class for tax benefits and inflation protection. He highlights significant updates for real estate investors, specifically regarding extended timelines for 1031 exchanges and improved terms for debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) loans. Listeners are encouraged to move beyond short-term market anxiety and adopt a big-picture perspective on financial growth and geopolitical shifts. Jason also announces a interactive contest involving historical real estate data (MLS) and promotes upcoming events focused on investment education. Finally, Jason introduces a historical analysis of three centuries of financial advice to determine which wealth-building strategies have stood the test of time. Then, Jason interviews Joseph Moore, author of "How to Get Rich in American History: 300 Years of Financial Advice That Worked and Didn't." Joseph shared insights from his decade-long research into financial advice across 300 years of American history, explaining how economic conditions have constantly changed and what strategies consistently worked for wealth building. He discusses seven key strategies that successful Americans employed, including building businesses, taking income from others' businesses, combining smaller incomes through side hustles, extreme saving strategies, leveraged investments, steady long-term investing, and marrying well. Joseph emphasize that while many current financial challenges are often perceived as unique to modern times, similar issues and advice have existed throughout American history, and he encouraged listeners to learn from past experiences to make better financial decisions today. https://www.josephmoorebooks.com/ #HowToGetRichInAmericanHistory #FinancialAdvice #WealthBuilding #AmericanDream #FinancialHistory #RealEstateInvesting #SideHustles #Capitalism #FIREMovement #FinancialIndependence #Investing #EconomicHistory #MoneyManagement #SuccessMindset #HolisticSurvival Key Takeaways: Jason's editorial 0:00 The big picture 2:45 income Property, the IRS, 1031 exchanges and DSCR loans 5:10 Guess the daete of this MLS book and win a ticket to https://empoweredinvestorlive.com/ this MAY! 7:29 Upcoming events: https://empoweredinvestorlive.com/ and https://mastermindyachtadventures.com/ Get a FREE account to https://propertytracker.com/ Joseph Moore interview 8:54 Learning to adapt to change 11:14 What worked, and what didn't 15:35 The American dream is dead 20:18 Crashes that didn't happen and some Quotes from The New York Times 21:44 Samples of those who failed and succeeded 25:28 The next big thing is usually a bad idea 27:20 The race to the future and stocks for the long run and goes up to the right 33:50 Women and Side hustles 37:18 Abigail Adams, the Warren Buffet of the 1800s 38:33 Leveraging income property 42:50 The original "Latte Factor," AirBNB and scams before the Internet 46:13 https://www.josephmoorebooks.com/ _______________________________________________________________ Follow Jason on TWITTER, INSTAGRAM & LINKEDIN Twitter.com/JasonHartmanROI Instagram.com/jasonhartman1/ Linkedin.com/in/jasonhartmaninvestor/ Call our Investment Counselors at: 1-800-HARTMAN (US) or visit: https://www.jasonhartman.com/ Free Class: Easily get up to $250,000 in funding for real estate, business or anything else: http://JasonHartman.com/Fund CYA Protect Your Assets, Save Taxes & Estate Planning: http://JasonHartman.com/Protect Get wholesale real estate deals for investment or build a great business – Free Course: https://www.jasonhartman.com/deals Special Offer from Ron LeGrand: https://JasonHartman.com/Ron Free Mini-Book on Pandemic Investing: https://www.PandemicInvesting.com

Actor, producer, music artist, and label CEO Julian Horton joins hosts Claude Kelly, Chuck Harmony, Phil Thornton, and Tamone Bacon for an unfiltered conversation about his meteoric rise and the discipline required to juggle life at a high vibration. While the world recognizes him as the magnetic "Roy" from Tyler Perry's global Netflix sensation Beauty in Black, Julian reveals to the guys that his heart has always been in the music, working tirelessly behind the scenes to build his own empire. The transition from the screen to the studio isn't as seamless as it looks, and Julian gets candid with the crew about the "yield" in the acting industry and why he's currently pouring his energy into his music persona, J-12. As the CEO of TMO (The Most Original) Music Group, he is navigating the saturated digital landscape with a focus on cinematic, hard-hitting production. He opens up about the financial and creative hurdles of producing his high-budget music video for "Gone Head Busted" and the realization that even a global acting platform requires a new level of "spamming" and creativity to get people to truly listen. Success for Julian isn't just a solo mission; it's a family legacy. With actor Donald Faison as a cousin and a father who ran with the legendary Organized Noize and the Dungeon Family, Julian was born into the game. He shares the "win on your own merit" wisdom he received from Faison and how seeing Black excellence up close from a young age made his current reality feel possible long before the cameras started rolling. This deep-rooted perspective is what keeps him grounded, even as his face appears on billboards across the country. We Sound Crazy is your backstage pass to all things music and culture.
