This podcast focuses locally on Fairchild Air Force Base, we get to know people from around the base and their keys to being success as well as understanding what all the base has to offer it's members.
It's a little late but when you listen to the podcast you'll understand why it took so long to get the "go ahead" to release this episode. I got to spend some time with Capt Toner, MSgt Lee, and MSgt Rosa Castillo while they were here for Skyfest 2022. They gave us in inside scoop on what traveling to a show is like and time on the ground at their locations. They also shared what time at home is like between shows. Hopefully we'll get to see some of them next time they're in town.

I got to sit and talk with Lt Louise Dixon, Lt Saoirse O'Reilly, Lt Zara Bolger, and Pvt Shannon Thomas during their visit here for the Armed Forces Women's World Cup. This was their country's first time playing in this tournament. We got to talk about quite a few firsts as well as get to know them a bit better. Sad to see them leave, but so glad they were able to play in this tournament! Slainte!
Listen in as we spend some time with Command Chief of the 7th Bomber Wing, CMSgt Matt Coltrin. Chief spent two days with us during our Key Enlisted Development Seminar. One of the hardest things to do is look for the good when it's so easy to see the negative. Chief gives us some perspective on how he maintains a positive demeanor and also explains his "why."

Listen in as we get the unique opportunity to speak with Coach, Col Derrick Weyand and Coach, Lt Col Jeremiah Kirschman about the International Military Sports Council (French translation spells out CISM). CISM is the second largest sporting event in the world, only to be surpassed by the Olympics! Coach Weyand gives us some insight on the Women's National Team. Coach Kirschman is the director of the tournament here at Fairchild. This will most likely be a once in a lifetime event for Team Fairchild and our Spokane Community. Make sure you check out Union Stadium up in Mead 11-22 July as Team USA takes on 9 other countries (Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Mali, Cameroon, S. Korea, and Canada)!
