Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to jump on a plane (by yourself), travel to the other side of the world and climb a mountain? So many of us have that desire to throw caution to the wind but we never do it because we're afraid. We hide that fear behind one excuse or another. I remember having a chat with Marilyn before she headed on this trip. We laughed and laughed and laughed about the possibilities. Go on. Grab yourself a tea, or maybe even a mojito, lie back and enjoy. Imagine yourself doing it too.
I went into this podcast with Hendrik to chat about female inventors. We talked everything from patents to the glass ceiling to relationships. So fun.Hendrik is such a cool guy. He's a patent attorney but he's also an inventor. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed recording it.
You are here today with yours truly. I always have people asking how I do it. How did you build a gym from scratch. How did you become a partner in a law firm at such a young age. How did you manage to work full time and have 3 kids. How have you managed to stay fit and healthy. How are you managing to crush your online business. I'd love to tell you I'm special but I'd be lying. I'm not. I'm actually really, really boring. I make lists. I'm consistent and I'm committed. Tune in to hear how I do it. I promise that if you follow my steps, you will get what you want. Go on. Listen in and then try. You need to be committed though. Don't go looking for Motivation. He lives with the Gruffalo (my favourite ever kid's book).
Loved having Claude on the show. Claude is a fitness and strength coach, originally from London but now based in Chichester, West Sussex, specialising in body transformations, powerlifting, boxing and natural movement. He wasn't always a coach though and spent over 23 years as a journalist in the world of boxing. Claude is a father of 2, aged 7 and 12 and at 51 years of age, is in amazing shape. He powers his body using a plant based diet, something I think about often but haven't yet managed to commit to fully. If you ask Claude, he'll tell you that "it’s never too late to begin", "everyone should be doing some form of resistance training", and "the greatest hindrances to gaining and retaining a healthy physical condition are lifestyle; impatience and excuses". Check him out here. You'll love his daily vlogs
