It's a healing journey. The five stages of grief are denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. The healing process is not linear, and it can take weeks, months, or even years. It's normal to revisit stages or feel stuck in one stage for a period of time. Some other things to consider when healing from trauma include:Shock and disbelief: You may feel numb or in shock immediately after the traumatic experience Emotional upheaval: Intense emotions, such as anger, sadness, and fear, can surface Understanding and acceptance: With time and support, you can begin to understand and accept what has happened Healing: You can cope with and manage symptoms through therapy, support groups, or other treatment methods Growth and renewal: You may experience personal growth and a sense of renewal Pain levels: As your mental health improves and you heal emotionally, your pain levels should decrease Feeling like yourself: You should be able to feel like yourself even when your moods, thoughts, and bodily sensations change
My thoughts about the story on TikTok about Nurse Hannah. It's a devastating story so please be mindful of the situations and concerns within this podcast.
I bought the dream you sold me. I allowed myself to just be. I gave you all my trust and let you sweep me off my feet. I melted in your arms and trusted that it was a safe place to be. I let go finally relaxed and fell into a deep sleep. You then pinched me with reality, but I just couldn't wake up. You shook me and called my name, but even that wasn't enough so there I stayed asleep while floating on a cloud no way to snap out of my dream and no way to get down, and the cloud began to disappear when you told me that you didn't love me. I tried to learn how to fly, but I didn't have the wing have wings when it finally evaporated, I began to fall at rapid speeds. You are nowhere to be found. You are not there to catch me when I finally hit the pavement I could not believe I was still alive. My heart was shattered, my mind was scattered, and I then wished I would have died there I laid in my own brokenness, unable to move, unable to feel. I slowly began to go numb because the pain was too much to be real.
I met a man a perfect man. He was everything I thought I could ever need. Charming, strong, intelligent, sweet. He was the perfect recipe. He doubted all of his eyes and crossed all of his teas. This man would stay forever, and he would never leave. gentle, kind and respectful he was considerate in all of his doings. He was dedicated to his own goals. He knew the direction he was going. His kisses were ever so passionate, his voice always calm and collected. He was a man who showed up spotless, a man that made me feel protected, but he told me about a mirage, a fantasy, this optical illusion. I ignored the details that he gave to me, and I drew my own conclusion. He told me this mirage would seem so real that it could fool him and even fool me this arra this mirage was only a trick that came straight from the enemy. Little did I know he was referring to he and I when he spoke about this mirage. I was falling in love with an illusion, a cover up and a well kept façade. This mirage felt so safe and secure, even though in reality it didn't exist. He told me that discovering this mirage would confuse me just like this. Now I am left with the story to tell of a love that I fell in that was not real where a man came in my life and made me fall in love with him, and then told me that who thought who I thought he was was never really him.
Never let someone tell you they don't care more than once! This world has changed so much over the past decade that you really have to take peoples actions as their truths and move on. You can't force you only can live! Make sure you listen to my song on Spotify called “TIL The End” link is in the poll for this podcast.

God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied with him God does not hold you accountable for your husband's sins but for the godliness of your response to those sins. Believe that the path of lost dreams in this life is the path of the greatest joy overall. Marriage was created by God as a picture of the covenant-keeping love of Christ and his church. It is good, and it is right to want things to change now. Oh, yes, we all do. We want things about our spouses and ourselves to change now. And I think that is why Peter wrote 1 Peter 3:1–7 for wives in particular, because these words are meant to help a woman know how to think about changing her husband, in this case, an unbelieving husband. She should pray earnestly for him and for the whole situation. That is why those verses are there. I would recommend that she pray over them long and hard. But don't stake your greatest happiness on his change. If you do that, you will probably become demanding and nagging, and angry, all of which will be self-defeating. So, focus your main heart energies not on fixing his failures, but on deepening your own godly responses to those failures. That is what God expects from you. God does not hold you accountable for your husband's sins. But he does hold you accountable for the godliness of your responses to those sins. There will be a thousand acts of grace that your husband will not reward, or perhaps not even notice. And you will feel so alone in your sorrow. But hold fast to this truth: God sees in secret. That is Matthew 6:3–4. God sees every tiny expression of your patience and mercy and respect. He sees them all and he writes them all. Your quiet sorrows are never wasted. You will be repaid on the last day and, perhaps, in this life more than you could ever imagine. When the decades have gone by, God might work a miracle in that man, and your life might end in a way that you never dreamed of. An emotional divorce indicates the emotional breakdown of a marriage, at least for one partner. However, if the legal separation has not been finalized, it can lead to some blurred lines. Establish strong mental and physical boundaries with your partner that protect you from getting hurt even further. Boundaries can help you safeguard your mental health from deteriorating further. A fault divorce occurs when one party is blamed by the other and viewed as causing the divorce. Traditionally, couples were not just able to divorce whenever they wanted to. One party to the marriage must have done something that warranted the other wanting to end the marital union. A no-fault divorce is a dissolution of marriage that occurs when neither spouse is required by the court to prove that the other party did something that caused the divorce. No-fault divorces are typically easier for all parties involved, as it eliminates much of the conflict associated with fault divorces. https://youtu.be/1ep40VZR6qI --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/scorpiontemple/message
When people say one thing and do another listen to it. No one person has to say anything to you but watch how they make their moves and this will tell you how they truly feel about you. It's not you, they've moved on, they just have decided not to give you the closure you deserve so they leave that door open just in case what they're doing doesn't work out. Be truthful to yourself. It's time for all of us to wake up and really check out whose here for us and whose here just to get on the ride when they want to and get off when it's most convenient for them until next time. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/scorpiontemple/message

There is a lot of talk about the Jezebel Spirit, so today I will explain where the name Jezebel comes from and whether it has any connection to Narcissism. If you are familiar with my blog, you already know that I believe there is a ‘Spirit of Narcissism' that is responsible for the rise in Narcissists and Narcissism in our society; but is it the same as the Jezebel Spirit? When I hear Jezebel Spirit, the first thing that comes to mind is a wicked, seductive woman who manipulates people and situations to get what she wants. Apparently, the Jezebel Spirit is not just reserved for women but men as well and narcissists (narcissistic men and women) in particular are now labeled as Jezebels. But, what is the origin of the name ‘Jezebel'? Well, Jezebel is the name of 2 women in the bible. The first one was the wife of Ahab, king of Israel, and a very wicked woman. Her story begins in 1 Kings Chapter 16 vs 31 through to 2 Kings Chapter 9 vs 37. This Jezebel was a murderer, a liar and a very controlling woman. She was also the one who influenced her husband to carry out many wicked deeds as.The qualities of these two women, who were both called Jezebel are what have been used to create and symbolise the Jezebel Spirit. But, there is actually no mention of a Jezebel Spirit in the Christian Bible. So, anyone who is manipulative, sexually immoral, controlling and evil is said to have a Jezebel Spirit. The characteristics of these women are very similar to that of a narcissist and many links have been made recently to where narcissists are called Jezebels and even Ahabs, after Jezebel's husband. But in my opinion, Ahab was more of a Co-dependent than a narcissist as it said clearly it was his wife who was pulling the strings. If anyone displeased him, he did not do anything to them but his wife would go behind his back and take them out. (Read 1 Kings Chapter 21 vs 1 -22). So, as you can see, the characteristics of these two women are what have been combined to create the Jezebel Spirit and the term is now being applied to people who are narcissistic or who suffer from the Narcissistic Personality Disorder. As a result, Narcissist = Jezebel Spirit. Did the Jezebel in 1 Kings have the Jezebel Spirit? No, Jezebel was probably narcissistic, so it would be more appropriate to say that the Spirit of Narcissism operated within her. But, many Christian pastors and teachers have made the terms synonymous, and Jezebel is now the mother of all narcissists. Was Jezebel the first recorded narcissist in the bible? No, I think Cain (the first child of Adam and Eve) was very narcissistic as well. He was competitive and proud. He was also envious and jealous of his brother and that drove him to kill his own brother. Then, when confronted, he was defensive and lied about it. So, maybe the Spirit of Cain would be more appropriate. Do Narcissists have the Jezebel Spirit? If Jezebel didn't have the Jezebel Spirit it is not the correct name. Naming things for what they are is very important. And that is probably why Narcissism has gone undetected in churches for so long, because there are many more characteristics to Narcissism, that neither Jezebels are documented as having. The Jezebel Spirit, much like Narcissism, is a Spirit of Destruction. It's destroying families, churches and everyday relationships. But, I don't think the name Jezebel Spirit is a full embodiment of what a Narcissist is, although this is what is being pushed at the moment. But, if it allows people to recognise or relate to what a narcissist is then I won't hold it against them. The most important thing is that people realise that Narcissism is more than a mental illness and that our fight is not just a physical one but a spiritual one. Narcissists are evil, manipulative and controlling like the Jezebels mentioned in the bible. Whichever way someone decides to pinpoint Narcissism, it's totally their choice, but let it be known that it is an evil spirit that needs to be EXPOSED! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/scorpiontemple/message
What does the notion of “commitment” mean to you? What would your spouse have to do for you to be absolutely convinced that he or she is TOTALLY committed to you and your marriage? Within the context of marriage, commitment is about unity, faithfulness, monogamy, friendship, affection, love, respect, and many other beautiful attributes that are absolutely priceless. The idea of commitment is often associated with relationships. But for some reason in our world today, it doesn't mean what it used to. There seems to be a loss of commitment among couples because they are more apt to seek divorce as a solution for marital conflict. It's sad to see a decline in true marital commitment today. The deepness of its meaning is overlooked or taken for granted. And so marriage becomes superficial and shallow, and trust is sacrificed. However, there are still so many marriages that demonstrate the true meaning of commitment. I bet you can think of some right now. They are as an example of what it really means to be committed to our spouse and marriage. For instance, one couple believes that being best friends before marriage helped them to learn how to take care of each other's needs — and that their friendship is the basis of their commitment and trust. Or take the husband who values his relationship with his wife and kids so much that he would never dream of an affair for fear of hurting and losing them. Or the wife who claims that her relationship with God is an essential factor to avoid temptation. Many people have commitment phobia and are afraid of settling down and dedicating themselves to one partner for life. They're uncertain the relationship will last. They wonder if the one they love might up and leave one day. But deep within their hearts, if they are honest with themselves, they are hopeful and have a deep desire to find someone who will be faithful to them and who won't take commitment for granted. Commitment matters. It means something. It means that you made a decision to work through the hard stuff and that you are not going anywhere. It means that you can be counted on. It means that you will do whatever it takes to maintain a strong relationship and a happy marriage. Marriage is an investment of love, affection, respect, and trust. It is an experience that creates profound joy, security, and belonging that will last a lifetime for those who honor their commitment to each other no matter what. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/scorpiontemple/message
