Update: Please note, that for the health and safety of our artists and production staff, we have suspended ‘on-location’ recording in NYC until further notice. But the show must go on! We are adapting to the 'new normal', and have adjusted the SuperUnknown podcast format to accommodate remote interviews for future episodes. Now more than ever, we need to give fans a reason to smile, a reason to dance, a distraction during this chaotic moment in history. On each episode of SuperUnknown, artists have the platform to connect with fans in a personal and meaningful way, whether it's by performing a live session via Skype, or sharing an old demo that is near and dear to them. For the people, and for ourselves, it's so important to keep creating, and keep sharing art when the world needs it most. SuperUnknown is a podcast series about the music you don’t know by the people you do. If you’ve ever been curious about the music your favorite musicians made before (or after!) they became famous, here’s a chance to hear the previously unheard. Hosted by filmmaker, DJ, designer, and award-winning music and portrait photographer Dana Distortion Yavin, each episode will feature Dana sitting down with a notable musician to dive into their secret vault of obscure or unreleased songs. With rare candor, guests will share insights into their creative process, career choices, successes, failures, and all the grit in between.  With the passion and perspective of a true music fanatic, Dana will explore what makes each artist so unique, and so innovative, that they were always destined to emerge from the SuperUnknown. Each episode concludes with the guest either performing live or debuting unreleased tracks on the show. Season One will consist of eight episodes.
